One of my favorite tactics with Khone is making Skarbrand charge the enemy lord and using his ability to make enemy units having rage. It forces them to attack skarbrand and gives time to the rest of the army to progress. Skarbrand is tough enough to hold his own and if you have something to heal him you don't have to worry. By the time the rampage stops the rest of my army is almost on them and it s too late to shoot them 😈
It's a tactic that the AI Khorne also use as well. Rushing the frontline first with Skarbrand and focusing your lord only to use the "rage" skill so that you can't make your lord run away from fighting him. It's indeed effective to screw up things if the opponent lord is a squishy one.
Thanks man. CA just needs some time for whatever they're doing. Everyone just wants everything right now and it kinda destroys whole communities. We're spoiled :|
I dont know why this video didn't do so well, because personally I loved it. Keep up the amazing work that you provide so regularly to us, really enjoy your content.
Please do the part2 for all the other factions too, I am pretty new in multiplayer and would rely heavily on your insights. Thanks! 😊 btw love your videos, found you about 4 years ago and been following ever since! The other great type of videos I liked are the tactics playlist, all of them are peak. Would really like to see some reviews of gameplays, especially when the player won against the odds. Thanks again
Ah, finally .. the second part! Nice Strategem. Khorne really plays as in the old times on Tabletop. And the same tactics and weaknesses. Looking forward to the other factions. :-)
In early game i used blood letters as my main killing force with warrior of chaos as the holding force… skarbrand alone makes up for most of the enemies killed. Khorne imo is very powerful in this game and pretty much can take out any other army
Khorne is absolutely brutal when you play as Daniel. He can reduce the upkeep by 15% plus the additional 10% from the normal undivided or even cheaper with the khorne route. With Dan, you swim in money anyway, so getting some big khorne armies doesn't drain your cash. Plus, you can get spellcasters! Daemon Prince is the one and only reason why I still play WH3 to this day. Sheer ammount of mixing and trying out armies full of units from 4 different Gods is pure fun!
I finished a campaign with the Daemon Prince after the patch and he is significantly better now. I don't think he should be stronger than how he is right now because he already provides massive bonuses with the dedication to gods. I agree this is one of the most fun faction to play, the only "issue" is the starting location that can be a bit annoying. You can have some crazy armies because of the big roster. Having access to Nurgle's healing magic for example and other things often make armies much stronger than in their original faction.
@@aldirnila6215 Yes, the starting location is the hardest. Daniel can really get going once he has a good basic foundation. Kislev are a tough faction to face in the beginning. But once you beat them and get really going, you are just gonna dominate everyone. And money will not be an issue to as Dan only needs one type of the higher grade buildings for the top tier units. Rushing chaos undivided would work the best for the 1 turn global recruitment.
The flying unit landing bug is infuriating since you're just getting randomly fucked over trying to use one of your three lord choices. It's infuriating having to babysit a bloodthirster making sure it touches down correctly while your opponent is free to shoot it while it does its stupid little flappy dance.
It's not just flying units Lords and single entities have a really, REALLY hard time moving through OWN allied troops. Let's not even start about the clumping up of allied troops when trying to kill routing troops
Just make the bloodthirsters walk Being able to fly is completely pointless on an melee monster At least dragons have breath attacks and even they are better just diving down and getting close and personal Being able to fly is literally a downgrade compared to Skarbrand
Khorne cultist and khorne halberds are extremely underrated. I find halberds can hold up a good fight against most infantry like armored kossars and can still be utilized for anti large roles. Khorne cultist can outduel a lot of lords and heroes while having a bloodletter summon in his pocket to get into back lines. Other than that, i think this guide is spot on!
Personally, I like doing Chaos Warrior heavy armies for their staying power. I use them to get the enemies to clump up and then I send in Skarby. I let him do all the work.
good vid and by the way thank you for your siege tactic video, i´ve been using it 3-4 times already and it saves so much time and units ! And i enjoy so much going "commando" ;)
I think they're going to struggle against skaven. Well, almost all of the demons will because they have lots of cheap ranged units that don't have AP, but they don't really need it to take out demons. I think that the Beastmen are going to have horrible matchups against all of the Daemon factions. They're not faster than Slanesh, they don't have armor, they have low leadership...then again, they don't need AP or armor bc Daemons don't have armor and all of their magic damage and AP doesn't really make a difference.
@@CharliMorganMusic Beastmen have vanguard deployment and a lot of speed. They will be very strong against Tzeeentch . Jybersliths will give Khorne a hard time too
Pretty much. I normally play order ranged factions so it was nice not having to constantly worry about getting flanked but by turn 50 just holding W at the enemy starts to get a bit dull
yesss this is what i wanted, their strength and weakness and tactics this is what i wanted to know and the first parts don't tell me anything like that.
Between army ability summons, cultist summons and Skarbrand charging ahead, breaking through the lines to go straight for the lord I don't think there's much of a need to tie down archers early on in Campaign
I love using exalted blood letters against kislev because kislev won’t route due to their faction abilities and one on one the blood letters will wipe all their infantry, get their hellblades and have taken little dmg in the process with their physical resist of 30 with rank 7 buff.
11:35 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂 Are you kidding me? When you play Khorne you usually have atleast one bloodhost army with you, so you basically always outnumber your enemies.
Every faction feels like they are missing basic units that will be added in dlc. Khorne needs more cheap chaff units like cultists or other cheap large unit shielded unit that can just act like a meat shield. I also wish they have like a blood magic like dawi have rune system. just give them something besides no magic. the fact that khorne is viable without magic is insane.
Is it just me or are bloodletters the better choice for your main army during most of the Campaign? They do more damage than warriors, are faster, and most enemies are daemons and therefore have physical resistance. Warriors are only really good for cheap defese units and against non-daemon factions.
Heroes + Bloodthirsters and if you are feeling trendy Bloodcrushers. Once you have access to Bloodthirsters all other units are obsolete in campaign and do not perform as well as Bloodthirsters. I have tried all the combos and none win as easily as a Bloodthirster doomstack with maybe Bloodcrushers to kill infantry. Skullcanon shooting down single entities lol. I have seen 3 skullcanons shoot at a dragon and miss all their shots , it got into combat at full HP and the skullcanons had used half their ammo. The worst unit I have ever seen in this game. The only reason this video is relevant for campaign is because you rely so heavily on Bloodhosts and they spawn with every unit in the roster. Being able to swarm over the entire Soulrace map in just over 100 turns with half upkeep armies that cost nothing to make of course works and makes Khorne super OP in campaign. Will be interesting to see how fast a player can turn the map red in Immortal Empires with the Bloodhost swarm tactic.
I play mostly ranged order factions so khorne was a nice breathe of fresh air. But yes I agree just holding W without any thought does start to get old around turn 50

yeah, make em shoot themselves and then get trampled by the rest of your takers of skulls. Kill 4 Khorne n stuff
Also he looks like a red Cookie Monster.
I'm so hyped for immortal empires.
I remember that warhammer 2 was also quite bare bones when it released. I still have high hopes for tw3.

Oh man I've been waiting for all of the part 2 videos!
Can't wait for step 2 or nurgle guide!

"Make sure you get a Bloodthirster that know how to LAND !" Skarbrand is GREAT at landing ! Just ask the right side of his face...
Khorne is absolutely brutal when you play as Daniel. He can reduce the upkeep by 15% plus the additional 10% from the normal undivided or even cheaper with the khorne route. Did the new patch re balance the weapons? He was really weak pre patch and haven’t jumped back in
@@mannyfresh7065 the patch buffed him. he isnstill not amazing but he is better and actually worth doing now ( in my opinion )

Good video, but I kind of missed the examples of army compositions that you used to make for these guides
Weakness: Can't use magic.
Strengths: Doesn't need magic.
Khorne cultist and khorne halberds are extremely underrated. I find halberds can hold up a good fight against most infantry like armored kossars and can still be utilized for anti large roles. Khorne versus Ogre Kingdoms is a show every time.
I see Khorne I press like,
It's as simple as that.
Fantastic video introduction! Amazing work thanks looking forward to to the other factions!
Great job, as always. It would be great to see if the new units added in the latest DLC would make any difference to this guide
Personally, I like doing Chaos Warrior heavy armies for their staying power. I use them to get the enemies to clump up and then I send in Skarby. I let him do all the work.

Very strong and stable in domination. Khorne will have no problem dealing with older factions when they are added.
Land battles is a different story

Khorne strategy- group + right click enemy

1:26 omg 😆😆
I've seen someone mention that if the enemies are bunched up, you can have Skarbrand charge into one through another, so he tramples over both.
Between army ability summons, cultist summons and Skarbrand charging ahead, breaking through the lines to go straight for the lord I don't think there's much of a need to tie down archers early on in Campaign
very good guide
When you going to do the rest of the factions?

BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD
SKULLS FOR HIS THRONE
Great video
When i start the game as khorne i like to restart the 1st battle until i get the cast fireball item so at least i can have some magic
9:49 I dunno man, that bloodthirster flexes on skarbrand Imo.
Man i wish warhammer II factions had these guides.
Thoroughly enjoyed the Will Smith reference
Minotaur death roll has to be the best charge attack in the game
11:35 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂 Are you kidding me? When you play Khorne you usually have atleast one bloodhost army with you, so you basically always outnumber your enemies.
Will forcing the Khornate Soul Grinder to walk get more shots off before melee engagement?
3:50: My front loins are disgusting too, when are you going to make a video about that?
army expense doesnt really effect campaign for khorne imo specially if ur doing it right
SIR WEVE SURROUNDED THEM
captain u do realize were fighting khorne i dont think they particularly care

BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!
Khorne doesn't do cheap or weak. With him it's either go big or go home.
Khorne is The Empire or Lothern of WH3. Not Kislev.
I just realised that Khorne minotaurs are Gorebulls, not regular Beastmen minos.
Weaknessess:
1. Doom guy
2.
I need Tzeentch army guid plz

I miss game 2
It still exists, you can go back and play it
Heck yeah. Now I wanna know if flyer spam using furies and Bloodthirsters is gonna be a bit meta lmaooooo

Khorne? Corn? Korn!!!
Nurgle.
i was POSITIV i was subbed to your channel but i had to re sub when clicked this vid so weird
I was hoping for campaign guides, not battle . Never even thought of unit guides this late after release.
yeah, if you want campaign guides, you gotta look elsewhere. Zerk only does battle and unit stuff in his guides.
