I love how CA makes all the units look insane, but for the sake of balance give unrealistic stats. Yes, the cultist of Khorne with an axe, the size of a beach ball, does not have armor piercing damage... xD

Glad to see the Khorne Waddafukisdiss is sporting some nice stats. Feel like it's good that Khorne has one ranged option just to give armies something to do during the initial "walk at each other with malicious intent" phase of the battle.
Cue the cynics shouting "but the WOC have the Hell Cannon and their faction sucks so how how will this faction be any different?!"

If Valkia the Bloody comes out tomorrow she'll have access to the exact same unit, not to mention generic Exalted bloodletters and bloodthirsters leading their own armies. Hence I attribute it to Khorne, not skarbrand.
Feels like you're just trying to measure warhammer lore dicks but missed the entire point of the comment.
I like how Skarbrand doesn't have that anti spell ability since he is exiled and not favoured by Khorne (and for balance reasons, of course).
Does that ability work on runic magic?
Multiplayer in a nutshell:
Khorne: "Oh, you're approaching me? Instead of running away you're coming right to me?"
Also Khorne: "I can't beat the shit out of you without getting closer."
In campaign the cultist can also summon a full on bloodthirster when leveled up enough along with being able to summon 2 uses of summoning bloodletters
Also the Herald of Khone is the precursor to and Exlalted Bloodthirster; after a Herald gets a high enough rank you get the option to sacrifice it for a Greater Demon Lord, which is the case for nearly all Chaos factions (just replace "Greater Demon" with "Demon Prince" for the WoC)
Blood for the blood god! Skulls for the skull throne!

I think when this game comes out, we should make a mod that puts the Doom music in for the Khorne faction's battles in game.

Who is the Doomslayer then to counter them?

Glad to see this series reborn! Being able to see all stats and abilities in a clear way is such a big help to start planning my first khorne campaign army strategies, but, for future guides, can you show how the different mount options will affect stats? Such a pity it was left out :(

For all who are confused about the low weapon strenght for the single entities or the low health, I believe it's because of the unit scale because the showcase is not on ultra. But please correct me if I'm wrong about that.
In Warhammer2 the weapon strength doesn't change with unit scale.
@@rubz1390maybe they want to ballance single enteties a bit more. For example the Herald of Khorne had 400 Weapon Strength in other videos i've seen so far so i believe it goes down 25% for every unit scale. Same thing with the hp.

Your English is fine, everyone understood. For your question they changed how single entity scaling works for TWWH3, we are not sure how exactly yet. Also why do you think the weapon strength is low? The soul grinder has 376ap and it comes with a ranged weapon as well while the Bloodthirster is 360ap with an anti large bonus. It seems fine to me?
@@mchunter2266 Well, I believe most double unit size mods add 2x units, 2x single entity hp and 1.5x for melee def and attack which make sense, especially cause wh3 doesnt have matched combat, so more units are hitting at the same time

Pretty awesome but I’d love to see some Chosen for Khorne. My hope is they are redesigning the models to be released as DLC/FLC later on.

I like the realistic weapon proportions for these Chaos Warriors
Hmm I see stats on some single entity units had to change since the last time Zerkovich went over these units. Bloodthirster weapon damage used to be 480 ap with an unknown bonus vs large now its 360 ap with an unknown bonus vs large....or does weapon damage scale with unit size now I wonder?

I heard (haven’t confirmed) that when Scarbrand attempted to betray Khorne he was thrown out of his realm with such force that his wings burned up (why he can’t fly) and impacted the ground face first leaving a huge crater and scaring his face and breaking his horns. I kind of thought he looked a little rarded until I heard that. Now he is my favourite character

I really like flesh hounds. They can catch and do surprisingly good against chariots (especially ranged chariots) if they encircle an enemy hero they will rip them to shreds because so many models can attack it at once

Zerk I would love to see army guides for every faction in IE. I know it is a huge ask but those videos will then be the go-to resource online for each faction, since there is a void for that content right now.
Zerk, an idea if you get time, you should take down and reupload your old army guides, some of the older ones are quite hard to watch with the images just being the battle select screen, and most lack the dlc units. (This is suggested because I love your guides, they practically taught me how to play the game and it’s a real pain finding three different videos for a faction). Also, keep up the good work!

Khorne canonically hates magic because it's dishonorable, so we probably won't be seeing any khorne spells.

i think you missed out the important thing with the flesh hounds (magic attack and I believe they have 50% magic resistance so they sound like a cheap anti etherial unit to me)
That artillery piece: 12 ammo seems like it'd be a pretty desirable unit in multiplayer. You can let it fire at whatever is valuable, shoot away ~ 2/3 of that units health and then head into melee to recharge ammo. In most situations it doesn't make much sense to try and charge it down in a lot of situations (especially when supported by chaos halberds) so it could be a reliable piece.
I do wish we'd gotten gorebeasts sans chariot as a monstrous infantry (?) unit.

Completely unrelated to the video but whenever I see Skarbrand and half of Khornes army. I cant get over how they hold axes. They are sacrificing so much leverage to hold it so close to the head.
I think Khorne will be the first faction i play as. They are too cool!

its nice that minotaur's get the credit they deserve by khorne and get to be considered proper units, they're creatures of unending destruction and bloodshed it was always weird that they never got much love in being in actual khorne armies.
the soul grinder, with it's 75 speed, could almost count as skirmish cav hahaha (shades have about the same range if I recall)

Any chance that once Immortal Empires comes out, you will be remastering some of the older faction roster videos? (Like Empire) The way you do the close-ups in these videos while explaining the units is awesome, would love to see them the same way, and how they stack up in the final game! (I know some older factions have close-ups like Vamp Coast, just would be really cool to see all of them :) )
I'm not convinced about using the skull cannon & soul grinder against flying unit. It seems to me you mention it more as a "well it's the only ranged option that can hit flying unit" rather than "it's an effective solution against flying unit". They are single projectile, so in multi-player it won't hit single entity moving around, and may miss monstruous flying infantry at some ranges.
Wouldn't a bloodthirter with a single unit of harpy be able to do a better job at taking care of flying monsters ? The harpy are a bonus/bait if the speed of the bloodthirster is lacking.

I have a mental image of the Cultist of Khorne looking in the mirror at the hairdressers and saying "Well it's not *quite* what I was after..".
It'll be an absolute struggle to get all my Khorne units painted painted before the game launches. Gotta paint the start collecting box and a Bloodthirster

The Khorne Chaos Furies are interesting, as most flyers are high on defense and low on offense, to just tarpit the archers or artillery, these are the opposite, so makes me wonder the difference in play.

Harpies are the same though? High melee attack and weapon strength with garbo melee defence.

Khorne is the less original of the 4 chaos gods to me but I must admit those units are pretty neat.
Still I intend to start a campaign with the Chaos undivided.
Custom your own Demon-Prince is an argument I can't ignore.
You said it perfectly, although I favour Nurgle and Slaanesh, so.picking my first LL will be tough. The undivided DP gives access to all units, so probably the best choice to atart with.
Can you do this kind of video for the other factions?

You should add the word codex to your army guides mate, so Codex army guide. People that know warhammer will see that and go to your channel, and it can't be copyrighted because it's an ancient Greek word that means old book. heh. Cheers for the vid. I noticed that territories are on the map, such as Karls capitol, where Wulfrik and Throgg are, and others from game 1 and 2. Does that mean they will be NPCs on the map from launch? I understand if you cant answer due to embargo's but if you CAN answer, I am really curious, because that would be a MUCH more lively campaign! Generic rulers are boring.
Curious about how larger units no longer have fear. Does that mean they don't decrease leadership anymore or is fear just imbedded into terror?
I think the latter, in tabletop terror has always been a stronger verion of fear, it might have been redundant to keep them both
