Received one in the same box and was totally disappointed by this packaging. I wasn't sure if this is a genuine Tissot watch or a fake one. Much cheaper brands offer way better packaging... this is how I would expect to receive a watch that costs $30 not $300.

I bought the two-toned yellow gold version of this watch for myself three months ago. It comes with the "best" version of the Powermatic 80 movement. I think the packaging budget was split between the watch itself and the COSC certification, and I personally am fine with the decision. That enabled Tissot to provide a 3rd year on the factory warranty, which resets after each servicing. My watch has literally been perfectly on time since the day I got it. ZERO deviation!
