Hi Lucy, I’ve been following you for a while and really appreciate your focus on health rather than a reckless weight-loss at all costs kinda attitude; and your bravery in sharing your journey in such detail, and talking about insecurities and body image in such a positive way is fantastic.
Just chucking an idea out there, but could you maybe make a video focusing on how partners/friends/family can maybe help someone on their weight loss journey? For example ways to support someone who is struggling to stay on track with their journey when they’re not really enjoying it, but neither are they happy with their body image or fitness level.
Managed to do this whole workout even though I'm borderline obese. Struggled with the push-ups, so I had to make a fist with my hands while doing that part of the workout. Thankyou, I feel awesome.
No! This is NOT back friendly.... This is back saving! I did it like... two times, I swear, no more (yet). I have carried a bunch of groceries and normally walking up the hill I would feel pain in my lower back. And I was almost prepared do the stretch and massage when I would return back home. But I didn't have to... It just didn't hurt, like my stomach and my back where supporting each other like they should earlier but were too weak. I don't know if it does make any sense, but it works, wow. In love in this workout completely. Thank you.
I just happened to come across your workouts today and am so glad i did. I have got out if the habit of looking after myself and needed to do something to help me feel better. Trying to get back into yoga wasn't doing the trick this time i just feel to frustrated to enjoy it. I felt like I needed something new. Your video was a bit of a challenge but not that hard I won't come back and do it again and I instantly feel better and proud that I did it. I will be trying your other beginner videos and have subscribed thanks Lucy x

I did this workout last night and I can feel the DOMS starting already! Calisthenics is new to me (although I have a vague memory of it back in the eighties) and it's right up my alley. Looking forward to more of these workouts.

Thank you for this workout, this is exactly what I needed. I like the precise and deliberate nature of calisthenics, applying the right stimulus where needed, definitely a workout method that appeals to me. Now excuse me, my arms are too wobbly to type :D

Hey friends, I wanted to share something that helped me recently with the idea of “working out” and instead of saying it’s something you need or have to do, change the narrative to “I’m going to go play, and see what my body can do” has helped me so much! Hope it can help someone else in the mindset shift 🫶✨
This follow along workout looked so delicious, i could not stop myself any longer from participating 😁 and that before i head out to work! Thank you so much for making it in a way that even though i am so heavy and unfit, i feel i can start my yourney to more health and vitality 😘

OK, so can I just say I really enjoyed this workout but man it made me realize I am terribly out of shape lol.. by the last round I didn't have anything left to give😭..I watched this for the first time last night and honestly didn't think it would whip my behind but...I was mistaken lol..I just keep repeating to myself to not give up and stay consistent! Those push ups have got to get easier tho man... please whisper a little workout prayer that I get thru this beginning part of my journey!!

@@lucylismore I don't think you need a second channel for that. Just do your fitness videos and your vlogs. Maybe one fitness-related one on Thursday and a vlog on Sunday. So everyone can watch what they are interested in. I'm a UA-camr, too (not with the channel I'm writing) and I know how you feel. Just be yourself and your followers can choose what they like to watch. The people find you because of fitness and weight loss but stay with you because you are you, remember that😊

is it okay to pause the video and take little rests that arent the scheduled rests? or does that, like, interrupt it and ruin it? i am just starting to try to get healthier and stronger so i cant do everything yet but i want to still try! :)

I think they louder beeps are intentional to make it easier to follow along to; I know from experience that beeps often get drowned out by heavy breathing 😅
