Thank you so much! Like others have stated, I got into calisthenics thanks to you, so I just recently transitioned my workout sessions into training for it. This couldnt have come at a better time! I had made up my own workout of doing bent over dumbell rows, wall push ups, air squats, and then lying tucks. However whenever I come up with something myself, I always feel anxious about whether or not I'm doing enough, or any of it correctly lol. So this is absolutely wonderful, I can't wait to incorporate this workout now!

Oh boy I need to ask . I am super overweight and not worked out in couple years at least with any intensity due to knee surgery that went wrong . I am now ready to go however I’m not sure I can do all this. What or how do you recommend I start . No way I can do a pull up not push up however I can do push ups modified squats and lunges hard . I do have a TRX strap so I could use it ? Any suggestions would be super helpful . Thank you !

you can do this exercise but need to think to be in a minimum calorie deficit or keto if works for you.the more you weight the more stress you put on joint. yes use trx. if it hurts do les rep. it is even good just walking in the house at least 30 min day.

hello lucy i just discovered your channel your videos have been really motivating but i want to ask you a question i have a huge sugar craving mainly chocolate i'm still 17 y.o and i'm really not ready to give up on chocolate no matter how hard i try i'v been eating healthy lately for 6 days a week below 1100 cal and have 1 day off were i eat whatever i want still below 1100 cal and during that day i eat my chocolate but i always read people telling me to QUIT SUGAR IT'S BAD FOR YOUR HEALTH or IF YOU EAT SUGAR YOU WILL NOT LOSE WEIGHT and that really discouraged me mad me feel really sad so i wanted to ask you can i lose weight if i eat chocolate moderately like maybe 2 tbsp of nuttela an brown bred i just am desperate i don't want to just stop eating something that makes me happy and always feel guilty about it >:

1100 calories is unhealthy for the average person- ESPECIALLY if you want to add workouts on top of that. A lot of the fads (no carbs, low fat, no sugar) are for the "quick fix" where the goal is to drop OVERALL weight, which means losing LEAN muscle tissues and actually storing fat/holding onto fat for your body to survive. You want to build lean muscle and burn the fat by dropping body fat percentage (the ratio of your current lean muscle to body fat). The people who say "i can't eat a slice of pizza or I gain 3 lbs" are the people who practice diets that RESTRICT the NATURAL diets of humans to a strict degree that when they finally "hit their goals," they go back to a normal diet only to find out they "gain weight again." That's why they develop a negative mentality AND negative relationship with food, so the best advice is to NOT fall for the restrictive diets. To be in a HEALTHY deficit, you need to know your TDEE calories first. Nobody should be eating 1100. Eat at least 1200 everyday, but if you workout and are not obese then eat at least 1300. You may find learning about Macro "diets" a very informative lesson and practice for you. Instead of counting calories, you're counting the QUALITY of those calories: the ratio of proteins, fats, and carbs you eat everyday. You need the right balance for your body to develop into the lean physique you desire. Not eating enough protein will BURN muscle instead of fat, lower your energy levels, and make you feel weak. Eating too low of carbs will NOT fuel your body for the workouts and therefore burn muscle as well. Healthy fats are really important for your body and you shouldn't cut them out either. NATURAL sugars are better than added sugars, but that doesn't mean eating "junk food" will ruin you. If you meet your macros, you can theoretically eat what you want. Natacha Océane is a really good UA-cam fitness influencer with informative videos about how to eat what you want, NOT fall for fad diets, and build a healthy sustainable lifestyle.
