Oh wow. I do almost the exact same core routine exercises. I started doing them because of a slipped disk in my lower back. These exercises have reduced my sciatic nerve pains. Love how you show the alternative/easier versions of the same exercises.
@@pfffff6410 Core exercises were really the things that helped me get back to life without pains. My PT had me do some basic core exercises to start and I built up the strength from there to do more difficult core exercises. If you do these or any other exercises and get pain, immediately stop. Maybe do a visit to a PT and they can help figure a routine that is good for your pain level, it is definitely worth it. Good luck!
Omg even this is almost too tough for me to get through 😭 i am in so bad shape. But I am not giving up! I will do this workout 3 times a week and push myself till I can do all 3 rounds through 😅💪 thank you ❤️
I am surely gonna do this tomorrow. Thanks Lucy. You are the best. I hadn't had a workout for 2 days bcz I was disappointed with myself. But this motivated me. Thanks a ton Lucy. Only love your way🥰❤💗💗💗💗😘
I also really like this format. But I must admit that I like it when she talks because the exercises are explained and Lucy reminds us of our body placement and also encourages us haha.
I just tried it out! Very nice workout, and I appreciated the stretch at the end. I'm always quite lazy when it comes to cooldowns, so it was good to follow along on this 😊
I just love this workout ❤. I'm doing it for about 2 months. Once or twice a week after my rowing workout. Now I'm even mastering the side planks and I have start with the progressions 💪
Absolutely loved, loved, loved the video. Thank you for this. I’m recently started getting back into to my body weight and yoga training. I was finding it hard to find a body weight video that was right for me.
I think this is a really good beginner core workout. My first 'formal' exercise in a few months so happy that it was challenging enough but was able to complete it without making my own breaks! No instructions though, so some may need to take care with their form if not used to exercise. Thanks, Lucy!
COULD YOU REMAKE THIS but with audio as we are not looking at screen while exercising..I found it hard to follow craning my neck to check. I also teach- yoga and verbal guidance is important.
I decided to stop postponing and just do it. The full video is only 17 minutes long and I'm sweating so much! Haha. This was great. Will do it regularly til I can do the exercises properly ❤️
I've tried a few of your workouts, and I must say thank you. Love the attention to form and the usual warm uos and cool downs. It's really helped me be more consistent
Great session!! Really felt the burn in my entire core 🔥 The side plank position with leg and arm in the air was a true challenge for both balance and strength😅 So good that you show the modified version as well. Thank you! 👊🏽👍🏽
Trying these in the gym today very motivated to work on my core and tummy I am a bit heavy at 250 so it is going to be a lot harder for me wish me luck thanks Lucy
Hi Lucy, I've just started subscribing your channel, went through a couple of videos and want to say how inspirational your weight loss journey is! You've done such a great job! Wish you all the best, looking forward working out with you on videos and getting fit :) Thank you!
👋More of your workouts please..from intermediate...to advance..SLOW..but GROW😊..I like your approach.. a way of life ❤..being best version of ourselves..thank you..calming effect👌
Done this today! It's been a great workout, i can feel my core improved. Thank you very much! I will include these exercises in my daily work out. You are doing a great job with your channel, I really appreciate❤ best regards from Italy!🤗
This is a great core routine. I have lower back pain from a tailbone injury so I'm unable to do most of the core exercises found here UA-cam. Thank you so much for this ❤️❤️
Urm help..... I had dislocated both my sijs 6 years ago and we didn't know until 2 months ago. These have been put back in place but the muscles in my lower back, pelvis and hips suffered from muscle toxicity and have wasted away. I am overweight and I need some help to strengthen my muscles before I can get into weightless (although it will still help) what exercises would you recommend? I know all three types of glutes need serious work. Lower lumbar too. But I don't want to use weights because I don't think it's capable of taking the strain. I also have been unable to work for the last 4 years due to the injuries sustained so can't pay. Covid has shut down most places.... and I am searching for help
Hello Lucy! I wanted to check if you can make a video on/or reply here on how your dating life changed after weight loss? Anything from a man's perspective- topics like loose skin, cellulite really bother me, and well I have never dated in my life (I am 26) so I don't know how to handle those aspects- I know it doesn't really matter in the long run, but I am stuck with my female brain. Any advice from you or your experience would be a great help. Thanks so much and lots of love, your youtube videos really inspire me and brighten my day. Your honesty helps a lot!
Hi Delilah! I know this comment wasn’t directed towards me, but I feel strongly that I reply! I am not overweight but I am what is called skinny fat. I have my insecurities as well that I won’t get into. Dating is tough, especially when we have these thoughts that flood our minds that revolve around our physical appearance and whether or not our potential partners will find us attractive enough. Truth is, before you decide to date anybody, it’s great that you learn to love yourself first. We all have things that we are insecure about but we have to work on building that self love and confidence towards ourself. If you have loose skin though I can imagine it must be hard, embrace it, love it, for there’s a story of a strong journey behind that. If you have cellulite, love it. It’s a part of you, your body and it’s natural. What I’m trying to say here is that your body will change overtime. You’ll loose weight, you’ll gain weight, everything changes and nothing stays the same as we get older. It’s all part of life and we can’t spend our time obsessing over how we appear to others. It’s all about changing that mindset on how you see yourself, not how others see you. From someone who struggles with body image issues I can say that self love is a journey that will never end, but regardless, Accept yourself Love yourself first all of your “flaws” and “imperfections”. I can’t stress it enough. Love. Yourself.
@@kittymitty8581 Awwwww abbz you are a darling for replying to this. And thanks for the reminder and affirmation. I am in a much better place with my mindset right now and this is leading me to a new path of exploring health- mental and physical both.
Would you recommend this 3x week to loose weight ? As part of a better alimentation ? I'm afraid i'm not exercesing enough, but I struggle doing all those exercises ! :')
It depends on the person, try to do it by feel the first week (if it’s 3 times) try to do it 3 times per week. It’s success to get back on track. If you get stronger, try something else!

I would love to get into calisthenics at home. I really wish I had someone near me to train me in calisthenics, especially when it comes to form

Can I do this 3 months postpartum? I had an Ab separation and now it’s only a half finger wide... could I start these exercises already?
Is it ok to do these 3 months post partum?
Hello
Please is this save for diastasis recti
Hi Lucy - are these exercises suitable for men to do as well?
Totally suitable for men dude. Absolutely nothing wrong with planches and whatever the second and last one are called.
@@JWinger62 Cheers Jesse!!!
I had a break from my calisthenics class for a while due to injury, today I looked up the class and alas it is no longer running :(
Girl I bout died in only 3 mins and 15 secounds😭💀
Please add kettlebell workout for us, that will be really helpful, thank you
I find the reverse plank easy but the harder progression hurts my knees - anyone know how to stop this?
Perhaps bring your feet towards your body a bit more to take the pressure off a little ☺️ x
Wish I had explanation.
I love you
You reminds me of Haley Atwell.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Woah!!! Who else was quaking? 😳 that’s a good sign, right?
anyone else feeling it in their arms too??
