IDK if this is true but I read on bbr discord that attachments only effect movespeed 50% of what is shown. Would that make the fal 1.15 still slower than the smgs?
also gonna piggyback off of this comment and say, apparently stowed weapons attachments dont effect movespeed either, so equip the extended mag on it as much as you want!

EDIT: TEST: Run from Shooting Range sign to Tutorial Lite sign (pillar to pillar) 1st test: FAL short-mag equipped, 1.10 pistol secondary - 2.2 seconds 2nd test: FAL short-mag equipped, 0.92 glock secondary - 2.2 seconds Huh, maybe I need to test a longer running track to get a more accurate result, but seems negligible so far.
@@ARTEMISXIX Just to clarify, did you mean "1.10 pistol" as another pistol, or the Glock? And do you move slower while holding FAL if you have equipped a Deagle/RSH instead of a Glock, or are movement speed differences only active with currently held weapon? Good to know that you can atleast run ext mag on the Glock without penalty! Devs have made so many small changes in a short time I'm not sure how movement works currently.
Generally I find the glock is best to run with guns that either A: are low fire rate/ mag capacity like DMRs and Snipers B: guns which you are reloading constantly due to extremely high ROF or CQC action like the SMGs or PDWs In any other situation I prefer running the deagle
I play recon alot in mid to close range engagements the supressed deagle and smoke has saved me a lot by letting me turn the situation from getting sieged into a stealth escape mission to reposition again
My personal choice of secondary has got to be the Unica, it has served the best for me in comparison to the m9, glock, and deagle. Its got a nice amount of damage to 1 tap anyone you've hit or 2 tap most full health enemies. Its punishing to miss a shot but hey with every sidearm it is. Looking foward to seeing the rest of the sidearms and your thoughts on them! love your vids, big fan!
I would love to see the glock get buffed again to become a good counter for verctors & scorpions in extreme close range. It will be extremely beneficial for newer players and anyone running a low rof primary.
I feel like the glock is the easiest sidearm to use, but not the best. I feel this probably because since its full auto, you don't need to spam the click to shoot fast, which don't only make the gun a bit easier to control but also make it shoot more consistenly, which is great for desperate situations at least when I play with it, like when the primary is out of ammo in the middle of a fight.
I've given the Glock a go but found it either performed just as good as the M9, or just lets me down. damage and the mag size I think holds it back for me. I've pretty much only ever used the M9, i find its perfect, 30 or 31 damage I cant remember right off , very little recoil, ample mag size. The M9 has helped me in several gun fights, tap somebody twice with the AR, run outta ammo, take cover, pull out the 9, and finish em off! I've even run outta ammo all together, and managed to get 2-3 pistol kills before death. tactical barrel has been the wave for me lately too, as a return pc gamer after over a decade on console I've always struggled with recoil control a bit. been finding lately that if i struggle in game using a heavy/long barrel, ill take the damage cut, swap to a tac barrel and basically go off - its literal night and day difference simply because im not wizzin on my shots theyre going where i want. been consistently dropping 1.5-2x kd games since i started doing this going from a negative to 1kd player.
I am so glad to see you say this! I try to stress on this channel that bringing recoil attachments is totally fine, I see alot of high skill players say not too, but honestly even I run recoil attachments sometimes and just shred.

I have heard that to be true aswell! But I have not had conclusive testing, I will pin this comment though just so people are aware :)

I’m a deagle user. I get intense satisfaction during the rare times i can one tap someone when my primary runs dry.

Honestly deagle still slaps,I'd say the deagle is better than the glock in a good amount of situations,but both guns are pretty balanced
People say the Osprey is good due to the style. A short suppressor is best imo. The range at which you use the Glock, recoil doesn't matter much.

Sidearms seem to be severely underappreciated. Especially when playing any main guns with a long reload, like Support

High firerate guns are good at hipfire, because missing is less punishing with higher firerate guns.

Glock is good but I think the rsh is a bit better with the one shot head shot, gets em every time.
Would it be a bad idea to have dual wield with some secondaries? Might be a little too COD but it sounds fun to me.
