Beautiful life ! I'm 63 and have days that I wish the kids were little again haha but mostly embracing this wonderful time with me and the hubby and entertaining grandkids from time to time 🤩
Happy birthday, Julianne! 💜 Seeing your young family, Annie, I miss my little boys! But having forty year old men, daughters-in-law and granddaughters is beautiful too! My youngest son just got baptized Sunday in the pond I was baptized in. Was a wonderful day!!
Hope your healing up and enjoying time with the newest member of the family! Happy birthday julilian ! Great video! Wonderful seeing all the kiddos ! Agreed March has been a weird month !
I bought me some microgreen seeds I have never grown any before after watching your cooking video and fit farmer talk about them I wanted to try them...Thanks
Oops I missed this video. What a fantastic day. I love that microgreens business. I've only grown a jar at a time on the sill. We always do sheet pan pizzas now that I have mostly Bigs and adults , so much easier then when they were all little and making their own but I'm sure glad we have those memories. It's been far too long since I've Rollerbladed , we plan on doing it again soon. They have glow in the dark nights here , which sounds fun. Thank you for sharing lovelies ❤
Thank you SO much for sharing your day with us! I am so inspired by your family and how you have taught your children the value of work and responsibility at such young ages. I’d love to hear you speak more about this! At what ages do they begin doing certain chores? How do you encourage this? As the mom of 3 little ones, with no farm, I am always trying to figure out how to make sure our children learn skills and responsibility! Blessings to you- and happy birthday, Julianne!
Great video! So fun that Tabitha wants to do the chick hatching again. I guess it was a success last year :) The microgreens are cool! Thanks for giving us some more detail on what they are and how you are growing them!
Good job! Thanks for sharing. I am hearing of a lot of people having trouble with coyotes and foxes this year....If they are coming in, the 3 S's would be the thing to do. However, if they are staying out, leave them alone. I had one come in when I had sheep and I made her crouch down (bad shot I guess), but she never came back. I have had a lot of discussions as of late about this vs free range, animals, etc. It appeared that there were chicken eggs with those turkey eggs and so I would suggest that you remove the chicken eggs so that it does not confuse her when the chicks hatch at 21 days as the turkey eggs will hatch a week later at 28 days. She may leave the nest when the chicks hatch. As for the layers and broilers going together, I would not suggest it if they are more than a couple weeks apart in age to not do it as the older ones will pick on the new chicks has been my experience. Unless you can introduce them slowly (cage in the pen) or at night (hard to do with heat lamps on). Great video. Microgreens look great Julianne.
i have a concern about your turkey with chicken eggs and turkey eggs under her. on the usual part once the chicken eggs start hatching she will leave the nest and forsake her own(turkey) eggs. especially since chickens hatch in 21 days and turkeys in 28 days. just a concern.
Loved seeing all the farm chores and your DITL … your little daughter is just precious 💗

May i ask what curriculum you use for homeschooling? You seem to get a lot done around the homestead and still have time for school.
Thank yoou.
I saw someone use an electric knife to cut micro greens.
What do you do with the old soil?
Where do you attend church? Is there a group of homeschooling families at your church?

Well, long story short she is only sitting on chicken eggs:)
Any college plans for Jules?
