    When she says parsley I immediately knew I was going to substitute it for cilantro, I've been trained to love the taste of cilantro, I can't handle parsley unless it's in taboule but even then I can't really eat it in a normal portion size

    • @maiasitter677
      @maiasitter677 6 років тому

      Exactly. There are vegans who are grossed out by meat and choose not to eat anything that closely resembles it. However, there are many who went vegan for the animals and the planet and miss those things sometimes.

    And I also sliced my thumb open on the blender blade, a dangerous recipe indeed!

      i think you can get stuff like that wherever you'd buy the full size product, and just choose to get a sample size (which is usually pretty cheap). they offer them so prospective buyers can take it home and see if it works with their kitchen, bathroom, home decor, etc. before actually having to commit on the spot to the full size.

    I have a question and I thought you (or any viewers) might be able to help...I've been vegan for almost two months now and I recently began noticing an increase in hair loss and it's starting to worry me (like clumps of 5 or more strands will come out when I run my hands through my hair). I've read a bunch of articles about possible cause and watched a view videos where people talked about it...but I was wondering if you (or anyone else) went through anything similar and how they fixed it and if I should be worried? I have zero desire to go back to eating meat and dairy but the hair loss is starting to freak me out a bit.

    Oh my gosh I just realized the jackfruit product she used is called upton's because in the late 1800's or early 1900's a guy named upton Sinclair wrote "the jungle" which was about the horrors of meat-packing industry😱
