I have thoroughly enjoyed and learnt during the course of your bike build journeys. Thank you so much for the good work and brilliant ideas and encouragement.
Fantastic job!! Couple of qs, will the 3d printed parts round the engine not melt? And is that carbon fibre you are using, how are you getting around not baking it? I thought CF had to be baked? Great stuff as usual
Can't believe you managed to condense nearly three years of work down to 20 minutes! Hope you'll be giving us a "first ride" video with your riding impressions. Shame you couldn't have shown it off at the recent WDW 2022 in Misano - I think it would have gone down well there. Two questions: which part of the build are you most pleased with/proud of and, with the benefit of hindsight, is there anything you would like to have done differently?
The original Timelapse came to 3 hours first edit 🤣. So most impressed with myself I’d say sculpting the shape out of clay and getting that symmetry. Thing I won’t do again, sculpting a bike out of clay.
Turned out really nice, love those wheels and so different from everyone else putting different cast ones on. Are you going to ride it or is it destined to be just a show bike? Whichever it's a beautiful machine.
@@forthebold I adapted DR650 wheels to my 2002 Supersport. It was difficult. I needed Sport Classic brakes, custom axles and spacers, a modified rear brake carrier, etc. But, the width of the hubs is the same as oem, so that helped. I'm still not certain they're going to work perfectly, but we'll see when I get my project done.
Superb design work, really stands out from the crowd. I'm only _slightly_ disappointed the headlight doesn't pop open for full beam, Lotus Esprit style! Only joking, can you imagine how much work that would take :P
Suzuki managed it with the Katana 750. Turn the mechanism on its side to flip open rather than up. Might be a bit tight on space as the fairing is so close coupled. Agree with you on the design.
You should really be wearing more PPE when working with carbon fiber, its pretty nasty stuff, especially if it gets in your lungs. I wear disposable coveralls so I'm not tracking it around on my clothes. But that said I'm also in aerospace so I have a lifetime of exposure risk.
It was a long and beautiful three years with this project. It was worth it. She is beautiful 😍💪
Thank you. Watching this again it was a very long 3 years
Amazing - love the way it’s totally reworked, yet somehow retains the Ducati DNA - seat and rear cowl makes me remember the 900ss from the 1970s
The ghost was one hell of a journey👍
It sure was, never again
@@forthebold 😆
After rebuilding many old corvettes- all that fiberglass makes me itch all over the place- the bike looks awesome !! 💪
Fibreglass is awful. Especially the splinters.
She's beautiful. Nice work
Thank you 🤘🤘
Love it! Great job, perfect colors IMO.
Thank you so much.
Ever try making a plaster wood casting negative? You can spray release on the plaster negative. Plus you can refine plaster to a glass like finish.
I have thoroughly enjoyed and learnt during the course of your bike build journeys.
Thank you so much for the good work and brilliant ideas and encouragement.
Thanks so much for following
Wow! The way you shaped the tank seat cowl was so cool!
All winging it until it can’t put right.

He used the prints for mock up. They were eventually CNC machined.
Only preppy carbon fibre does, standard laminate with cloth doesn’t.
And yeah the parts are cnc out of aluminium
that beautiful ducati looks better with the bars it shows more powerful very good job of café racer 💯👊
Thank you very much
amazing piece of work, the transformation is outstanding - truly a beautiful and unique cafe racer project :)

Greate job!
Can you share the STL-file for timing belt covers?
Sorry I’ve lost the files now due to the laptop not working.
Nice, nice, NICE!!!!
Thank you
Turned out really nice, love those wheels and so different from everyone else putting different cast ones on. Are you going to ride it or is it destined to be just a show bike? Whichever it's a beautiful machine.
Absolutely. Just need to MOT it when I get a spare moment.
Nice details
Thank you
Where did you get the wheel hubs from? They are really great.
Thanks. From Dime City Cycles
@@forthebold They don't list parts for a Ducati. Which hubs did you use?
No they won’t be for a Ducati. They were for an XS650 but I created my own conversion kit for them.

Brilliant....looks factory done. Amazing amount of work.

Wow! 👏👏

Thank you
great work. waiting for mongrel=)
Thank you. Already on it.
@@forthebold I do not lose hope that I can buy belt covers from you. Can I order them or at least buy a 3d model to make them myself?
Amazing job, Big respect ! Little question, did you kept the upper fork 3D printed part or replaced by aluminium manufacture ?
I got it aluminium cnc. The 3D was just a prototype fit. 🤘
@@forthebold What I expected, and sorry for the question, then I looked the appropriated video of the serie 🙏
Amazing job anyway 😉
Thanks you 🤘

Thanks. Ziggy did a cracking job on his CB with the flip up too.
Nice 🔥
Thanks
OMG I didn't even remember what the Ghost looked like before.
A little different.
How do you make your money during the build just curious?
I have a full time job.
🔥🔥🔥
🤘🤘
Hallo, verkaufst Du auch 3d Print Datei?
No sorry I don’t.
Any new exciting project coming up ? 😁😁
There’s the ongoing R100 and VFR750 Mongrel
What year bike and model
1994 Ducati Monster
Is that the best year to make cafe style ? Or could it be any. Monster ?
@@boston05011 any monster really.
you doing as great job but you need a partner for the painting
Of course it’ll never be as good but my buddy Moe is across the pond.
Damn, i got a hard-on just looking at that build. Incredible dude! super nice kit. the fiberglass fabrication was just too good... Tip of the Hat...
Ha ha thank you so much.
Such a beautiful bike being wasted.
Not at all. It’s gorgeous
me and Ducati go way back together,
To bad we didn't get to see it go down the road or at the least hear it
Startup is at 16:20. Riding videos coming when it’s warmer.
Tolle Arbeit Respekt 👍,aber meinen Geschmack trifft es nicht, muss es aber auch nicht
Thank you for the comment. And you’re right, it’s not to everyone’s taste and that’s the great thing.
it looks really good but the headlights are quit ugly
That's cool
Official
Thanks.
He put a lot of effort into it, but this is not a real monster!
Thank you but Not sure I understand?
I cant watch...the back ground music is very noisy, sorry
Put it on mute then 🤷
