Pro Tip: most times when heading to the resort outside of Montego Bay the shuttle driver will stop at a roadside shake. This is the opportunity to try authentic Jamaican Jerk. The resorts have a tame version for their guests.

The views here are amazing, wow!!! Thats crazy the lights went out at that bar. Baby girl was enjoying that slide! That private beach area was nice, looked like a nice little chill spot. Enjoyed this vlog fam, keep bring us they great places to visit, you're giving us so many ideas of place to go.

That’s great to hear! Thanks. Funny thing is we actually went as part of a large group celebration, about 16 of us. Plenty space to congregate together. We had no problem getting a large table for breakfast a couple mornings and the beach made for a great group photo backdrop. They also had a variety of excursions were every one in the group could find something they wanted to do. Hope you have a great birthday!
@@MaysFamilyTravels is this in MBay or Lucea??? From what I understand Lucea is actually 45 mins away? I want to have access to the hip strip, so I don’t want to be an hour away. Can you advise if you went to the hip strip at all/how far away it is?

so that was the second time we went, it wasn’t a ton of ppl. A lot more ppl several years ago and met some ppl in 30s at the adult pool. the bar tender was nice enough to make us gallons of drinks that we could have after he closed

This was a lovely video, your daughter is so cute, this brings back alot of memories. I was there 10 years ago for a wedding
of my niece, last year in November we went to the Grand Bahia Jamaica Luxury side and loved it but would like to try this
resort again, so you liked it alot. We missed alot of things when i went because we had a 2 year old granddaughter with us.
I see there is an adults pool. Looks nice, i did not see that the last time. Our room was by the little beach at the end of the
resort by the Poisedon restaurant.

Great video and thank you for the suggestion about renting the hobie catamaran with a captain. We did it for an hour at 60$ and it was well worth it.

Thanks sorry these are hard ones cause we don't drink coffee lol. I've heard a bit better than the Royalton but its farther from Montego Bay. The have just about all liqour you can think of, but it varies by room.

Great video! Would you happen to know the hours for the kids club? We'll be taking along our 6-year old and this is one of the most important features for us. Did you allow your daughter to play there?
They typically are 9-5. We have let her play at the Grand Palladium in Rivera Maya, we didn't make it to this one because we typically were busy during the day and went on excursions. But we would have no problem letter her play, she was 5 at the time.

Hello! Planning on going with my family the beginning of April, I will be needing to take some calls occasionally on the weekdays so I was wondering if the free Wi-Fi connectivity was good throughout the property. Thanks for the review!
I would say its pretty good, if I remember correctly we had pretty good Wifi around the main pool area, but it dropped off closer to the beaches. Didnt try it in the adults pool or beach areas

Sorry we weren't more detailed. The food is pretty good. Our favorite restaurants for dinner were Sumptouri, the Japanese restaurant (be sure to reserve this one as soon as you get there, if you want hibachi), Poseidon, the seafood restaurant, and El Dorado, the steak restaurant. Our favorite breakfast spot was The Blue Lagoon, which overlooks the beautiful main pool! The jerk shack is a great place for lunch.

Hi thank you for this video. I'm planning a trip to this resort with my husband and our almost 3 year old. Did you do reservations for any of the places you ate? I know you tried to for hibachi but that was booked a week out, but wondering if you needed to reserve for any other places or if it was required. I thought they have evening entertainment for free, like dance shows and stuff or did they not have that? Did you feel like the heat was unbearable/unenjoyable in late June?
Hi, yes, you will need to make reservations for the restaurants soon after you arrive as they do book up quickly. The only restaurants that didn't require a reservation were the buffets and sports bar. Yes, there are shows and free entertainment each night. It was hot, but we're from the South so, it wasn't unbearable for us. Enjoy your trip!
Hey guys. Love love your video!!!! My girlfriend and I are going to be there next month. Question do you make reservations before you get to Jamaica at the restaurants. And I want to propose on the beach. Do they accommodate that or do I need to ship my own rose petals out before we arrive. Blessings and again love your energy and vibe!!
Congratulations. I believe they can accommodate but I am not 100% sure. There were quite a few weddings on the beach and we saw a couple taking their engagement photos. However the beach wasnt block off solely to them. I would say still to pack your own and ship them out, just in case. If you don't mind the fake ones on amazon, they are pretty cheap

Can you share which travel websites you use to purchase your vacation packages ? Which are the best ?
For this particular one we used our credit card points for flights and booked directly with Grand Palladium for the room. In the past we have used Expedia and Cheap Carribean. A lot of people use Travelzoo or Apple Vacations. If you have a credit card with rewards I would recommend checking their offereings as well.
Was there any covid travel requirements going to Jamaica right now? Do children need to be fully vaccinated? My child is not but the rest of us are fully vaccined

Aww thanks! We ate at the Jerk Hut a few times, Hibachi, and the main dining area. We went on excursions so we ate out.
Actually I'm not sure how I forgot the seafood restaurant lol, thats were we at the most.

We took a shuttle from the airport, we purchased tickets when we booked this resort.

Our 4 night stay was a little over $1500. We booked our flights separately from the resort.
Hello this will be my first time visiting an all inclusive resort. When it comes to the food and adult beverages…is it really all included? The prices are seeming too good to be true 😇
That's great! We love all inclusive resorts, pretty much all food and adult beverages are included. However there are sometimes at resorts where they might have a specialty wine or speciality food like lobster that cost extra, of if you want something like a candle lit dinner by the beach, you might pay a little extra. But we didnt feel the need to purchase anything on this trip because all the included stuff was really good.

Hi, the wife here. Congratulations, that is so exciting! There's a somewhat secluded beach just down from the adults only pool. You'll see a set of stairs right by that pool. I think that'd be a great spot! Best wishes and enjoy your trip!

The service absolutely sucks. Rooms wasnt ready at check in, a friedms had to wait 19 hours for a clean room. Foods sucks and when you ask someone to do their job, they get an attitude.
Worst experience I’ve had a resort… and lets not talk about food, absolutely no seafood unless you go to the seafood restaurant, and you better hope they’re not out of anything. Unless your invited to a wedding, go somewhere else!

This place is VERY unimpressive. They switch rooms on you, many of the the rooms are crap.
If you’re looking for “Best Western on the Beach”, this is your spot.
If you’re looking for someplace truly nice, I suggest you look elsewhere.
Can you reommend other resorts? My family is planning a trip and having a hard time finding the right fit for a 3-person family with a 6-year old.

Not sure about their experience but ours was soo good we made a video of it. This was our second time here. We actually were on a 14-person trip, and it was the best to get our 3-person family. Not sure if you checked out the room tour on our channel
