While I was watching this my mom peeked over my shoulder and asked (referring to Simon): "Is that one homeless?" Bahahaha! I said at well over 100K subs I doubt it. He paid a lot of money for all his gear just to look like it though. *edit* Naturally this was all said with love. 💞 I love you both, and now Mom does too!
I loved the bloopers at the end, made my day, it’s been a very hard week. My partner of 20 years and my best friend and only family is dying and he refuses to get help to add a few more years to his life
Seasoned campers always clear up when done,,leaving the area better than when they arrived! Thank you for respecting the wild woodlands! A great little cave trip!
I'm not sure it's "normal" for two random strangers on the other side of the planet to make me so happy on any given day they post a video of their adventures. There's no adrenaline, no massive crazy accomplishments, just happy. Thanks for years now, of smiles and joy. You guys are seriously the best!
I live in the United States , and am 74 and have done a ton of canning throughout my years , and have never seen such a beautiful pressure cooker . That thing is absolutely gorgeous , l love it!
Thank you to whoever owns that land, all of us really appreciate you letting them camp there. Also what an awesome spot, plus all the history it's really amazing.
Loved the bloopers too! Perhaps something to consider for the next time you’re out together? That said I do get some odd looks laughing out loud on the train at 7AM 🤣🍻
Oh sheesh ! Lolol pressure cooker chicken !!! A kegger of beer !!! Historic Setting !! The silence and groans of biscuits and sausage gravy !!! Beautiful guys ... just wonderful !
I love the collaborations between you two, you can see how relaxed and comfortable you are around each other. This one was a real Halloween treat. Just the right combination of spooky and cozy..and that chicken looked delish! Thanks, lads!
Always love & enjoy your videos 😊 i discovered you a few months ago (2024) and started binge watching your videos. I have to say that the bloopers are refreshing 😌. It's nice to see the contrast from your regular videos because your editing and production are typically flawless. Its easy to forget or lose sight of the amout of work or "takes" you have to take to get the right shot. Thank you for posting such wholesome and authentic content! You inspire me (and probably many others) to try new things and enjoy life. Cheers! - from Bc, Canada :)
Ahahahhaaa! The trailcam shot was a hoot!!!!! And so were the bloopers at the end. Always fun seeing you and Simon do a camp together. Thanks for sharing! Cheers Andy!
Tips on making American breakfast biscuits: My grandmother taught me to use a straight sided cutter and not to twist it. That avoids sealing the edges and allows the biscuits to rise higher and lighter. My mother-in-law, instead of rolling and cutting her biscuits, would pinch off a piece of the dough and pat it out on the side of the bowl, forming a biscuit shape. They didn’t rise super high, but she got them done quickly and easily.
Andy - you also have a talent for presenting and describing history, please do more of these if you manage to get access to sites that have a story! Absolutely loved it. Cheers.
Youre both soo welcome!!! It was so great to meet you both, you're both incredible! Food looked amazing and the cave lit up so well, it's always so beautiful up there! So glad you took my advice of the bloopers I was wetting myself 😂😂😂 looking forward to seeing you again 🥰
Love the candlelight ambience! Good to see guys who pack heavier than I do, I don't even make room in my SUV for a lantern, let alone on a backpack. And the pressure cooker -- wow, so cool! Thanks, again, Andy (and Simon) for another opportunity to glamp vicariously in the English countryside.
Must be nice to have the easiest camping in the known world. Lets recap, shall we? You got the Magic stump, Tiggy the friendly camp dog, now you have semi-furnished caves, you get to have actual camp fires, no predators, and, everything is at sea level. You and Simon are officially invited to Colorado.
I'm a life long vegetarian and that chicken looked amazing even to me. and the biscuits and gravy. What a fun trip. May you make YT videos together for decades in the future.
Andy and Simon you are both so great to watch! Keep up the good work! Be good to see some behind the scenes, how you film, equipment you use and what challenges you have when you do. Thanks for great content x
Andy, you and Simon get along so well… it’s just fun to watch how you guys interact with each other… and Simon you come up in the world, a pressure cooker…omg.. .. 1/2 a chicken? … “Eatin’ Good in the Neighborhood “,,, tonight! Great job guys… it’s so relaxing to watch your camping trips and this one has some history… very cool!
Brilliant!! Beautiful spot for a camp. Loved the bloopers, cracked me up! You two are living the good life. Look forward to videos from both of you, bloody great stuff...
Both those meals looked amazing. I love it when you get out there with Simon. You guys do the best outdoors cooking/camping/bushcraft i have seen yet. Thanks for all the content!
Wow Andy and Simon, that has to be the most unique place you two have ended up at to date :-) Loved the scene set when candles and lanterns lit, looked very warm and cosy with the fire roaring and you two tucking into the Chicken, fabulous stuff. Will repeat this post on Simon's channel too. Take care guys.
Great video as always Andy, love the bloopers at the end. Just goes to show how many takes you need to get the right shot. Lovely spot.. those enormous cans of beer 😲
Just trying to analyse why I love your videos so much. Apart from your charm and the cooking, I'm impressed with your photography. The tree trunk at the beginning looks like some giant prehistoric reptile (with extra legs). Great angle. The moon shot, and dripping candle wax, super atmospheric. What a wonderful opportunity to stay in that amazing place, and to think about the last family who actually lived there. Bang up job. Thank you.
I just stumbled across this video today. What an excellent cooker! I looked for it online and found that exact cooker on ebay. Found another one that's not exactly the same, but less expensive on Amazon. I do love your videos! I watch all the time. This one was from a while ago, but I missed it somehow. Thanks!
This was brilliant! How fascinating to have that cave! So good you guys could use it for a video. The ambience with candlelight was perfect. Really enjoyed this in all aspects - and the bloopers were a great final touch lol. Keep up the amazing work Andy! :)
So nice to see a difference in style and area for your camp. Keep it coming and keep the channel alive! We love woodlands mate but take us only where you can go!
Andy, this video is a couple a years old, now, so, you may not read this. However, I appreciate the show and explanation of the rock house. You always share new and exciting gear too. You and the Diss chrome dome that never lifts his hat above his eyebrows put on a great adventure. Y’all bring along some mighty fine eats…ummm! Thank you for sharing this…from the US, east Tennessee.
Brilliant vlog. Love it how Simon eats holding his plate and using a wooden spoon. Andy uses a knife and fork with plate on his lap. Both vlogs superb, great stuff!! Looking forward to future vlogs with you both.
Awesome video with Andy and Simon, that meal Simon cooked looks awesome , Andy thanks for amazing video with Simon cheers to both of you for a fantastic video 🍺👍👏
Nice to see you two out having fun again and into the forest to a very special place from the past ,food is always the best ,start of winter here in Northern Canada ,but still getting out in the bush ,thanks for an awesome video 🇨🇦
Is it me or do other people think it would be so cool to see Kent fix the add on all back up. I would imagine the owners would be totally ok with that. Try & repair it to get original to what it was back when. All natural materials. Kent you have done some amazing shelters using natural materials. This is be a really cool series. ♥️
I was watching Simon's version and I think I said to myself "plop" about five seconds before he did as that chicken hit the pot. Such an epic camp out, though that word is so over used. It still fits.
That saw is like a hot knife through butter and the pressure cooker looks amazing and I’m defo loving the Litre Beer cans haha great video mate, thank you!!
Watched your videos for a while now but still old new popping up. But the way simon jumped out just reminded me of camping with Steve and crazy neighbour god rest his soul
Watching Simon and Adam hold those crazy big cans of beer around a good fire... I couldn't help but think how impressed Hobbits would be if they saw those, and would probably be a little jealous too - lol! 😜
Was fun as it always is with you two! I mentioned on Simon's version that you could do a great truck camp collaboration so people who are thinking about maybe trying it one day would see a good wide overview of how they might go about it. Given you have totally different approaches it could be very useful indeed. Not seen anything like that before, but maybe I was not looking in the right place Be well Andy, it was good to see this one.
Another great video, Andy. I'm new to your videos and have been binge watching them now for a few weeks. I'm from Kent myself and love seeing kentish woods. I used to love to go camping when I was younger, but unfortunately, I'm now disabled and would struggle
Loved this episode Really enjoy watching these Andy U r a true gent I'm sitting in the hospital bed and watching this has made me smile All the best to u xxx U r living ur best life...
I've always wanted to live in a cage, or a lonely lighthouse, somewhere off grid and far from the madding crowds. You made that cave look beautiful and cozy with the candles.
Nice one Andy, that’s was great stuff and such a lovely place to spend a night, awsome food and that was practically a keg of beer 🍺 each 😂 Love the bloopers at the end 😂😂👏🏻👏🏻
Happy Halloween Andy that was perfect setting for a spooky camp. I am so glad you put the out takes in it was so funny. You two always have a good time. Take care.
Andy....when you cut the biscuits cut them straight down and don't twist. Not even a bit. When you twist you seal the edges of the biscuit and they won't spring up as much when they first go in the hot oven.
15:33- they really do make y'all look like tiny people. Especially if you pause it.😅 My two favorite bushcraft channels back together. Thanks Andy and Simone.

Yes,looks like an antique. Would like some more info on it. @@robinmitchell4721
