It was "a fluke at best" that the call on the previous series on 4th down was ruled a touchdown. His knee was DOWN. We shouldn't have needed the miracle pass because that should have been an Auburn win at 37-31.
This is great radio. The call described vividly what happened on the field, and the commentator went back over the play to fill in details. Auburn's offensive lineup and the play progression could easily be visualized by anyone attempting to listen.
***** Hey no one cares if you guys lost by 1000 points or 1 point they care about the final score. If you lose in the super bowl by 1 you don't win. So why don't you take another look at the SCOREBOARD War Eagle (not being mean just talking sports)
***** It's not paused video. And it's not a picture taken of a TV. It's CAPTURED video: ua-cam.com/video/hkn_R3ZeUBg/v-deo.html#t=55s Using software with FRAME by FRAME detail. That means down to the 1/30th of a second. I posted the EXACT frames where his left AND right knees touched. Not blurry. Not distorted. CRYSTAL CLEAR BOTH his knees were down BEFORE the ball crossed the plane of the goal line. Now go praise Amari Cooper, sing your bammer fight song and rammer jammer yeller hammer, go to HELL alabammer. Please call me stupid or a baffoon again and see if you ever post on my channel again. Please, try me bammer troll.
"Fluke at best." First, if you're going to talk about luck in that game, let's not forget how lucky UGA was that there was no replay camera on the other side of the field; Aaron Murray's knee was down before he scored that last TD. Second, it was the hotdawging UGA defenders going for the pick who tipped the ball up in the air to begin with. You guys got us this year; we'll be back.
I thought this rivalry was supposed to be classy? Come on guys can we not be friends? Sure Murray's knee went down on the go-ahead. And yes, the hailmary was a crazy play. But it's a great moment in college football that will never be forgotten. Yes it was a little lucky. BUT when you try to go for the game winning interception instead of swatting it down, things like this happen. Things fell in Louis' favor but he still showed amazing concentration to pull that ball in. It was a great game.... can we just leave it at that?
Unfortunately, this rivalry hasn't been "classy" since the 90's. It really started to heat up in the early 2000's due to classless fans on both sides doing some really stupid stuff. It's a shame too, because all of that is the minority.
Outstanding Cruise Dude I'm from columbus, ga and I am now a freshman at auburn, Its cool. I enjoy classy people. It was a good game from both teams. Luck is a part of the game as well. Columbus is like a triangle, you see Alabama, Auburn, and Georgia fans there so there is a lot of controversy
"Sure Murray's knee went down on the go ahead."? Where do you get the "sure" from? I've seen no video showing his knee hitting the ground. There was an official right on the goal line with a clear view who thought he broke the plane first. Can't see anything from the camera angles and none of those angles are right on the goal line. When it looks as if Murray's knee had to hit the ground (assuming that it didn't land on an Auburn player) the ball had been pulled back a little from it's most forward progress which looked awfully close to where the plane of the goal line had to be but you can't be sure of that because the camera angle is not on the goal line. I don't see where GA got "a little lucky". They fought back to take the lead then Auburn got extremely lucky that #25 for GA came to their rescue.
Ever to conquer, Never to yeild!!!! WAR Eagle. I still get excited watching this and the kick six a week later. Was kicked out of my hotel room due to excessive celebration.
That "fluke play" was justice for the horrible call on the goal line where Murrays knee was clearly down. The deserving team actually won. Just a shame they had to do it twice to get the W
My favorite team is in the SEC East (not Georgia), but I was pulling for Georgia in this game because they are in our division. I always feel bad for the boys after a flubbed play. Think how they must feel. Of course, I'm a mom so I'm thinking like one. Lol.
It was a stupid, selfish play by Josh Harvey-Clemons. He made some good plays for us, but he'll always be remembered for this asinine performance. Intercepting it from your own teammate? He's been kicked off the team now and we are indifferent.
1980 has been a loooong time i hope they keep mark richt forever because he will not ever win a national title. Reminds me of 8-4 Tuberville Minus the undefeated season.
No matter how many great plays Josh Harvey-Clemons made he would always be remembered for this terrible gaffe. It's a moot point now, he smoked himself off the team.
As an AU fan, I might get shit for saying this, but part of me felt bad for UGA. A small part, but a part nonetheless. As sports fans, and as an AU fan in particular, we’ve all had shitty breaks. Just so happens this one wasn’t ours. We got lucky, and I’m happy we did.
It's great to be a Auburn Tiger. Plus, That was the worse call at the goal line, cause the Ga. QB was not in the end zone. That was a poor call. It thats the best the SEC has to offer we are in trouble.
rdc501 What?!?!?! i thought he had 3 knees? his knee was on the AU defender he ran over, stop being stubborn when your shown proof knee on helmet and other knee up i don't understand what angle you see his knee hit the ground?
It's not the NCAA, unfortunately. They need to mandate broadcast requirements, but I don't think they're in a position to do so. ESPN has cameras EVERYWHERE. It's stupid ass CBS that only has ONE camera on the sidelines.
S0SickRick Dude, that's not a helmet in that pic. That's Murray's sweat towel. Here's your proof that Murray's LEFT knee was down: i2.photobucket.com/albums/y41/rscotta831/Georgia2013Murray1_zps633f05dd.jpg And RIGHT knee: i2.photobucket.com/albums/y41/rscotta831/Georgia2013Murray4_zps09b7ecda.jpg
I for one am suprised our dawgs came so close. Yes it was a fluke, but we weren't favorite to win anyway. A bigger fluke wws Mizzou getting to the SEC Championship. Well it will be another close one next year with the dawg offense leaving
You think Mizzou was a fluke? Seems more like they're just good. They were a goalpost away from a perfect regular season. Of course they were aided by Florida and Georgia catching the injury bug, but they had solid wins.
You were favorited to win that game by 3 points. Trust me i know. My dad talked shit to me about that game all week coming up to it but i still convinced him to pick Auburn in his weekly bet. I live in athens now and everyone here respects my team and i sure as hell respect UGA, Until we meet again, i say war eagle, and wish you guys the best of luck this season since im probably gonna go to all the games.
I guess it means nothing that Auburn tallied 320 yards ramming the ball down the throat of your "excellent" run defense. Face it redcoats, Auburn kicked your butts, you stole the game, then Auburn stole it back. Don't kid yourselves.
Outstanding Cruise The thing is Georgia already had the interception without going for the interception. Then #25 makes the bad play of going for the interception over his teammate and can only make the nice tip up of the ball because his own teammate is in the way. Horrible mistake by #25. Literally single handily saved Auburn. Auburn should send GA's #25 a game ball signed by the whole team.
S0SickRick Get your eyesight checked. That's a sweat towel, NOT a helmet.
S0SickRick And the video from where the pics came from: No. 7 Auburn survives No. 25 Georgia, 43-38 LEFT knee hit the ground first, then the RIGHT knee, BOTH before the tip of the ball crossed the goal line.
Georgia is always so close😓 like the time they caught the pass at the 4 and they lost the game in the sec championship against bama if Georgia didn't try to catch either of those it's possible they would have won the national title in 2012 and keep auburn from going to the national title in 2013.
John Smith No it would still be a fluke. The defenition of a fluke is "unlikely chance occurrence, esp. a surprising piece of luck." That was a very good example of a fluke.
Auburn is responsible for two of the most amazing finishes that I've ever seen. This year.
And amazingly this isn't even the best auburn play this year
I imagine the 330 yds rushing & 560 total yards was a fluke also????
After all this time the look on Murray's face is PRICELESS
"a fluke at best", haha their tears taste so sweet. Thank you Harvey-clemons and matthews
"and that ball will beeeeee....OH MY GOD!!!" man I lmao at that part
LMAO!!!
It was "a fluke at best" that the call on the previous series on 4th down was ruled a touchdown. His knee was DOWN. We shouldn't have needed the miracle pass because that should have been an Auburn win at 37-31.
Agreed!
Ball don’t lie

Auburn has had the greatest year ever.
Who were the 3 guys that tipped it? Georgia math? :-)
We had the lead for most of the game and I was there Aaron Murray never got that last TD. WDE WAR EAGLE I SAID ITS GREAT TO BE AN AUBURN TIGER
Your Tigers also blew a 21 point lead, don't pat yourselves on the back too much.

These guys are surprisingly measured given what happened. If it were me, I'd be catatonic.
I couldnt imagine being a Georgia fan in 2013 they were such a great team that got screwed week after week from injures to freak plays.
I'm not superstitious, but '13 was an unlucky year for us. One heartbreak after another.
Be a Bills fan for a year.

Verne Lundquist was sicker than the UGA radio guys. Sad...
He's so Anti-Auburn
***** You are 100% correct on that.
Good teams make their own luck.

I would have loved to heard Larry Munson make that call. LOL War Damn Eagle!!
A fluke? Which one? The Georgia game or the Bama game? War Damn Eagle!
I know this was still 25 seconds left, but IT WAS FOURTH DOWN AND 10 MILES!! KNOCK IT DOWN!!!
It was a stupid, selfish play by Josh Harvey-Clemons. He made some good plays for us, but he'll always be remembered for this asinine performance. Intercepting it from your own teammate? He's been kicked off the team now and we are indifferent.
Fan of neither... that receiver has great awareness of the ball ands everything around him that's what made that play.
UGA bases their seasons on beating AU. 1980 was a good year.
Never forget Aaron Murray wasn’t in on the go ahead TD
1980 has been a loooong time i hope they keep mark richt forever because he will not ever win a national title. Reminds me of 8-4 Tuberville Minus the undefeated season.
ha what's richts record against auburn? I believe it's 8-4 or something, ill keep those odds
That was fun to hear...again.
LOL...who cares if it was a fluke? They're going to the big game, that's all that matters and I, like Mr. Sinista, laughed at the "OH MY GOD!" part.
No matter how many great plays Josh Harvey-Clemons made he would always be remembered for this terrible gaffe. It's a moot point now, he smoked himself off the team.
Who is this play-by-play announcer for Georgia? He's quite good, albeit rather emotional here.
In the right place at just the right time.

still crying, poor murray will never have redemption. cant wait to get the tigers between the hedges next year
Still nothing compared to the later game with one of the most famous plays in college football history.
KICK SIX.
I forgot Georgia loss a nation championship game to Penn State in the late Hall of Famer Joe Paterno in 1983 Sugar Bowl
If you want to cheer yourself up after a bad day- watch this-LOL- TOUCHDOWN AUBURN!
I love listening to the Georgia Radio when they lose lmao.
These Guys Always Want Georgia To Win And I Hate Hearing “We” From Scott and His Partner Eric!
@@vinceniederman I've heard it from this and the Natty where my Tide beat them. Always funny lol

rdc501 What?!?!?! i thought he had 3 knees? his knee was on the AU defender he ran over, stop being stubborn when your shown proof knee on helmet and other knee up i don't understand what angle you see his knee hit the ground?

Ball don't lie.. Murray was NOT in for the TD. Karma
AU used up all their piss luck last year.
Please refer to YOUR SEC Champions.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my God- Touchdown Auburn!
2013 was just downright awesome for Auburn lmao
the miracles ran out against Florida State when FSU caught onto the Auburn coach giving away FSU signs

Fluke at best? LUCK? That is destiny. Don't hate. War MF Eagle.
Love Live Auburn Tigers Football
I'm sorry Georgia lost, but this is why I LOVE college football
I still can’t believe the Seahawks threw the ball
I guess it means nothing that Auburn tallied 320 yards ramming the ball down the throat of your "excellent" run defense. Face it redcoats, Auburn kicked your butts, you stole the game, then Auburn stole it back. Don't kid yourselves.
Three guys tipped it? What is he talking about?
Most UGA fans on here sound like they have zero formal education
They blew it!
That defender made a huge mistake! Too greedy he wanted the interception
Outstanding Cruise The thing is Georgia already had the interception without going for the interception. bigtrukdon Game ball goes to the replay official. If Murray is correctly ruled down, GA's #25 is trying to stop AU from running out the clock.

Mmmm...georgie tears...tastes like vodka!

Hanahahahaha @ Georgia never gets old..was in the end zone
No offense to him, but Josh-harvey Clemons, this is your brain on weed.
typical georgia announcers, cant give credit to the other team
They Always Want Georgia To Win Every Game Which is Stupid!
OMG!!!!!!!!!
Fluke at best!? Can you say sore loosers?
It was a fluke whatever way you look at it.
Damn right. That guys a sore loser.
gunnofsteel67 I bet you wouldn't be saying it was a fluke if you guys caught the ball for a touchdown off of a deflection.
John Smith
No it would still be a fluke. The defenition of a fluke is "unlikely chance occurrence, esp. a surprising piece of luck." That was a very good example of a fluke.
So what if it was fluke if it happened to you guys you would take the win. War Damn Eagle!
stay humble tigers
War Damn Eagle !
Ricardo
THe PAC-12 plays the best football BABY!!!
Thanks, I needed a laugh
A fluke? LMAO- so what? It helped get these Tigers in a National Championship-LMAO- that was just to cool.
Auburn had the luck, UGA did not in 2013.
wow slap them for tiping it up
Fluke this...WDE!!!
I wish ga won
The reaction of the Georgia announcers was eerily similar to the reaction by that nutjob Darriel from Columbus on Finebaum today....
Auburn does it everyone's like "wow lucky fluke BS." RG3-7 does it and "OMG BEST PASS EVER HES PROBABLY BETTER THAN EVERY QB IN THE DRAFT"
EVERYONE GO CHECK OUT THE VIDEO : GEORGIA FANS REACT TO AUBURN TD....IT SSSOOOO FUNNY!!!!!
That's not right Georgia should have won
#wareagle
HAHAHAHA
heh
BS lucky
Bwahahahahahahahahahahaha
Auburn lost in national championship.
Okay? There's always next year. WDE!
Auburn beat Georgia, Alabama and Missouri = SEC CHAMPIONS
