This is great, I always wondered tho why they couldn’t green screen Tennant in the 13th Doctor Tardis would’ve made more sense than some space backdropping lol
@@mysterygamermgclues8864 To be fair, the Children in Need special almost certainly used the generic backdrop used during 13's era, which is very different from a full greenscreen effect. Not that I'm defending the space backdrop though. Idk who thought that was a good idea lmao
I don’t think a tardis reveal would have matched the tone of wild blue yonder, would have felt out of place

The new TARDIS was at Bad Wolf Studios while Whittaker's was at Roath Lock so they just didn't have access with managable logistics (additionally COVID precautions were in place). The same is why Matt Smith gets a new interior without a clear crossover in The Snowmen when they moved from Upper Boat studios to Roath lock studios.
They could have destroyed 13s interior at this point with Donna dunking a custard creme into her coffee. And then introduced the new one in the End of Wild Blue Yonder with Wilf.
Whatever my problems with the Whitaker/Chibnal era the titles certainly weren't one of them, I love them. ... Well actually those couple times they didn't have them bothered me, but the titles themselves are great.
As much as I like the new current opening we have with the Tardis flying in the opening and the new theme song, I honestly prefer the previous opening over the current opening because of the proper sync the theme goes at the beginning of the opening.
You can complain about jodie's doctor as much as you want. She atleast was a doctor, what ever ncuti is playing its not the doctor. Actually, Ruby is more doctor than the doctor. Not even clara managed to do that.

Agreed, generally an odd decision, made more so given it featured in that children in need special.

What a way to throw away the most expensive title sequence
God I wish they kept this intro SO BADLY this is amazing!!
I will say the title drop at the end of 13's intros always made me feel goosebumps every time.
I still think they should’ve destroyed 13s tardis like they did with 14s and in WBY 14 would’ve gotten the new interior
I think the set was dismantled before the 60th anniversary specials were shot.
@@Alkonium they should’ve shot the scenes in 13s tardis before it got demolished then boom

My favourite opening sequence. It vibes well with these specials. Especially the next time trailer.
Oh my lord, this is absolutely beautiful! ✨
This is actually incredible, amazing work!
Nah why does this actually bang though 😫🔥
AMAZING EDITING!
They should’ve kept these for the specials…
Um no there shit
@Therealbigcatvr *they're
@The_Zodiac.14 aren’t
@@Therealbigcatvr how was this shit?
I liked the intro but I don’t think I wanted it to stay any longer, I think they just got a bit boring after a while
Love this! 💙
I actually love this.
it really makes you miss this one, with all the hiccups of the chibnall era you have to admit the doctor who theme for series 11 - 13 was brilliant

So much better!

This would’ve been perfect. Like a spiritual sequel to the end of the Chibnall era. This is what Jodies era was leading to
I love this so much
Do another one with Wild Blue Yonder.
Glorious
13th had the best title music and sequence of the revival.

No Clara? Boooooo!!!
What do you mean?
@@JAWProductionsFA I just miss Clara haha.
Such an underwhelming title sequence compared to everything that came before and after it isn't it. - Great edit though!
Not really
God this looks so bad even today I'm not talking about David or Catherine, I'm talking about this awful awful intro for the 13th doctor.
Much better than the current one 😬
Why ruin a good thing
Bros mad over a title sequence
Bros triggered at a title sequence
Bud, it’s just a title sequence
that's the history of doctor who
