Haven't picked up a chisel or hammer in over four years. Since I started watching your vids I can't stop sketching projects. This project is truly beautiful. I can nearly smell the saw dust from it. Keep bringing us these videos jimmy!!

12/1/23 0:02 Started off with a great way to get a flat reference point. This is one way to not need a jointer 0:50 I’ve always remembered you making framed pieces with the domino 1:22 the up down router trick 1:39 I notice you do trick to on the table saw for thin cuts across the insert 6:39 the wedging trick I’ve used this a lot to 8:04 full of little trick in the video. I really liked it back when you and David worked together a lot 15:43 I’ll never forget the stories you told about you and Dave installing

It makes it seem feasible to become a maker, like you, after decades of experience, especially when you build something this immaculate and so well thought out. Thank you so much for sharing your work, Jimmy. David, you should post more often on instagram love your stuff.

If there is anyone out there that combines creativity and craftsmanship the way that you do, I have yet to see yet. I don't usually comment, however when brilliance is achieved it must be recognized. We all marvel weekly I am sure at your ability to combine various mediums in to a project. What you have done here is well quite frankly left me speechless. You've done some pretty cool stuff, but this my friend is simply amazing. I'm sure you hear it all the time Jimmy, cause what you do is magical. But I know I speak for thousands when I say you are a true inspiration and original, and I know you make a lot of us better. Thank you sir for what you do and thank you for the positive impact you have had on my life. Perhaps one day our paths will cross and I can explain. Until then my friend take care and again...THANK YOU.

While I don't believe that a project has to be big to be impressive, I still find this to be one of your most impressive videos. The attention to detail, the combination of so many of your skills, and of course your artistic eye make for one amazing end product. On top of that, the assembly of the bar on location serves as a reminder of the hard work and versatility it takes to be a freelance artist. Amazing work Jimmy!
