Doctor Who 60th Anniversary Theme But There's No Piano...

- Murray Gold really knocked it out of the park with this new theme - easily the best since series 4. One of the things RTD specifically requested was for there to be more piano in the theme. Here's what it would sound like without it. It's only subtly different, but it's still interesting to hear regardless. Personally, I think it works just as strongly without it as it does with it. Enjoy.
Now just the piano ;)
Sure,

Listened to the one with only the piano and omg that was actually good
@@Jackardy And how did you do it?
@@timeywimeybronythere are AI programs you can use to separate tracks. Most of the time I see it used to separate vocals and background music but I don’t see why the same thing couldn’t be used to separate a single instrument.
It’s definitely an interesting take! Very impressed that you can isolate it! Personally I love the piano parts, has a bit of TV movie theme vibes which I love
Do this again but without the breathing
I like the 'breathing'. It's a tad too over powering at the start but by the time it gets to 0:23 I think it really compliments it well.
Would love to hear just the breathing

I personally really like the piano added, despise the breathing noises. The concert version of this theme, (before the breathing was added), is perfect to me.
Two months of going crazy, a Jackardy upload day is a blessed day indeed
the piano is the best part of this theme imo so it's weird hearing it without
I don’t know you manage them but this is clean! Very good work! I love your slight theme alterations!
it's literally the closing theme to the tennant specials if you really think about it
This is amazing! 😊😊
Ehh.... i still prefer wittakers opening - had the right amount of uneartlyness that makes the doctor stand out.
The modern version of the show has always had a lot of energy and excitement and I think the theme should reflect that.
Personally, I think Jodie's theme should have been Capaldi's. Much more suited to his Classic Doctor aesthetic. Jodie was a lot more like the modern Doctors so a theme like Tennant's or Smith's would have suited her better I feel.
@@DoctorVision just switch jodie's and capaldi's around lol
Really cool! I'd love to see this done with the Christmas version of the theme with its boosted bassline and better balanced "breathing".
Thought we’d lost you jackardy
without the piano I'm getting phantom limb syndrome but the piano version of that
call me dumb if you will butttttt venture bros reference?
Marvellous! As much as I love the piano element, it actually works well without it. Any chance of doing a variant omitting the opening fanfare?
REMOVE THE BREATHING NEXT
Ikr I hate it so much
Yeah It sounds like a bunch of rusty bed springs
ABSOLUTELY HATE THE BREATHING TOTALLY RUINS IT
Argh you guys are kinda rude for the breathing
I don't understand the breathing noise hate icl, it reminds me of the start of William Hartnell's intro
I like it
Do you think you could do a video where you remove the fanfare?
It’s a shame it’s got that sound at the start. Jodie run removed it and it felt so much more modern. But they kept it for the end, felt better
Wait, there's was piano?
Needs more cowbell
Why does the breathing sound like they’re saying “doctor who”?
maybe try the opening theme? nonetheless it sounds way different without the piano
I think I prefer this version, actually, not that I especially dislike the piano parts. I do like the new theme overall, but there's one major issue I have with it, which is the high-pitched percussion, or "breathing", or whatever it is. It's too overpowering for me throughout. Particularly, I feel like it takes away from the bass-line, which has always been the foundation of the Doctor Who theme. It just makes it lack the usual grounded oomph, in my opinion.
The mix they used for the Christmas special really boosted the bassline and made the breathing more of a background thing. I'd deffo listen to both for comparison.
Gold fell into the familiar trap of overstuffing the theme with way too much, again. But this definitely helps. Series 1 is still the best.
Now do one without the constant awful scratchy breathy percussion that ruins an otherwise great theme! 😂
I thought you had quit the show
