After reading a few comments I find it funny that a few weeks ago People got on Jimmy for using the CNC on the candle holder and the bandsaw stand and now people say why didn't you CNC this sign? WTF? Jimmy kills it in every medium with any tool!

I agree 100%. It matters not which method or tool Jimmy uses, the result is almost (no one's perfect!) always a joy to behold. And, while it's sad that the NY workshop is to be no more, it's a rare "company" that remains in the same premises forever. It would be far sadder if he was stopping doing stuff - he's only moving "house". ;-)

I just want to say that I prefer the videos of you hand crafting the letters and parts for a project more then watching a CNC router do its thing. I know manual buy hand stuff takes longer but not everyone has the amount of talent you have Mr. Diresta and that's what makes you unique and that was the reason I followed you in the first place. I'm not even 18 and I can program a CNC to make letters and shapes. I know how to use Solidworks and CAD very well but I don't even come close to the amount of perfection you have with a bandsaw.

Brilliant! This is the stuff we all love so much! Jimmy at his hand made bespoke best and not a computer machine stealing the jobs soul! Anybody can run a CNC but there is only one Diresta original. You don't need all that crap Jimmy, god gave you hands and the skills to use them that make all that stuff redundant. This is top notch creativeness and skills at their very best.

Wow Jimmy! there is so much here, you really did an amazing job... First lesson: the conservation of materials when making the backing board from strips and then when laying out the templates on the brass. Second lesson: You have to put in the work, all that bandsaw and coping... I got tired just thinking about what that looks like without the magic of youtube speed. Third lesson: Experience brings skills, You being able to eyeball the kerning and tracking on those letters... along a radius no less! Ridiculous!
I don't know if you sometimes feel like we don't see all the thought and effort that goes into your work, and sometimes you can make it look so easy that that is understandable but we do see it!
Make no mistake, this was a master class here kids by a true artist!
