- Found a new cave to checkout! This one seemed to be the perfect spot to fish as it had the calmest water right down from it.
All around was way too rough. You'll notice a few more caves in the drone footage. Might have to go check them out also when it's calm enough. They look incredible to explore. Also need to try this spot again, I'm sure it can produce better results next time

@@lutomson3496either way...get out or not. What gido does with filming AND fishing is alot of work. There are many people that physically cannot get out. So they have to live vicariously. Dont jump to conclusions.

Gido, I keep forgetting it's winter for you. Right now where I am it was 90 degrees F today. Heat index was up into heat stroke temperatures. I did manage to get my fly line wet tonight. That was a neat video even though the weather was a big hinderence. Your pictures are always the best.
Haven't watched this yet. I live on this coast and I can't believe that Gido has even thought about getting outside. The weather has been unusually wet and windy for June. We have had some truly wild swell and sea conditions recently: 8 metres just a few minutes from where I live (around the Gap in Torndirrup National Park). Went and had a look, it was like a war zone, massive spray reaching easily to 100 foot high. AWESOME!

Fishing in the rain is fun brother. It's rainy season in India. Yesterday I went for hand line fishing, cought a bunch of poison barbed catfish. Tasty little buggers 😁😁

Must admit that I always had good fish results in the rain. Great cave spot, testament to some hard climbing on your part Gido 😮.
You were looking for firewood, I always take a small plastic empty mayonnaise bottle fill it half way with charcoal fluid, then fill the bottle with charcoal. Then you will have 8 dry charcoal as extra fuel. Works very well, and light weight.
Who else could go fishing in that spectacular spot? 👏👏👏 ❤

Went fishing for two hours in the surf off my beach in the Philippines. Didn’t catch a thing. My friend did though. I came out of the surf completely knackered, but it was still one the great days! Fishing is like that; don’t catch anything but still have fun trying. Truth be told I don’t miss the cold weather of Montana one bit. Lovely video from the drone. Dinner looked great too.

Honestly my favorite time of year on the south coast
The cliffs and caves would make an awesome home. Wall off the entrance add some windows tough enough to withstand the waves. Level the floor of the cave with some concrete and jackhammer here and there. Build a deck outside so you can fish right there and you'd never need to leave.
It would be terrifying in a big storm, you be hoping you built it strong enough. We get 10m swells at times. 5-7m pretty common. That day was 2-2.5m
But yes it would be amazing if you could and the ocean wasn’t too rough

Love it Gido , Dam awesome coast line Your probably the frst person to ever hang out fishing and cooking n that cave eva- That water colour and depth in close right up to the cliff s the same as back home on Norfolk Island . Mesmerizing stuff - how can you not rever such awesome environments a? I reckon a 9/0 hook with either the kahwai head on it or 1/2 of one of its fillets as a bait flung out deep -would have grabbed the eye of one of your resident groper dogs - go big they have massive gobs.-Love your abilites man - Wild -Extreme-Free.
