I diagnose this Reznor unit heater that was in a Gym. I found it had a bad gas valve. I had gas to the gas valve and when it got energized it would not open the valve to ignite.
You have to give it to Reznor for having such a large heat exchanger that puts out so much heat that only has one burner! This is very efficient. You should do a video on this when / if you replace the gas valve.
We made the mistake of buying about 50 of these heaters for our warehouse. They are the biggest piles of trash I have ever seen. They never run and we are constantly working on them.

Not made as good as they used to be. I have noticed more issues with them as well.

what would cause a single attempt at a spark, one spark then shut down for loss of flame signal or failed ignition?
Possibly a bad control board if it's only trying once
Workin on one that says code 7 reverse polarity but then the thing doesn’t ignite. Would’ve assumed it wouldn’t run its sequence if it was wrong
