And I used to tie up rocks for weight and I used a lighter line for my weight ( so it could be broken off) . Thank you for sharing your experience and all the beautiful places that you are going to. Gido, many years ago, a place I worked used to get the local Journo's in a few times a week. Became good friends with a few of them, one was the fishing columnist. He used to say to keep a diary of fishing. Every time you go, how you went, time of year, wind and barometer, bait and tide and what you catch. He said that over the years you get a good, detailed fishing map. You should find the time if you have it :) and start a history and times to fish under certain conditions...
