11/28/23 I have watch this video so many times because of my passion for the bandsaw. It really is an awesome sign. The use of the jigsaw and the bandsaw combined. Along with some painting tricks and lights 🔥🔥🔥
This is the only UA-cam channel I can think of where I watch the same postings over again… I agree with the comment below that it is not likely you fully realize how much your postings are appreciated. Thanks Jimmy!
Two of my favorite things on you tube: Typography and Jimmy Diresta! You've made me want to get up and create with every single video. Never stop! Cheers!
I can't believe how insanely simple you make everything look Jimmy! I remember a woodwork project I had to do for school a while back and I made everything so complicated, and it took me forever to complete! I got a B in the end so it wasn't that bad! But you definitely have a gift and what you do is amazing!
Hi, Jimmy...definitely you are a Genius..not only because of you know..and the simplicity of your persons...Thanks again Jimmy..!!! Greetings from Argentine.! Steve.-
Jimmy you're the best in the business. I really like that you use different tools and techniques in your videos. Really impressive and inspiring for a rookie like me.
Thanks for the awesome video. Great, quick lesson on letter making when needed. You always seem to turn the most challenging tasks into easy, straight-to-it steps. Another homerun!
That was 8 minutes of pure awesome. I wondered what on earth you were doing with the letters at first, they looked awful and then when you drilled the holes it clicked and I knew the reason, turned out beautiful!
For having only a day to plan, gather materials, and fabricate something like that, you really made a work of art. That 2-tone paint scheme you did on the "Gin & Juice" text caught me by surprise :)
Thanks, bud. A new video showing up from you is like your Mama letting you dig out the prize in the bottom of the cereal box before your brothers get home from school.........,back in the before time.
Yet another amazing video!!! It's one thing to have amazing ideas but to be able to put them into practice one must visualize the outcome. You sir Jim are a genius another inspiring video!!
Great work as usual and I agree with the comment before, wishing we can see if fully mounted as im sure it'll look killer. Great colors and use of Christmas light. Top notch!
That is some fearless fly at 3:02. Thanks for this awesome video Jimmy! When I come to NY, can I stop by at your shop to shake your hand and buy you a beer?
I have been waiting for my Diresta moment since I haven't seen your video for weeks. You really made my day and I'm really impressed. Keep up the great work and I guess that bug on 3:02 got scared on your talent there, Jimmy!
Amazing Video once again. Stunning simple, perfect job done as aways. I love the trick of the foam under the board when cutting out the letters to save haveing to move clamping and muching around. Had to go have a G&T while watching it. Lol
When I use the jig saw to make those intricate cuts; first I grind the back of the blade a little to make it narrower so it can turn tighter and most importantly I round and polish the back of the blade so it will turn easily. Try it! You'll like it!
I just enjoy the crap out of these videos. But they also makes me want to buy more tools, and after following him for a few weeks on YT I can't seem to throw away the old scrap lumber and metal pieces I have propped up in the garage. All of Jimmy's work is excellent. I did have doubts tho watching him build that wedding invitation\card holder thing out of an old log. It looked like it would be too rough for a wedding environment but the finished product was kick ass. The man knows his stuff.
Hey Jimmy, I've seen all your videos, anything that I could find on youtube. I am curious about the use of your last name with stencils and such. When and why did you pick up this habit?
