    I have about 615 miles on my Rally, thank you for your videos ! One thing I did to really improve performance was to lower my air pressure in my tires Front- 10 PSI and Rear- 12 PSI. The dealer had almost 20 in both tires. Went from sketchy on gravel to allot more control. Subbed !! Remember its allot more fun driving a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow......

      Welcome to the team my friend! Just being direct and honest goes a long way. I don’t ask for likes or subscriptions and enjoy our riders here. I think Yammie would be able to actually speak about the bike if like many others, he actually rode it, unfortunately they often do not.

    Thank you for taking time to share your experience in a thorough comparison of various types of riding. Also for setting up camera work, mics and editing that make for a fine video. Just curious where in Virginia are you riding? It looks like a state park entrance sign in the last dialog. And yes, the out the door price here in Northern Virginia is high! They have such a long waiting list, they can charge and get pretty much whatever they ask.

    • @motormigo3204
      @motormigo3204  2 роки тому

      Glenn,
      Thank you for the kind remarks! There are a lot of moving parts to producing a review for such an awesome bike! Delivering the right camera work is so important to sharing the experience of the ride. I have so much to learn and really this is all for good fun! Yes, I was riding in the haymarket, VA area (I got a calimoto route that goes through some incredible views). The Northern Virginia dealer is expensive, they knew there was scarcity and on my part I just wanted the bike. It’s funny how itchy boots literally bought the same bike, if a world adventurer like her is riding this thing then maybe that’s all I have to say haha!

    I managed to find one for $7,050 after looking for a day. Drove out with my partner and rode it 130 miles back home.
    It's a blast even with me being 6'3" and 250lbs
    The handlebars are buzzy though. My right hand went numb after about an hour.

    Itchy Boots went 22,000 km a Honda CRF250L, if I am not mistaken. So going long distance is possible on this machine.

    • @motormigo3204
      @motormigo3204  2 роки тому +3

      The mentality to travel long distance is all you need my friend. The bike itself provides the comfort / performance you’d enjoy on the way. She has, and she also is in the unique position to make these trips. The crf250L should be just fine, I just think it’s underpowered on highway.

      I recently did a 486 mile day ride. I kept the throttle pinned about 40-50 % of the ride trying to stay close to the 75 mph speed limit here in Texas. The Rally did great with zero heat issues. The Texas heat, however did have a toll on me. 🤣🤣

    I have the Rally...it's what I call my "campground" bike. I haul it on a hitch rack behind my truck camper and use it for exploring areas around my camp and also to run into the closest town for supplies...more camping, less driving when the rig gets 11MPG! This is NOT a single track bike...get the "L" model if you want that and it's also NOT a bike for multi-day distance riding. Yeah, I know Itchyboots is doing it...but when she's on the highway all day with that engine screaming at 7,000 RPM to maintain 70MPH that's just pure hell. This Rally would also be an excellent commuter bike.

This is a fun light bike that has the power to go 55 mile an hour in a Bean field and get up a pretty steep hill and third gear. If you want to go over 70 mile an hour on the highway by a 700 cc plus motorcycle but you’re gonna trade off for weight.
