Beautiful piece of work. The bike looks amazing and very functionally put together. I especially liked how you moved all the electrics under the seat, brilliant! Definitely a labor of love. Thanks for presenting.
Awesome build, really like the water pipes with wiggins clips. & how the wiring is attached to the frame, lots of thought very nice to have in a collection.
What a fantastic build! I love Ducati and especially the sound of the old bikes with the dry clutch. I would love do to a build with an old 900 SS, but unfortunatly, in Norway we are not allowed to modify the frame, so you can't make the back part of the bike look nice.
The looks is a win, boys! Love it when the proportions fit, like it does here. I really think the MV Augusta style wheels was a hit too. It sounds a bit loud for my personal taste, but I get it:) Well done!
Making the ST4 into a cafe racer is a difficult job. These guys have identified the problems and solved them better than anyone else on the web IMHO. It can be done well on less of a budget than has been spent here. But starting with a 999 or an S4 makes life a lot easier.
Great Bike! Especially the wiring and cooling system is always a challenge at the ST's and very well done here. I also like the integration of the motogadget in the headlamp and many other details. The exhaust is also well designed and sounds brutal. Just the transition between the fuel tank and seat pan looks better at the former Radical seat, but this is just a detail and the overall line looks great. I did a similar ST2 build and can imagine how many hours have been spent into this bike. Save rides and have fun with this great bike!
Absolutely gorgeous. I LOVE 💕 your BEAUTIFUL craftsmanship and attention to detail. I'm taking delivery of a fully restored and improved 2000 Ducati Monster. I wish you were here in the US I'd love to have you do some project bikes for me .
What a fantastic looking bike! Obviously it is made for riding but also for just looking at. It is not a tourer, so who cares about the seat? All parts look great, manufactured, adjusted, upgraded or just bought. If such a beautiful bike was mine, after every ride (dry) I would clean the dust of and put it in my living room. Great job guys.
Particularly interested in the wiring relocation etc., as I'm building an MV 750Fa custom and the amount of wiring is beyond spaghetti! Love the LM exhaust - WOW!
Very trick indeed, love those fabricated water pipes and the aircraft clips. Viv certainly knows his stuff and is a true engineer. Love the look and stance of the bike. Nothing on there that looks wrong. Could do with hearing more of the engine on idol to pick up that lovely dry clutch, but she sure has a loud bark. Great stuff? Can you say or do you want to say, how much you had in mind to spend initially , and as so often happens to get a project “right”, how much did you end up spending?🏍🏍👍🏻👍🏻
Just FYI. Single-sided swingarm pivot bearing loads are identical to normal double-sided swingarm loads. Only the stress in the swingarm is different as it has to carry torque as well. Nice bike though!
Great piece of art that you can ride. My question is what type of metal is the frame made out of as you welded the support piece for the single sided swinging arm?
That's a great sounding Ducati. Great looking too but i don't think i'd get used to that seat ever. I say that now but would not hesitate to climb on and take it for a nice spin to see for sure. That frame stiffening done previously was horrid.
@@vivcowley891 Ah neat. Beautiful bike you guys built! My lifelong aspiration has always been to start my own custom motorcycle business, stuff like this is a huge inspiration and motivator for me.
Viv Cowley that’s answered that. I can’t find any fault with this build but I expect you can still see things that can be improved on. Nature of custom creations. Lovely work Viv.👍🏻👍🏻🏍🏍
Beautiful piece of work. The bike looks amazing and very functionally put together. I especially liked how you moved all the electrics under the seat, brilliant! Definitely a labor of love. Thanks for presenting.
Absolutely stunning. Love the details (down to the Wiggins clips) and the stories behind some of the parts, especially that exhaust! Viv is the man.
Awesome build, really like the water pipes with wiggins clips. & how the wiring is attached to the frame, lots of thought very nice to have in a collection.
Work in Daventry, so great to hear a local business get a nod. Luv the bike, great job.
Fantastic build! The fabrication and design details are top notch, some really smart solutions

I never get tired of looking at this bike.
This belongs in a museum it’s a piece of art kudos the everyone worked on this project
5 Stars from Denmark, for this incredible Bike😊
Some bikes look great built from a parts bin but this is just built a piece of art and your building and engineering is beyond compare sir
kind words, pleased you like it
The beauty of this bike, no words can describe.....
Some riding footage would be grand! Lovely build 👍🏻
Gives me piles just looking at it but it is beautiful!
Love the details they go into on this video. Could watch all day.
Fantastic bike and story behind its build.
The gent who restored this is good at his craft
A true bike builder, and fellow kickback dude :)
Nice one Viv, one of my favs..
Hope to see you with something in April 19

Beautiful built taste of modern and classic cafe racer

Awesome build, came out pretty sick.

Raw portrait of engineering beauty...Cheers👍🏻👍🏻
Fantastic attention to detail. It must have been a lot of fun (for the most part) to work on.
thats what a custom build is all about stunning 👌🏼
Now that's one cool looking Ducati.
Stunning looking motorcycle. Well done.
the electronic under the tail nice clean job Pro !
Really like the bike, nice work. The gap between the tank and the frame looks a bit odd, but it's art. Good job!
I think that is one of the cooler parts, it replicates the old Ducati racing bikes
Very nice build, beautiful bike
WOW! This bike looks amazing! Great Job Guys!!!
inexperience will say "Oh yeah, i can do that!" bulls#it!! Beautiful work, guys!
This bike is so beautiful and a work of art

Awesome looking bike guys. Good job!!!
Fabulous creation.
Love the attention to detail re the wiring!
Holly shit, this bike looks like a brand new concept bike in a show room.
That is one beautiful bike, awesome work.
Very nice job and great teamwork by the sounds of it ...keep it up you two
Great build. I would go different seat configuration but just personal choice. Good decision on the black forks. Be nice to know final build cost
This sounds like a stupidly complicated custom job and it has come out incredible! Great work.
Sooo beautiful! Where can we see more of this bike? It's so inspiring. Thank you

Our future generations care...
Beautiful, sounds amazing, thank you.
Really cool customized bike
Probably my favourite up to now!

Work of art 🤌
That's a really nice sound. Can't imagine how it sounds when you're next to it💥
Wow!!..what a beauty.I can’t wait to build my own cafe racer one day.I might take a few ideas from you😬👍🏼🤘🏼💪🏼
Looks neat and precise, hat's off
This bike looks amazing! I would feel like the coolest dude riding this😎
Wow! Stunning looking bike 👍
Stunning bike, I think the only thing I'd change would be to get rid of the decals on the silencers. Nitpicking of course. Really amazing work.
Very nice indeed! Swinging arm should have been satin black as well, but that's just my own opinion.
Particularly interested in the wiring relocation etc., as I'm building an MV 750Fa custom and the amount of wiring is beyond spaghetti! Love the LM exhaust - WOW!
Stunning bike I wish I had the guts to do something like that (and the money).
Top build, great looking bike 👊
Great project of two great guys.
so beatiful! unreal build boys !
Seat look like pain in the arse.
I was about to post the same comment.
I bet it's heaps of fun in the twists.
Very unique and a beast of passion and desire cheers Shane uk 🇬🇧
Bloody brilliant, well done
Bumped into this bike and owner at the Oxford dgr day. Absolutely stunning bike. Really love it.
I were right about that saddle tho'..... 😊👌👊
Beauty! Inspirational yet impossible for me! I have a 2002 748 I would love to do this to!
Great bike, thanks for sharing.
Beautiful bike guys would love one 🤙🏼
Absolutely a beautiful bike
Lovely! Except I'm not sure about the 999 tank vs. the seat unit.
P.S.: Love the Le Mans exhaust...
awesome build!

Oh 20min of bike right on! ✌
It awesome. Well done lads.
Beautiful bike, lovely!
Just FYI. Single-sided swingarm pivot bearing loads are identical to normal double-sided swingarm loads. Only the stress in the swingarm is different as it has to carry torque as well. Nice bike though!
Absolutely stunning
Not my taste but it's plain to see this is a work of art
Nice build guys :)
Crazy build
That's a work of art.. pretty sure it would be super uncomfortable to ride, but beauty is pain.
Great piece of art that you can ride.
My question is what type of metal is the frame made out of as you welded the support piece for the single sided swinging arm?
Terrific-lookin' machine!
That's a great sounding Ducati. Great looking too but i don't think i'd get used to that seat ever. I say that now but would not hesitate to climb on and take it for a nice spin to see for sure. That frame stiffening done previously was horrid.
piece of art.
Wow, love it. I was thinking about getting the kineo wheels too but I’ve heard the customer service it’s really bad and takes forever to deliver
Bellissimo , clean job.. Love it!
thats awesome !!!!well done
Gorgeous machine!!
Makes perfect sense 😎
Big effort nice work
Absolutely gorgeous, I'd be so scared of scratching the lacquer on the seat though
nev does have a seat pad that goes on , we left it off for the shoot

Ducati is amazing
That's gorgeous!
how is the tank and seat supported? there is a huge gap where most of the weight would be. And the tank isn't resting on frame rails.
Bloody marvellous ❤️
