I usually just run gun fighter and flash hider with quick mag because I feel like I can handle the vertical recoil better than the horizontal. Loving the upload schedule by the way, I really enjoy watching these while commuting to school.
Now that u mention it, OCE servers and players are really cool, I could definitely see this tournament being a major event every month given how social OCE is
I think my favorite thing about battlebit is that if you like a weapon. You can use it and still do good enough to have fun. I feel like the fine tuning of range/recoil/velocity is exactly what the weapons need to keep them all viable but, balanced. Great work on your videos the quality and layout is awesome.
Unlocked this gun yesterday and within 3 games i got 250 kills on it. The gun is a freaking monster it felt like nothing could compete. Its only downside is the 20 round mag but even then it can be compensated with super fast reload. For me its #1
I actually run a blend of your and the viewer submitted build on Conq and I find it works pretty well. I run the URK and Long Barrel, no mag, and Ranger Vest everywhere with the FAL. I find that at range, trying to reduce horizontal doesn't do a whole lot when it's going to be hovering around ~2 anyways, and since I'm not running assault I really need the extra mag, bullets, and quicker reload from the URK without downsides of the short or quick mags. Tbh I haven't run the calculations to know if the long barrel actually makes a significant difference anywhere in TTK so I might switch off it but I find the recoil to be manageable. Sometimes you just have to pull down and hope you get a good horizontal pattern to not get killed but I think that's a worthy tradeoff for being so good at literally everything else.
Got my highest ever kill game with the FAL. 115 in a CTF game. Edit: tactical barrel, URK grip and quick A mag. Super fast reloads, recoil is not bad. I tend to play slightly slower than many of the KPM sweats, so the ranger is my go-to for the extra mags.
Thank you for clarifing something l see a bunch of other players reviewing this gun not admit, which is the fact the gun is very skill reliant. If you can control the fal it is strong on pratically any range. The one exception is extreme sniper range. In the case of someone not being able to control the gun it becomes a short range AR with smg ttk. L think the only gun besides it that has this dynamic is the scorpion evo even thought their archtypes are quite diferent. L dont think its broken but it has the possibility to be the best AR in the game if the player has the skill to achieve its potential

I have a love-hate relationship with FAL, on one hand I love high caliber rifle with high rate of fire (like FG-42 from BFV), on the other there are way too many factors to consider: first round recoil (or else I can't tap enemies or hit prone ones), vertical and horizontal.
I do agree with this partially, in battlebit the vertical recoil is on a distribution and is not even for every bullet, meaning that vert recoil is partially random, just like horizontal, but in other games this would be the case
i been using tactical + vertical grip + big mag. works out actualy much better then expected with 2.7 horizontal recoil. meaby cuz of combined recoil of vertical and horizontal kicks much harder then just horizontal but you should try it out
I think my go to is BCM flashhider or Compensator and red dot. Definitely one of my favorite ARs because everything else feels way too slow TTK wise against SMGs.
idk, I tried everything in this game and fal is def top tier, but all in all Groza is still the best overall. the problem with ak, fal and scar group of weapon(high dmg, high horizontal, low amount of bullets) is that they are random a lot of times and fight from middle to long range is complete luck. Groza still kills in 3 bullets, and relatively low dmg from middle range and up compenstaed by the great accuracy and 30 bullets.
awhile ago you mentioned something people were overlooking with the lower damage sniper rifles, do you remember what that was? Or was it just that they out damage the other weapons around 700m?
I cannot remember what I meant back then, but all I can think of now is the SV-98 has a red dot and no other one does, and the sg has a 20 round mag, but now the 20 rounder slows you down :(

I was hoping you knew a secret :)alas. there's a range where both the SV and the SSG out-damage the others on the curves, They "fall off" earlier, they start increasing damage faster because the reversed curve. but it's such a niche range that it doesn't seem worth it yet. Outside trick shots, I guess.
so it makes it better against armour, pretty much just meaning the TTK is more consistent, which I personally found with alot of practice I enjoyed this benefit alot
along with armor, long barrel in general increases your chances of killing someone who only bandaged once after bleeding. Since usually that's around 83-84 at most in my experience (people don't want to waste the extra 20hp, and die for it)

i hate that bboce server, all clumped up enemies in choke points no ability to flank idk why people play it its just kill die kill die. plus the uniforms confuse me also i have my team mate markers on blue and then sometimes the enemy clothing is blue, fucks me up. UAV and admins known for being toxic after only a week or 2 of release its just sigh

Yeah actually boils water that turns turbines with steam, cool idea. Super low tech and good in the desert so long as it's not too dusty

Compare to the AK15, FAL has better ADS time and running speed. In my opinion now, AK15 is good for holding angles and I can rush more with the FAL.

I would've removed the HK419 for the G3 since it's similar in dmg.
The only reason I use the HK here is because when you have a long barrel on the HK one headshot bings it down to a 3 shot, even against helmets

I really love the build variety on the Fal, u can use it on every map and just swap attachments to fit
