Never take safety lightly when you're in the wilderness🔥I broke several of my own rules, so I have no excuses for what happened. Share a wilderness preparedness tip below. You never know who you might help with it someday :)
yes sir you are the best
god bless
Just a thought, but you might want to consider putting off road tires on your truck, they’d be a lot better than the street tires.
Love your vids and energy
You definitely need tractions boards as well. There’s plenty of off-road or snow related truck gear you need
Leif, I am a career military man and I have eaten my fair share of MREs. I can tell you first hand that the heaters don't always work, but when they do, it's a game changer. You do have to exhibit a little more patience than what I saw in this video and I can show you how to do it. Firstly, don't put more water than is needed as you did. Secondly, and this is where the patience comes in, place the MRE and the heater in the same compartment that the meal came in with the heater on the bottom. Lastly, lean it against a rock on an angle and let the heater vent. Go catch a trout and in 20 minutes, you'll have a meal and a great story to share!
If the heater doesnt work and you have a way to boil water, you can always just leave the food pouch in simmering water for a bit to heat it
Also the crackers are best crushed in the pasta!
Next time you get stuck in the snow try your car mats under the tires.
Like wtf. Did he special order all the best mres. When I was in that shit was hit or miss mainly they were horrible tho🤣🤣and wtf if this crap. Mint peppermint ring. Tf kinda robbery is that. Kinda mad about that😢😢
Lean it against a rock * or something *
Love your transparency and humility to post thr tough experiences! Enjoyed the video
Definitely a humbling experience! Hope it can help someone out. Definitely going to work on my vehicle self recovery skills!
Can’t wait to fully watch this leif. I was the guy who sent you the coffee and salt last year. Just wanted some advice from you or any European who moved to America and all I wanted to know is was it hard to do in the way of leaving your family but also getting a citizenship or green card. Fish on baby ❤❤❤
Hey!! Thank you so much for sending that. I just enjoyed the last of the coffee this winter!! ☕️ And I was born in the US so had US citizenship even though I lived in Germany my whole life. When we moved here I remember things being a lot tougher for my mom. She's Danish and got an H1B visa I believe. It's a worker's visa. But it took several years of applying and you need a company in the US that wants to hire you. It's totally possible, you just need to want it enough. From there, you apply for a Green Card, then citizenship. Hope that helps!!
just cross the border with Mexico. they'll fly you where ever you want to go and give you free cash and phones.
@@NWFishingSecrets Thankyou so much for the help. Your the best man
Hey there, just wanted to give you my 2 cents. I'm born/raised here, but my fiance is from the Philippines and I have friends from Portugal, France, Germany...etc. Getting a green card has been extremely difficult for all of them, sadly. What makes it more difficult is once you're approved, you most likely will get on a wait list, and then at that point you can't leave the country because you would be in limbo between visa and greencard.
@@MrFowl Thankyou very much for that information you don’t know how much that helped. I’m Irish and although I’m only 15 I’ve been wanting to live in America all my life. So whatever info I get really really helps. Thankyou again
Glad you made it out safe man. I think it’s time to outfit the truck as an overland rig. Small lift, bigger better tires, recovery gear (winch, traction boards, tow ropes, onboard air, SHOVEL)
Specifically some Goodyear duratracs, easily the best tire in the snow 🔥
Nothing is better than a new episode after a long days work ! Thanks NWFishingSecrets!
Enjoy!! 🎣
You should be really proud of yourself for taking on the farm project with everything that goes in to it - and still making excellent stuff for us to watch every week. Kudos, L.
Thank you, it definitely feels like I bite off too much sometimes but there's so much I want to learn and do haha!
@@NWFishingSecrets I know you can do it! And asking for a bit of help never hurt anyone. ;-)
Man I’ve been in the hospital this brings me some happiness finally.
Get well soon 💪🏻
@@syedwasi4078 thanks 😊
Wishing you a steady recovery! I'll keep the adventures coming for you 🎣
@@NWFishingSecrets thanks 😊
I'm in the hospital right now, seeing Leif's newest video really lifted my outdoor spirits. Thank you Leif NWFS
I love how you were straight up and honest about making a simple mistake that had a big impact honesty goes a long ways lots of respect for you Leif stay safe
I think this proved what all of the experts always say: a combination of several mistakes can lead to disaster. Leif learned a lesson. (I would also reccommend that when alone, do not go walking on branches & logs above water. One slip and you can land in the water, or twist/break an ankle, even hit your head. If you are alone, that might be all she wrote. seemed like Leif was trying to force it a bit, in order to find the fish).
SOOOOO PUMPED. Thank you for making my Friday. Now to enjoy this video
Enjoy and happy weekend!! 🎣
You know what I would like to see?
A background story of Lief introducing himself.
I been watching NWFS for the past few years and I have gathered that.
He loves shooting.
He loves wearing that OCP Boonie.
He has gotten a hold of MRE's.
Grew up in Germany.
Outdoor survival expert and advice.
My question would be.
Are you veteran? Did you serve in the Military? Have family that's in the Military?
Love your work Lief! Keep it up! Learned lots from you!
I got in from work and watched this. Bro you are one of my favorites. Fish on baby.
Have a great evening! Fish on baby! 🎣
Fish on baby. Loving the uploads! Much appreciated boss
Thanks for enjoying! Fish on baby! 🎣
Honestly the only fishing UA-camr I can watch all day!
Dude you didn’t let any air out of those tires. Take them to 10 psi next time. You can drive free way on 10. When you make it back to civilization air back up. Air pressure is everything off-roading
Wow what a great lesson and reminder for me and my boys! Thank you for being humble enough to share this and let others learn from your mistakes! It might save someone’s life one day😊
the second you mentioned the pouch i paused and order it. Super happy to try it out and support more of your videos!
So much respect for you being a real man. Educating all the time, on top of everything else.
The great entertainment and knowledge on top of being completely honest.
Your vids..... ❤
Great episode as always man! Most of us have been there if you go off road. Thanks for sharing. Cheers 🍻
Great video again Lief. A few things… 1: next time, air your tires down to about 10 PSI which helps greatly in snow. You can always put air back in the tires at the gas station. 2: Build a base for your fire with some bark or more sticks. It will help keep the fire out of the snow and push the heat up.
Great Episode as always! Unlucky that you didn’t catch any fish but that makes sense because the lake was still ice/sluched over halfway! I wanted to know what you would recommend for lingcod fishing? I’m going to Oregon for my spring break and I’m gonna try to catch my first ever lingcod so any tips are appreciated! 🎣🎣🎣
Their heads were probably in the water so they could easily grab small creatures swimming around
hopefully im in indonesia the tropical country😂so this it will never happen to me😅 let's go for the another mountain survival mission 🔥
My guess is that the trout are in resting mode, and not looking for food whatsoever. They're conserving their energy and living off what they stored up. This also means that any fish you did catch would probably, sadly, be pretty lethargic and not super flavorful.
If your car ever gets stuck air the tires down for more surface area and use your floor mats for traction if you have nothing
Chains, come-along with extra cable, shovel, handyman jack, jack stands with small pieces of plywood, sleeping bag, food, lighter, newspaper, tool kit, full-size spare tire, tire inflator, warm clothes, water and filter, bow saw or chain saw. Seems like a lot but we have had to use each and everyone over the years. I am sure other fans will have more to add, too. Thanks for sharing another fun adventure!
That is an absolutely solid list of items... Will be sure to share some of those! 🎣
Kitty litter is another great thing to keep with you, just throw it in a toolbox or keep it in a watertight bag in the bed of the truck. Helps in place of finding gravel for traction. I use rigid molle panels mounted to the back of my seats w/ flashlight mounts, radio mounts, first aid, etc. But also keep a decent LiFePO4 battery charged up in the truck. Works great, and I just keep one always in the truck, overkill for just cell phones but I keep a 300wh battery with me because you can charge a tire inflator or jumpbox with it.
@@vaerontv The unscented clay kitty litter, that is. It also is good for ice on steps.
@@Pernoctateabsolutely, sorry should have clarified.
Show mano, show.
Suas pescaria, na verdade suas aventuras são inspiração mano
If your gonna be doing this kind of stuff you shouod do at least a 3 inch lift on your truck, bigger better tires, put lockers in it, and absolutley put a winch on the thing, even without all the other stuff if you had a winch on it you wouod been out no prob
You did a great job at marking off all the stuff not do.LoL😉. Id add snow chains(the real ones like truckers use) and a pair of snow ramps to put under the tires. Extra fuel. Btw i was hoping you would be able to make some of your awsome trout tacos. Maybe next time.
Dude,if your gonna go off road like this, those street slick tires obviously won't do shit where you are.get some big meaty tires with teeth treads!!
Wellll I lost my streak of being the first one to comment
Nice compass I need one
Had this happen to me and my girlfriend a couple weeks ago in Iceland with a small camper. All we had that we could use to dig was a small frying pan and its lid, no shovel or gloves. It was towards the end of the day with a snow storm closing and temps dropping fast. After 4 hours of hacking away and digging and many layers of skin gone off my knuckles with a beautiful sunset, we gave it one last go as the last bit of light disappeared and we got it moving. To say we were relieved was an understatement.
Need to get better tires if you want do to things like this.
Love the vids!
Spring may have sprung but that doesn't mean the mountains are that much safer if you're not careful.
I would take at least 3 MREs . Just in case something happens
Totally agreed. I have lots of food in the truck. Rice, freeze dried food, water, and fuel. But to play it safe while hiking, always have more with you than you think you might need ❤️
It's always amazing to see that somebody is nice enough to leave cameras everywhere for you and gives you the footage.
Awesome! Thanks for taking us along up to the mountains for nearly an hour of NWFS goodness.
How do you get the MRE? Great video btw
You can order surplus cases of them online! They're not cheap but great to have a stash of for a rainy day!
Thanks man, I agree, thier not cheap, but I think they're pretty cool for little camping trips. Great video, I look forward to your next video. Fish on!
Wow, glad you made it ok!
My dad, who used to climb Mt Rainier and offroad in his International Scout in the 70s, always told me to keep it in 2WD on the way out, then if you get stuck, 4WD to get unstuck and turn around.
Love the videos! Thanks!
Thank you man! Means a lot that you enjoy them!! 🎣
I’m sure it’s been said but you really need to get some real all weather tires. I have the same truck and you would not believe the difference between those A/T tires and a set of BFG’s or my current Falken Wilpeak AT3’s. It truly becomes a different truck when it comes to snow/ice and to me the single most important upgrade to my truck. I leave these on all year and have had my current set on for over 4 years.
Hey Leif nice video btw , one day I was fishing with my gf Melisa and a friend of mine name Rahe the river name is Timiş în Romania cuz I’m from Romania :)) and I got stuck I have a Seat Leon mk3 the long version you know and Melisa and Rahe got a panic attack was like omggggg omggggg what should we do :)) I am a prepared 20 year old boy :)) I got my gun a bb one but it’s a good self defense thing here in Romania cuz here is really hard to carry a real gun but anyway I got my gun my knife all my survival equipment I was prepared to survive like one or more week and my bow to anyway we get out like 6 hours in :))) love u man love your videos btw this is my first comment for you :))))
Glad you got out safely, it might be time for you to maybe get a little bit of a lift and some off-road tires for the f150, most of the fx4 packages and some other ones have a rear differential locker as well when you pull the 4x4 button out towards your for that extra traction. Also a really smart investment for it would be an off road bumper and a winch for self recovery on those trials with no cell service. I’ve been stuck plenty of times out in the cascade mountain loop highway deep in the woods on some snowy trials and the winch is a life saver.
Love ya, love the videos always, but bro.. General grabber AT2's or any all-terrain tires, never street tires for going off road. Especially in the snow. My go to is always the GG-AT2's
I think that you should get yourself a winch on the front then you could pull yourself out easy peasy . Peace and tight lines from Scotland 💪👍🥃🎣🏴
Finally! Something great on tv Friday night! Fish on baby!!
One major challenge I see is you don't have the proper tires for this kind of outing. Here's the preparedness tip, for those wishing to go into the wilderness in their vehicle in the mud/snow don't go with standard street tires. M/T or A/T tires are designed to better handle the rougher surfaces and reduced traction. This applies even if you have 4wd. Even a properly equipped 4wd vehicle with great tires can get stuck. Here's to safe trips for everyone venturing out.
Goodyear Wranglers bud. You won’t have this issue.
Using road tires in the back country is asking for it. Easy to puncture and screwed in mud and snow.
Fishing Upstream Season starts in my kashmir valley and after a long time i will do Fishing and Enjoy your 1 hour Long Episode...
Turning around is always the hardest part. I’ve done a lot of stupid things in the name of fishing. My truck has its own survival kit including glove, avalanche shovel, air compressor, battery jump box, tow rope come along, tire plug kit. Each piece was added after learning the hard way. I’m 53. Doing what you’re doing I would also get some off road tires. Thanks for showing us!
Excuse me for asking, but my daughter wants to know, what your name is😊 actually, i wanna know it too, because i didn't find any information on your website))
Besides a shovel, a good set of maxtrax would help tremendously. Airing down your tires to about 15 pounds and a good set of chains if you aren’t using all terrains or mud terrains
20:38 I use a Vortex monocular to scout from above when I'm out adventuring. They make some nice small handhelds. Consider checking them out, the build quality and lifetime guarantee are outstanding!
So many mistakes. Gas, layered clothing, snow tires, gloves, shovel. When going solo always expect bad things to happen and prepare for them. If nothing happens great! But at least you are prepared
35:21 It's a Polo... One of the most well known mints in UK history, they've been around since advertising began...
Went off-roading solo without solo recovery gear AND an empty tank of gas, lesson learned! ((you're lucky) you might want better tires)
We are looking forward to watching this!! This has become our favorite fishing channel and I appreciate how family friendly it is! ❤🐟
Means a lot to hear! 🎣 :)
Yep
First of all, WHY DONT YOU HAVE OFF-ROAD TIRES. you live in the mountains, off-road tires are must have.
Jeff, I have been watching you on lunch break. I RIG Boats @ Steven's Marine. I rig AlumaWeled, and KingFisher boats. Saw an episode that you were going down too the Sportsmans Show in Portland, OR.. I rigged boats for that show, didn't make it to show, had too finish up KingFisher. I have a 17' AlumaWeled super V , take wife and kids out when possible. Need some help. Can get kids on trout on a lake, no problem. However, Salmon/Stealhead/Sturgeon...Not so good
Wow!. You can't climb over those branches. I always carried chains in the care. They just lived there. And no fuel??? Mmm??? No life jacket in the kayak... frezzing water...no gloves. No camp shovel.. atleast there is enough lake water and snow.
BF GOODRICH TIRES are the best. All Terrain Tires. I had 31x10x15 tires on my F150. . Always lower tire pressure if you get stuck. It gives you better traction
Bruh. Glad you got humbled in a good situation. We don't wanna hear about your disappearance on David Paulides' Missing 411...know what I'm saying homie??! Even just a trenching shovel. Keep it under a seat. Jeez man! Scared me and shit!!
Slackin on gloves? You mean slackin on tires! Maybe get some mud terrains you would get stuck in 3 inches of snow lol
I have watched and enjoyed some of your videos. However, It seems you don't know the difference between a "Beaver (genus Castor)" and a "Mountain beaver (Aplodontia rufa)". In describing things you add "Mountain" to anything you see in the mountains E.g. mountain trout, mountain deer, ETC. FYI it's incorrect and kind of makes you seem uneducated in the field you've chosen to make a living. I wouldn't write except this was the second video I have heard you misrepresent the "Mountain beaver (Aplodontia rufa)". It is plain to see you are not an expert in the field and are learning as you go. There are several good books and field guides to reference.
Love all the episode massive fan from 🏴 wondering how I can have a care package and survival pouch shipped to the UK tried the website but can only seem to ship to the US unfortunately
Fish on baby 👌💪
Need to put a winch on the truck…. You should build and overland vehicle for these expeditions, until then FISH ON BABY
Always love seeing another post from my guy! Keep it coming, man! Love the content as usual ❤🎣
Shit man, take some warmer clothes with you at least 😅 Im always surprised seeing you basically just in hoodie 😄
Do you even use some proper winter tyres on your truck? 🙄
A pickup with NO 4-wheel drive is about worthless. That and NEVER run on less than 1/2 tank of gas. A topped off gas tank is the best way to run when the weather turns nasty. Period. You are lucky not to have gotten moisture in the tank, which would have caused the engine to run sporadicly and without the power it is meant to have. Plus keep a 'winter kit' in your truck around the clock, 365 days a year.
Thanks for sharing! That spring slush is the worst for driving, I had never had a problem in snow (with great tires) until I slid out on a river access road. Like you said, having people around or available to help is crucial, thankfully I wasn’t alone so I could push/rock the car out of the ditch while my buddy drove, but alone I would’ve been completely stuck.
All season tire are only all season in tropical climates, buy winter tires . That rig in 4x4 with real tires would have never gotten stuck in that little bit of snow. I live in Nova scotia...I,d take my Honda civic up there no sweat.
Very nice and “true” episode. Insuccesses are part of the life.
I like very much watching your videos.
Compliments from Italy. Ciao
Thanks for enjoying! Gotta share the fails so we can all learn from them haha. Greetings to Italy 🇮🇹 🎣
Leif, my family loves watching your videos, especially the backpacking ones! You have inspired us all to get outdoors more which has been great. My son, he’s 3, is always searching for dragonfly larvae anytime we are near water lol it’s super cute. He turns 4 at the end of May and is having a fishing themed birthday party. I have been trying and trying to get him a bullet lure and some danish sea salt but they are always sold out. I’m wondering if I could possibly deal with you directly to get them before his party in May? I wouldn’t be asking if I wasn’t desperate at this point 😅 Hope you are well! Thanks so much!
Pack a complete change of clothes, shoes included. Often don't plan on slipping in to the water yet one slip and soggy feet suck. Also a E-Tool(collapsible shovel) and spare knife and few tools and para cord- I can fit everything in a small duffle bag, old backpack or tool bag. No down side of having extra until you don't. Looked like a fun trip out and about, should go again, was fun watching.
You didn't bring a shovel?lol I never go into the high country without a shovel... lesson learned.... I hope
Cmon bro….those weren’t wolves….and that opener with the small hand gun? It’s honestly dangerous to share that concept with your viewers….
The reason being? That’s an inadequate weapon for the wilderness.
And as for the food situation? Dude…,as a retired military guy you ain’t gonna suffer hunger with mres….constipation yes….hunger no.
Tires Leif, Tires. I would not leave the pavement with them All Seasons you are sporting. Have had good luck with oversized BFG mudders. Not cheap but they last forever.
Do you have chains with you? Come on man I made the comment at the beginning of the video and of course mister rookie was not prepared at all.
He's done it several times in different videos. Come on, man, it's called common sense. I'd hate to see you die. I talk to you like you're my 41-year-old son wake up boy. One of these times you may not ever come back.😮😮😮
Glad your ok. About to watch another great episode. Fish on baby 🤙🏼💪🏼🎣 #You need a tow wench for the front of your truck
I recently got an InReach for solo backpacking/hiking and I have to say, I'm not sure it was the best idea. I find myself being much more risky now that I think I have a better rescue system... Im glad I have it, but I'm having to constantly remind myself to "not be stupid" when before I was just worried and didnt make thise decisions out of necessity.
a worm under a bobber in that feeder stream spot would have put fish on the bank! WORMS! Never go without WORMS if you need to catch FOOD! And if you do not have a nice worm box at the mountain farm? Please start one!
I love your content. When I saw in the title you had to be saved i thought the worst. I'm glad you were uninjured and got home safe! Watching the content you put out really made made me want to go back to my roots when I was growing up in northern Idaho. Im actually planning fishing trips again... fiy if you had a Tacoma you wouldn't have gotten stuck! LOL Keep the golden content coming!
hello idol...wish you give me jocket that your BULLETLUR design..thanks idol
It would help alot to have good tires on ur truck, in my experience and with my brother offrading in dangerous and wild places in all kinds of roads you can think off, even going over rocks up and down hills, driving on ice, snow, mud, water like a small creek, been offrading most of my life, and yes having good clearing or a high lifted rig is very important, but more importantly then anything else is having good tires, me and my brother had a basic stock rig a while ago, no lift kit no nothing, but what he did have is really really good tires, and even tho there were other "built" rigs u know lifted, and everything in a way much more prepared then us, but regardless bcuz we had such good all terrain nice tires we basically never got stuck, they did get stuck tho they built their rigs and had lift kits on them, they cheaped out on tires and my brother was pulling them on on a stock suv with his really nice tires,
So in my experience especially for someone like you man, you HAVE to have good all terrain tires, weather ur driving in slush or deep snow or powder snow, or again mud, whatever they will get you through, it would help to lift ur truck, but ofc not as important as having good tires, it's a lesson we learned the hard way, the only time tires won't save u is if ur driving basically on hard mud or clay and ur rig bottoms out xD
But definitely I have personally driven in far worse conditions, to me these roads you driven in this video is for someone like me really good roads actually, bcuz I've been through some rough roads, and with the tires I have even tho my car is simple not lifted or anything I'd never get stuck thx to the tires don't underestimate how much of an impact tires can have, it's a night and day difference trust me on that.
but definitely was worried about you man, you definitely are lucky to have had service to make a call, places me and my brother went your phone becomes paperweight, so u get stuck and it's over ur gonna live there till someone maybe drives by to help. Again learned that the hard way.
So again life plsss get some good tires I can Guarantee You that you definitely wouldn't have gotten stuck on that road if u did, comming from someone who's been off reading most of my life I've driven on way worse snowy roads and never got stuck thx to my tires, I can definitely give you suggestions and or recommendations on tires and tire sizes if you'd like I also used to work a discount tires and was taught many things about tires, if ur interested ofc
I'm sorry for the long msg you might get too bored to read it all, I just worry about u, and don't want anything bad to happen to u,
Ps: want a secret for snow offroading and looking for a place to turn around? You should bring from home like a sharp metel rod or stick something strong and sturdy, reason why is u take that stick and kind of shove it into the ground especially for snow, and seeing how deep the snow is, like u said you could have been stuck in a ditch there's no way to know with all that snow, so to tell if there is a ditch or not use that metal rod and see how deep it is and you'll see right away if in case ur truck does go the way ur truck did can it have enough clearance to keep going, if like here you'd see OK too deep u then can try turning around somewhere else.
And it also helps alot to have these plastic boards called "off road traction boards"
Which you can buy on Amazon can help alot as well if ur ever stuck. How I learned to offraod is to always assume when your going to the wild in ur suv or truck or whatever is to always assume that you can or will get stuck, and ask urself life " do I have the tools to self rescue, or to get unstuck from this situation?"
Always always when going offroading to assume that way, I always do myself, even if I will have service or if I'm going with a friend, it's better to have all these tools in case of a situation like this ur in. Again Apologies for the long message I care about you man and I want u to learn from someone experienced like me with offroading to not make the mistakes I did, I want u to be safe, I'm glad you got out, o hope this message will help alot life and even hope it will save you some day! Continue making these great !
Did you create an instagram with clips from your UA-cam? If not there’s a spam account that just followed me
Too cold for trout and crayfish. Both will be very deep due to cold water. Fish deeper with slower retrieve or fish on the bottom…….as you did. Stay safe. Awesome vid as usual. 👊🏽🙏🏽👌🏽
I know he keeps a gun. But ide keep it on my hip at all times and loaded just in case. Ide be to worried to go hiking or fishing withought have my gun loaded at all times. I know its legal up here where were at. This is probably the funniest episode ive watched with mres. And the answer for anyone wanting to know yes. Yes....Yes.....and yes. Everything about mrss he says is correct about how they are🤣🤣🤣
If I could make a suggestion. Carrying a couple 10 lb bags of gravel (to put under tires) in the bed might not be a bad idea
Yes I love watching your vids even I was ask few time a bullet lure from you to souvenirs but I had no respond 🤷🏻♂️.. it's ok you had a lot of view do who care right buddy
Just gotta comment because I want you to catch fish. Or at least have a better chance. I noticed the terminal tackle is heavy. May I suggest a lighter lure? Have you heard about the hybrid of combining fly with reel fishing. Take a fly and add to the existing setup. As long as it’s heavy enough to cast it won’t sink as fast as what you’re using now. Thanks for the content.
I don't know why I haven't found your channel before but I love your videos so much It is now basically routine to watch one of your vids before sleep, keep up the good work and efforts you make everything even more amazing with your personality ❤❤
Some better tires you would’ve been good
Im so glad that you make realistick videos and dont cut the «fails» away🙃it can really show how much it means by having someone to help you and friends is really helpfull😀keep up the good work my guy🔥
Always Tell Someone Responsible Where And When You'll Be Back! Give Them A Time You'll Call Them When Back!
Damn, man. You really messed up on this one. Shoot. Good example of what not to do in a survival situation. 16 miles and an oil change in the wilderness is wild.
Hey leif, question where do you purchase your MRE's from?? cant seem to find a good site and was wondering if you have a site you purchase them from. love the vids and are a true marvel to the community over the past years, much love
The handy MRE. I tasted some varieties of that food ration for the military in Clark Field Philippines. Sold outside the former USAF Base.
You sharing the not so good parts of your trips surely does help us prepare as well, but the only thing that I do religiously before any trip is I fill up the tank and top off when I have the chance. I'm glad you made it out safe and yes friends and neighbors are awesome to have!! After watching this video I already know what I am missing and will add to my truck.
