I just placed my first Azure order. I'm "old" (68), don't breathe well (COPD/asthma), and don't have a car, so I called the coordinator for the local drop site to see what could be done. Since I'm less than 2 miles from the drop site and on her way home, she volunteered to deliver my orders to my home for me. Thanks be to God for good people! Without her help, I would not be able to order things from Azure.

I am most likely not going to get my sharp cheddar cheese, milk chocolate chips or bittersweet chocolate chips this month. Disappointing because I really want that stuff but hopefully next month it will all be back in stock. I ordered everything I need to either top off our supplies or ingredients I need for holiday baking. I haven't picked up an Azure order since April! Since we are fully stocked, I just made the decision to order quarterly but it has been even longer. There are only three of us and I still love buying in bulk and having a very well stocked pantry. We took at unused guest bedroom and turned it into our own home grocery store. I am a great grandmother. Trust me, you and your husband made the right decision for you to stay home and mother your children. You will never regret it. There are no material things in this world that are more important than being there for them. It is so nice to see more and more women making this decision.

Just picked up our Azure order last night. We also live on one income, and not a high one at that(about $2500 month take home). I'd say it took me about 2-3 months to transition to buying in bulk and stocking( or I should say restocking) our pantry. I'd gotten lax in keeping it stocked and so had to get a move on when Covid first reared it's head. Once stocked , however, it's much easier( and cheaper) to restock in bulk. I say that to those who think this way of shopping is something for people with extra money. It isn't. This is a frugal method. Many of the items I get at Azure are the same price, if not cheaper than the store equivalent. Not in all cases, but in most. The quality is way better though, and so if it ends up being a little more (cents) per unit, it's well worth it. Some things I can't get at Azure, but a good many I do. FRUGAL TIP: watch your price per unit. I get a really good price buying in bulk on Azure, but many times the gigantic bulk purchase is actually more per unit than, say, the middle of the road size. Do the calculations just to be sure. Also, many times I'll order a size because it has a container I can reuse; canning jar, or five gallon bucket. If it cost me a few cents extra, worth it for the container. As with any store, know your prices, and price compare. If you can get it cheaper elsewhere, do so. I really enjoy Azure though.

18 months and 18 orders later I can't describe how happy I am that I made the switch from grocery stores to Azure!
It was a tough call due to the upfront cost as it seems so expensive...especially buying a month's (plus) worth at a time. When you're used to shopping weekly, the switch can be a shock. But, once you get into the flow, you realize just how much Azure saves! The fact that I can not only build up my pantry but also feed my family healthy, organic food makes it oh so worth it!
We also have an hour drive to our drop, but organic options are rare and Azure is a company I can trust!
    Thanks for sharing!

Oh wow! I thought that your homestead was your business. I did not realize Josh worked full time . I grew up on a farm in the 70’s and I know we farmed but my dad also had to work part time doing other jobs due to the economy. It was wonderful to grow up on the farm. We learned to live off the land and not run to the store for everything. I live in a city now but we live on one income as well. I still can and cook from scratch. Too expensive to go out all the time. Thank you for another wonderful video. A question with the apple chips. Can you rehydrate those for baking?

So often folks don't think about the big picture and just base their thoughts on what they see. Rather than asking the question "how can I do that" or "what does that look like for me" it is easier to just find fault and/or criticize. You are set for some organizing now! Just got my second Azure Standard order from our drop site! And I scored a big 'thermal blanket ' off the truck. While I may not order every month, Azure has a lot of useful products. I got buckets, a mortar & pestle, a backup can opener & a box of the half gallon canning jars with lids, & some supplements to try for my husband's memory issues. So far, I am impressed with the quality & prices of the products from Azure Standard! And our drop coordinator does a bang up job of organizing everything! Blessings from NW Florida!

A loaf of bread where we live is 4.49 cents. I can make brioche bread for a fraction of the cost. Bread products that used to cost maybe 10 dollars a month is now over 50 dollars. My bread making skills were abysmal when I started, my biscuits were literally pucks and the kids were playing with them outside (seriously). Now they are light and fluffy and it comes second nature. I had to either make things from scratch or we are going without.

You need a rubber mallet to install the rim to your bucket. Start in one area and keep moving around. Don’t use a regular hammer as you could crack the plastic. If you have to use a regular hammer, use a piece of 2 x 4 on top to hammer on as you work around the edge. Good luck. 😊

They work hard and worked hard to get where they are. They wanted something and they worked hard to achieve it. If you are jealous it is because you aren't working toward your dreams. I"m kinda torn on Azure, some items are great others not. Also shop around for some things because they aren't the lowest priced. I have a local drop for Frontier and CLNF, Frontier is lower in price for many things when bought through a drop point and the shipping fee is no where near what azure is. I was so disappointed this last month, I ordered a case of lemons and they came with about 1/4 covered in mold, not a little but covered. They did give me back "part" of the cost but it should have been all as they just kept rotting, even with me washing them and removing the bad ones. Will I order again, yes but with hesitation.
