Maybe try getting some known-straight pieces of lumber like 2x6, 6x6, or 2x8 from the hardware store and set them on the mill. Roll the blade over them and see if it would have a consistent cut the whole length

Bill since your saw mill pad was poured it could have heaved or drooped throwing the track leveling screw jacks to not be level the woodmizer mills in there manual it says the screw jacks should be checked yearly or 2 times a year for ground expansion or contraction

+ More usable wood if you would cut it in half .

+ l mean shorter pieces , instead of 12 feet one piece ; you get 6 feet long but 4 pieces .

A tip for wood drying an inch per year. So for example if it was three inches it would be three years and make sure that they are extremely flat on a flat service to begin with

@billstmaxx i think where you messed up some on that first log, is the way you leveled it, next time measure the pith (center of the log) to the bed of the mill, make that dimension the same on both ends, then start cutting your slabs off till you get to a decent size cant.

I've spent 24 years working in a sawmill. Its not always easy or fun. Just have to keep trying different things and you will get it. Its always more fun sawing your own stuff than buying it.

It sure would have been easier to make several thinner cuts vs that massive second pass.

Those Wood Mizer saws are nice. The one that is actually a trailer with all hydraulic system that turns the log are nice but not so cheap either

Jackery to blue etti solar units Jackery’s big unit has thirty amp plug plus it’s on its own cart it be wise to invest in your auto up n down on the woodland and a solar panels the draw back to jackery is no direct sunlight on the unit. Blue etti your fine. No no not water proof. My thoughts were use your green trailer set either unit in it while you work short extension cord Mind that Jackery either unit know what your running power wise Jackery does their units according to max wattage. So on stuff on owners manual look and find wattage then per unit look at double or triple because big draws drains it fast.

+ Bill , just get your self a leaf blower and run it for ten seconds after each cut . THE BLAD IS GOING STRAIT , NOTHING WRONG WITH IT , IT IS THE WOOD THAT ‘S GOT STUFF UNDER IT MAKING IT SITTING IN A DIFFERENT PLACE EVERY TIME YOU MOVE IT .🤑
