Orks orks orks orks orks orks orks
:D good old dawn of war
WAAAGH!!!
As someone who plays Deathwatch and Custodes I think It may be the perfect time to try out a new army for the next few months :)
hahaha, recommended
hahaa lol. Thinking of Grey Knights atm but I dont want to spend excessive money..... thinking of a printer now lol
You should try orks
@@merica6502 it's weird. I always love them, dawn of war ... warhammer40k, doesn't matter, I find them super funny also have you listened to baldemort's kronan audio books? OMG ... sooo good stuffffff....
But in the end I never play orks, nor have I painted an ork model. I should try .....
@@zulumaioxyou won’t regret it, and kit bashing Orks? Oh don’t get me started…
If they changed Indirect Fire to require at least one model form your army to have LOS to the target it would completely change the game and incentivize movement and good positioning.
This! I think needing spotting is totally the way to go
Considering my pre-nerf CSM army lost north of 200 points AND got a heavy-handed rules nerf, I don't think this will catapult them back up above 50% at all tbh, but neither should it before the codex comes. I might get 50-100 pts back and that's it really. All the units that were an issue before are still just as nerfed as they were a few days ago. It does improve internal balance quite a bit though which is a good thing before a new codex.
Yeah that is what i figured GW was going for, give you guys something to mess around with for the next month or so, until your ungodly 9 detachments release!
I am a Sisters of battle player, and my next game is against chaos knights - Im struggling to decide if I should replace my ten arco flagellants and preacher for a unit of repentia and the daemonifuge, and it will give me enough points to keep the palatine’s blade of St Ellynor enhancement. I love this element of theory crafting.
i dont think there is any world where you dont want the blade of st ellynor
Great call on the Squighog Boyz. The inability for the Nob on Smasha Squig to take enhancements, particularly headwoppa’s killchoppa, is also a big loss.
yeah, they still have a niche job, but they will be taking a rest for a few months in most of my list
Did I missed Drukhari here? Very refreshing insights!
nope! They had 0 changes!
Another great video as usual. There’s something I love about your energy, and the way you connect, even on screen. I can imagine you being a super solid teacher.
I too am pretty impressed with GW’s balance team overall. As a WEs player, they did a good job bringing internal balance and making so many things viable. Meta lists only got 30-50 points. Off-meta lists got as much as 100-150. That’s the way to do it.
Still sad about my Goldboys, who shall continue to stay on the shelf until something makes me excited to play them (haven’t felt excited for all of 10th, as standing somewhere and dominating is lame)
I appreciate this comment! It really means alot, ill do my best to keep bringing them!
Deep dive into the meta, thanks dude! Can't wait your ranking of tier orks units ;) you rock \m/
tomorow!
Thoughts on a squigboss in war hourde using the 4+FNP enhancement running solo.
You can kinda use one like you use to.
he does not do the same job sadly :/ T8 is a big difference from T10, and you cant load him with Headwoppas and the supa cybork sadly
A refreshingly optimistic take on the patch! Personally i feel the nicest thing I can say about it is that it’s boring
Love the guard changes, I can fit an extra vanquisher in almost any list, also you can replace the basilisk and manticores with field ordinance batteries and creed for a very similar price as before, that will actually hit hard if creed uses field of fire for free and orders them. For the blood angels, I think I may try running 10 assault terminators with claws and a librarian in my SOS detachment. It's wild how much damage they can deal to any target, damage reductions don't affect them, you can use rapid ingress and after they blow something up the enemy still has to deal with 30 t5 2+ wounds.
this is an interesting concept!
Insightful and entertaining. My dudes will get rules changes in june the fastest. Summer is the time when l get the most games. I hope, l won't get the rules in autum or winter.
Balance team has proven they react well at least. Ill give GW that
New Ork player here, what is the difference between codex points lists and index points list. I still only have the index so which one should I use to get my army size?
neither! Use the MFM points found on Warhammer community, it is the most recent download for 40k
Totally agree on the guard changes but I hope GW takes a more proactive approach to indirect next rules change so their only way of addressing it isn’t continual points nerfs.
i am so with you on this.... I think the best way to do it, is indirect needs a special rule stating, weapons using the indirect ability, cannot be buffed by any abilites, auras, or rules.
Looking at one of Josh Roberts lists, he brings 3 plasmancers, 3 technomancers, and Szeras. This list I'm looking at would be 2135 points now.
easy to make small swaps and have essentially the same thing
Wraiths got a stealth nerf with the Techno getting 25 points, Wraiths by themselves just don't hold up - especially with an awful leadership of 8 if they start to get degraded they can't do what you want them to do
Canoptek court, drops one squad of trash and carries on doing the same thing i think
The problem with nids is that the faction in general is struggling and they nerfed a must take and buffed a bunch of semiuseless datasheets. Most competetive lists went up in points and have to cut things to still work, sure zoans can be good but nids are going to stay sub 45 maybe even sub 40. They are now more balanced internally but their max power is slightly lower while being low from the start. Nerf gargoyles all you want but unless they give us some way of doing damage or drop points on other good datasheets we can't fit the new stuff in a meaningful way.
This MFM is basically "cut 15 points and keep playing."
i mean. i went 5-0 with a norn spam list. Had no issue causing damage with it. Monster mash also definitely still works. I have a subscriber who is a terror with his battleshock focused list. I encourage you not to listen to doomers who say nids cant be played in different ways. use your own creativity. Come up with something to surprise people. This points drop is an excellent opportunity to cook some new stuff up
Love yor vidz ya git!
IAS I'm autistic AF so the level of detail you go into is really helpful to me. I loved the orks since about 4th edition. WAAAAAAAAAAGH!
Ahh cheers man, super happy to hear it!
I do wonder about squigs (4) plus beastboss on squig. I want use this 0CP heroic intervention to mess with charges and pile-ins of my opponent. But that wishfull thinking. I hate blast works on them. Maybe I should go with bastboss only... but this looks as easy target for enemy.
we are doing out tactical tier list tomorow where we talk about it, but i will likely include 1x4 with BBOS in my Big Hunt list, outside of that? i doubt it for now
MFM means something different in my world 🤪
Its time for the Leman Rush
i am here for it!
Shokkjump Dragsta was 75 already (in previous patch)
okay GW gets a pass :P
How do you best use the Vindicator considering its gun only has a 24" range?
I pop transports with hillarious efficiency, and i restrict my opponent deployment for their gun platforms
"[...]It s irrelevant because terminator are nt good right now" have you tried to make some stats with 5 blood angel assault terminators, with 1 librarian + red rampage and oath of the moment ?
They are insane.
not as much as my brick of assault intercessors, and the assault intercessors actually get to their target ;)
@@Happykrumpingwargaming007 That s why rapid ingress and dread librarian are useful. What is exactly the damage output of your assault intercessors?
they kill a Ctan, they do 28 damage to a land raider, ive shown the spread sheets on other videos before. its plenty, and cheaper. and does not require a dread librarian. I am not saying you are wrong about termies being viable. I am explaining why i dont rate them highly
Player skill will beat out the 10-15% difference between armies. Less focus on the difference and more focus on skill.
Example: Highly skilled guard player went undefeated against a 100 player field where 17% of that field was Necrons at a recent GT 😊
this is 100% true my man
Flash gitz have gone to legends 😂
honestly a 5 man at 80 is pretty dang reasonable
“Get the vindicator”. Not gonna lie. The tank is not the best looking one and totaly firstborn. Do we expect move to legends?
ive been using it for 4 months now, its been great
The Blood Angels nerf was f*cking disgusting and unnecessary
disagree haha, SoS are stronk, my list is still tuned :P
I absolutely dont think that the nightbringer getting a -40 point cost nerf is an excessive thing. Every single one of those C'tans need to be around the 300 point marker. Anything lower and they would be too durable for their cost.
we can agree to disagree
C'tans hate mass damage one lethal hits since their armor and invul save are the same. Just need to hit them with the right weapons.
@@nathangontarz4127 sure because every army detatchment has at least one unit that fits that description.
Yup, I use Hormas and like 65 points for advance and charge is good. 12 inch move and cheap trash. Actually never used Goyles much.
Termagants with build in D6 reactive move, is amazing people drop them to. For 60p like damn. D6 reactive moving trash.
I played them since index drop and Eldaring them behind ruins after things closed in.
I love trash armies. (As in move block bodies.)
Played Skaven in Fantasy. I love my trash. 🎉
😅
And have the most trashy army 😅🎉 (except Orks, who can have more 🗑️)
And lictor! I took always 2 at 60, Neuro is too expensive for trash. I took always 2 Lictors. Like 55p trash lone op which is annoying and trades up. So cheap trash. Can’t wait too jank. I can put 55p garbage lone op and watch a sisters player use reds to take it out exposing them. Or anything expensive with meltas.
ppl being upset about admechs playstyle and not that they are weak is not really a revelation but what most admech players openly say. but i think it's fair to be upset about your armys playstyle, especially when gws vision for your army changes constantly and you are shoehorned into a different VERY specific playstlye from edition to edition.
some people just happen to like admechs visuals and want to collect and play them and are dissapointed that they can't find a playstyle with them that suits them. especially when it comes to controlling the board and not doing much trading with your enemy there arnt a lot of people that are into that as their only option. sure some are, but tailoring entire factions to that seems like a rough idea primed to piss off a lot of people.
fine! have a rational explanation then :P
grey knight player. i just know they hate us. they give us one good gun finally and ofcourse i saw that coming. the other option they nerf again.. but the real problem is that our normal squads suck. and it's not the points. yes sticky is great. it's also the only way we can actually compete with most armys that can just cap everything at once
i think you need to take a second look at your normal squads friend. They 100% do not suck. 2+ army wide and S6 ap 2 d2 melee army wide does not suck
I dont think GW cares about daemons. They wont get a codex and GW will split them into their CSM legion and thats it.
lol, i seriously doubt that. GW loves daemons, its the only army they allow to exist in 2 game systems
@@Happykrumpingwargaming007 they already nuked daemons from AoS. They are split into their factions in that one. They are already retiring models from daemons with last chance to buy. Go to GW site, how many daemon kits are online only and not in stock for months. In old world daemons got and index and are therefore legends. Soon all daemon datasheets are index in AoS with new Ed -> best time to nuke datasheets from the game since they are index in both systems.
I play blood angels.
My list went from 1985 to 2035, and I feel like that's fair, maybe it should have gone to 2045.
The game as a whole got more fair.
Oh, first comment!
love my blood angels!
@@Happykrumpingwargaming007 they run so well, and are nicely balanced.
I'm not a top meta player, but I'm pretty equal level to the people I normally play. (I don't play tournaments due to a physical health issue).
My blood angels list felt a touch op. I was winning every game (haven't lost a game in like 4-5 months with that one list. Other lists I run about 70% on wins. That list has 100% wins) and by a TON of points.
@@Happykrumpingwargaming007 in short, I think this points update is going to make the game more fun, for both me and my opponent.
I like the Attilan rules, I just hate the models.
oh!? i rather love them, but fair play
There are some 3d printed Krieg themed ones on motorcycles out there that look pretty nice. Less than half the price of GW models also.
Currently AdMec is balanced around costing over $2,000 and it's understandable the entire player base hates this. No one is arguing they can't win, just no one wants to take out a personal loan at the bank to play an army that is super unfun to transport, play, or acquire. Regardless of what they are capable of, they need to be redesigned from scratch to not be such a joke. Non interaction is what makes this game boring and AdMec is a movement phase only army. Insert Jesse Pinkman "He cant keep getting away with this!" meme.
hey the expense is something i am happy to protest with you!
