Mark galicic, I like victims, booms, magic number 22, bus motor productions, dogs up, dogs out, dogs down, master dog, stop sign, Mr. Laser, and Chewy. I guess I like it all.
To the people nagging and complaining...”Pith on them”. Mark, just keep doing what you are doing. We love you the way you are. Stay safe out there and keep cool. Peace
Is America not the greatest nation on earth or what? Where else can you sit and work up a sweat while watching someone else work up a sweat? I love your channel. Keep up the great work!
Grandpa was especially impressed today. Says you are professional. Great video we are done with first cut hay so to have extra sawing action was as hot to us as the weather is in your neck of the woods. Great looking lumber!!
Please keep those Victims coming . I’m 1000% with you my UA-cam channel friend . I’m here because I enjoy your speak . You just being you and nothing else. I’m proud of you for being who you are without outside influences . Keep up your amazing work .
Hi Mark. Very beautiful oak lumber. I wondered you had w/ the first log & some bark issues. I saw Ed's video first. We got up to the mid 60s in southwestern Vermont area. We're going to be in the 50s Monday night. Say Hi to Ed, ZZ, & Hank. 🥰😊😉👍❤️💜🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Maple syrup is real expensive; your channel sure gave you some good friends. It is sort of funny when other channels talk about you. It was good to see you and I am glad that you were able to help a friend.
@markgalicic7788 I am firmly addicted to your blog.I follow a man in upstate New York who does logging with draft horses and he has his own saw mill. He runs band saw nothing of your size, but stays busy day till night with 400 acre farm and saw mill.Just things to keep a retired guy occupied. Thanks for what you and partners do.
Half past eight at night that’s some nice oak coming off the mill it would make nice furniture nearly all my furniture in the cottage is oak most of it is well over a hundred years old , anyway you guys have a nice day
Wow, a three log video.. That was a beautiful red oak Mark. Terrific job with ornery logs. The tree ended forgot to drain their bath before leaving that tree. What would help that much water in a tree? Keep using those sticks for cleaning underneath. Safety first and science second. Peace brother
As usual it is nice to see, hear, and feel you all in operation once again, Edgie Edgar was in full and fine voice singing his duet with Sammy the chop saw. The rest o the house band was in full and fine voice and for with the harmony and harmonics in full compliment of each other. stay safe, hydrated and happy.
I’m sick to death of people with their first-world “problems”. There have not been enough hard times in this country for so long people have become way-soft. Most have the luxury to operate by feelings not common(?) sense. Good times create soft men … You do you Mark and we will watch you👍
I wouldn’t worry about the people complaining about fact you use the word victim when describing logs it’s always the smallest minority and the dumbest people who scream the loudest
Gotta love the grammar police...🙄🙄the logs ARE victims (from dragging, sawing, etc) until turned into useful and sometimes beautiful wood. Have fun, be like a duck & water, just let it roll off your back. 😎😎👍👍💯💯
That first log had the biggest face cut notch I've seen on a tree of that size. The lumber from that log will all be different lengths. Still lots of good oak from these logs.
I have a suggestion for a video. Like the thunderstorm sound tracks make a video of just the hum of the motor and the saw. I made a play list of your vids to fall asleep to but talking or music jumps me back awake. Just edit a bunch of old videos together. Could really help your veiwing hours.
Mark, did you ever consider a table next to the edger? The slabs coming off the rollers would be at near edger height and wouldn't have to be picked off the ground to be edger. Just a thought.

Mark, you can’t even imagine how much I needed that sawing therapy tonight. Thank you so much! 🙏

Every slice of red oak is a work of art, never the same, like a sunrise or a sunset. Just have to give honor to the artist.
Good evening from Lincolnshire UK.
good evening Andrew.
You can't please everone. Just keep on with how you do things, Mark. Keep cool and safe. See y'all soon.

I’m very pleased, simply making an observation about a recurring issue that shuts the mill down.🤔
It’s so nice watching the dogs come up and not sticking.you can Shirley do great work ❤
thanks.
I learn so much from your commentary. Thankyou !
thanks glad you learn from it.
We love your long videos guys. it never grows old.
thanks glad you liked it.
Very beautiful grain on this red oak 🙏👍🏻
yes it was Barry.
I enjoyed this video the bark was playing havoc with you ..but you got the best of it ..great job 👍👍👍👍
Thanks, guys! Enjoyed. And don't acknowledge the "victim" complainers - they need to get over themselves.
thank you.
Thanks!
That tree 🌳 sure was barking and beautiful😂❤
That was just God blessing your mill😊❤
The grain on that is amazing Mark, I hope you got a substantial badge of this timber, it's amazing bro!

good one lol.
Excellent video… like always!! I like the edger part , more explanation of how it works!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
First log was a beauty. Third log, not so much. Lots of knots spitting out water and trash. Pretty crazy 🤪!
yes the butt log is the best lumber.
A few nice boards.
Thanks for the video.
thank you , not bad
I'm so glad you made your little speech for those that are so easily offended
it needed to be said.
Thanks for the longer video.
There were some great looking boards
When I complaining how heavy oak is ,while stacking fire wood with my uncle,he'd say, oak,is no joke! It's heavy
yes it's very heavy.
Dito's Mark, from a Mark!! 👍😊

Something about watching wood get cut!! Thanks fellows

Hey Mark enjoy the videos. FYI Scarlet oak is in the red oak group as classified by botanist. Have a great day.

Curious why you dont have another laser to show top of blade

Just interesting and entertaining to watch you young fellers 😊
I'd like to see some before and after from the edger🎉🎉
you see the before on the sawmill.
@@markgalicic7788 so is the edger for all of the lumber or certain boards? Sorry I don't understand.
When you power up that old 6-71 reminds me of the old Port Authority busses leaving a stop.
Hello from Denmark 🇺🇸🇩🇰😀
Hello Morten.
A question
Dids the customer have to supply there own logs
Or do you have a contacter
they brought the logs to us so we call this custom sawing.
If you ever do get a de-barker definitely name it "Bob".
I like it lol!
Did I see 2 kilns behind the sawdust shed?
no sir.
I've noticed on the last few videos that the knees or head blocks are leaving greasy streaks on the cant. Recent lubrication?
that's the reaction of oak and steel it turns blue fast , tannic acid.
I had to put stainless steel 3/16” by 2” on my log deck. But the fork lift forks will react with it also.
BIG HUG FROM CHICAGO IL 🌪️🌪️🌪️🌪️🌪️

Nice victims !!!
yes for sure.
That first log had the biggest face cut notch I've seen on a tree of that size. The lumber from that log will all be different lengths. Still lots of good oak from these logs.
yes it had a big bell end.
Awesome video. Is oak used a lot down there for framing? Seems like a hard, heavy wood for that.

thanks James.
How do you determine the price of each board
we charge per board foot 12x12x1.
Maybe fabricate a bark plow for the tracks?
they have rubber scrappers.
Far from being a victim Mr. Oak gave as good as it got. Didn't go down without a fight!!!
that's true lol.
45:42 I heard that little bullet hit the glass. Guess that's why you've got a protective cab!
yes little chunks of bark.
Wouldn't it be easier to use a hand planner then the chain saw to trim the goobers that are sometimes left on the victim?
no the chainsaw works great for us not sure why people don't like it.
Mark, did you ever consider a table next to the edger? The slabs coming off the rollers would be at near edger height and wouldn't have to be picked off the ground to be edger. Just a thought.
yes we have but not at this time.
Oh yes, pencil sawing!

@@markgalicic7788 Thank you, sir, but it sure wasn't funny when it was happening! lol
What does a piece of bark have effect on the log?
Keeps the log from lying fla t so the thickness of the cut is not parallel.
Hey Mark, Can you see the face in the yellow dial you use to adjust the next cut ?
I will look.
