As you may have noticed I subtly made reference to the poor videos that are from the look at me generation. There was nothing really available to show Grand Palladium in a way that most people want to see and I knew this so I went there with full intent of making a video so that there was something online to give people a feel of what it's like to be there. Sometimes you have to do things yourself to get it done right 😂

We will be going back since I retired from the U.K. for the fifth time at the end of this month we stay at the Riu Negril on blood bay we love the beach also 7 mile beach is a free hotel bus ride away. Love snorkelling and look at the colourful fish we have been to a few places around the world but Jamaica has become are second home
@@WizardTerence yes we are here now loving it but got wet yesterday visiting 7 miles beech I think the weather is going to be better to day going to do some swimming off the the hotel beech

Totally agree with the lousy content covering this place on UA-cam. I was so frustrated with everyone in the look at me society only showing themselves or their clothes that I knew I had to fix this problem . So I set out to make a video that I would want to see, when looking at the possibility of going to a place ! It's not a surprise to me that people would rather see Jamaica than watch me in frame talking about me . I guess I am from an older generation lol😂
I was there it is so beautiful and friendly people I loved it we were at the opposite side than you guys the very last down. Grand Palladium, It is a massive spot lol. Loved it and your video. I got back for sure lol

I have been there 11 years ago for a wedding but my husband has not been. I can see you enjoyed your stay. Any suggestions you have for us i would appreciate. We are retired.
Yes, I have a few suggestions. As soon as you arrive, book your restaurants as soon as possible. There are open buffets at all times, but if you want a specific type of dining you need to book it. Bring a large drinking thermos with you if you don't want to travel back and forth to the bar, sometimes there are waits. You might want to bring a beach towel each. If you're near the water, bring your preferred sun protection.
Lady Hamilton is said to be the better side. There was only one building that I saw that was under construction but don't expect dust and noise to be blowing around.
Restaurants, you have to wait until you get there and I'm not sure about the excursions but I think you need to speak to somebody there at their tour center.

There is absolutely no pressure at all to tip. Not even a hint. Most people , like 90 percent plus , do not tip. We would tip about 5 to 10 American for meals. Rides to and from the hotel 20. Drink delivery 3 to 5. Again , you don't have to tip at all. We just like to give a little more. In total we tipped for the week about 600 American. Nobody would say anything if we gave 0. If you can , even just a little, or just once, I recommend you do.
I didn't see many people smoking but I don't think they say anything about smoking. I bought a cigar and smoked it in the entertainment area upstairs without any problem at all. They sell cigars and tobacco of some type for some type of pipe there. I'm not sure exactly what it is but it's in my video's.
Not that I know of, I believe the buildings across the property are all stairs. There is an elevator in the main building , I think. If stairs are a problem, let them know you are seeking the ground floor.
The pools are not cold. Warm and easy to get into. The spa lazy river pool is the coolest because of all the shade over it. If you want somewhere to relax in the water and out of it, it's definitely the serenity spa fell asleep there! 😂

Restaurants, you have to wait until you get there and I'm not sure about the excursions but I think you need to speak to somebody there at their tour center.
The Jamaica side got all new rooms redone. Did the lady Hamilton side as well?
They were working on a couple of locations when I was there. I did notice they repainted the room doors of the building I was in.

Which resort has water slides? Are the slides appropriate for teens? Does either Jamaica or LH have a teen club?
The Jamaica side has kids water slides but I doubt they can be used by teens.
