- Here's a honest review of MY recent experience at the GRAND PALLADIUM /LADY HAMILTON JAMAICA all inclusive resort. The review includes a room tour of our Junior Suite Garden View Room at the Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort & Spa in Lucea, Jamaica and an honest review of the food & drinks, amenities, beach, pool, things to do and MORE. We were in room 2504, building 25. We flew into Montego Bay Airport and the drive was about 45 minutes (90 minutes arriving due to accident, but 45 minutes when we departed).

Thank you for this review, I'm planning to go April 2024 and your video really help me ,help me with planning and and what to expect as far as check-in and check-out,and what to expect about the staff,one thing are they expected to be tipped ?,just saying, thks any way again appreciate.
You're welcome! I believe they are. I did bring money to give tips in the restaurants, buffets and bar area. I also tipped housekeeping as she was so kind.
I went there during october and it was a great experience for me fully enjoyed my stay , there was a negative yes but i dont hope for too much so i definately ignored it and just focus to enjoying myself

Hi going with some friends in June/july. Everyone's getting a little spooked out my the level 3 warning not to travel to Jamaica. Any thoughts on safety and overall experience with the locals. I think we will be just fine. But we have some young moms with toddlers so.. a little concerned. Also how's the food with concerned in terms of options like vegan/ veggie.
Hey! I didn’t feel unsafe while on this resort. My recommendation is to stay together and rely on the transportation services provided through the resort should you choose to go off of the resort. While they do have fruit, vegetables and vegetarian options, it did not seem to be a ton of that kind of stuff in comparison to options that included meat outside of salad and fruit, but within the restaurants I did notice at least one vegetarian menu option with each line up of entrees to select.

Food and drinks are huge at resorts and the fact that the Coronas was $5 is like what!!! Seriously?! Especially being an all inclusive! The steak house looked nice! I think they should have offered more and had better quality food for what you’re paying! All inclusive safe not cheap at all! Also the phone not working really is a damper especially to take advantage of the room service! I love this detailed review!
I definitely understand about the points, but I would call again and speak to customer service! I handle the travel information for us and I really care about those points and monitor them so it would have really irritated me. I would have felt like I missed out on points that I could have used on another experience. I definitely get you on that! They definitely should have worked together on the service!

No. We just had to make reservations for them.

I would not go back to this resort. I had a good time with my group. However, the resort experience was not good. I’m glad this helped you decide and I hope you have fun whenever you do go visit.

Hey @michiegreen it was the worst experience I have ever encountered, truly a holiday from hell. I'm currently in the process of getting a regular from TUI.
OMG! I’m so sorry to hear that. What happened?
@@MissExclusive4 My room had a terrible smell ofould, there were only 2 lights working, the toilet had been secured on the wall at an angle and the whirlpool bath had a crack in it. Oh and a member of staff stole my handbag, the police retrieved my mobile phone and handbag but not my cash. And those are just some of the many issues I encountered. :(

Your experience may be completely different than mine. I hope that you have an amazing time. Make reservations for the restaurants (I don’t recommend the Japanese restaurant)

It never fails to amuse me yay how critical Yanks are about resorts and service.
This was by far the worst experience I had at an all inclusive resort. I hope that you enjoy your experience if you choose to go to this resort.
When you are spending thousands on your vacation at a RESORT it not being critical when you don’t get good customer service. No water in Jamaica?!?! I feel like she gave then compliments as well and gave an honest review. It helped me out for an upcoming trip.

I was there in October for my birthday and I did not have an enjoyable time at all. Customer service was hit or miss. When we first arrived we were suckered into what we now know was a time share presentation that lasted for hours and when we declined to spend 100k the great customer service went out the window! There are no elevators on the property at all and after drinking the last thing you want to do is climb a flight of concrete slippery stairs. It was also difficult getting the temperature right in the rooms so at night it tended to get very warm. The food situation is a complete joke. So even though this resort is closest to the airport I do feel choosing one of the other resorts that are further away might be a better choice.
Thank you for sharing your experience. I was there last October as well, and a lot of what you are saying was what we experienced too. We didn’t do the time share thing but customer service and the warmth in our room was an issue too, on especially night one. The food was just ok to me also.
