I have the square black dial quartz version and I love it. For $200 it has a better quartz movement than watches 4 times the price. I love my NATO straps and it looks great no matter which color racing stripes I put on it.

my daily wear watch for the last 6 years, got the one with the gold tinted face...

I don't know if this applies to this watch, but I've read not to adjust the day/date unless the hands are positioned at the bottom of the dial on chronograph watches.

Its a fantastic watch. I got it shortly after it came out, and its clear that its meant to 'compete' in a way with the Oris Calibre 400 Aquis, it has a very similar look. I happen to have the Oris Calibre 400 Aquis too - so I can sit both of them side by side and see the difference and similarities haha! And the Seastar 2000 is naturally much larger at 47mm vs the Oris's 43mm. Its still a fantastic watch though!

I love that Seiko decided to make the presage line so we could have awe capturing dials like on gs watches

I use this watch for my daily swim. Great on waters because of the huge display making it legible even if the watch is submerged

I wish this watch had a rotating bezel and 10 ATM water resistance. It would have been a more perfect watch.

My wrist is small, maybe very close to yours, around 6.25 inch/15.8cm, I can see it wears like not too big, but is it not? I'm scared when buying this online, it ends up too big for me

Don`t synchronize your data like that! There is a risk of breaking the gears if it is night time. So if you are not completely sure that it is daytime in the hours between 9 and 3 O Clock , 1st move the arrows to the safety zone - bots for minutes and hours - in the bottom zone under 3 and 9, for example 6 O clock, then you can regulate the calendar.

Thank you for the presentation. A really pleasant watch, and I especially like the readability. Only the date window is a real downer (it's very small with a 2 mm cut-out in the height). This and the recessed position of the calendar make it very difficult to read. The 22 mm width of the strap is pleasing, which means that the watch can also be personalised with alternative straps.
