PINK PCB?!?!?! Noice, hehe. It is quite pretty.
Agree with your point about the signature weights, this one is quite nice though.
god i love this kb so much.....
that sounds very nice! I really like the very uniform gasket placement; I really prefer that in gasket mounted boards. I slightly prefer the Envoy more, but it'd be interesting to hear how it sounds with long pole switches.
Also given that it's a PC case, seeing the black gaskets through the case is less than ideal for a $550 keyboard. Perhaps they should have chosen a different design or clear gaskets.
I'm assuming homie thinks the translucent Gameboy is bad too because you can see the internals 🤣🤣🤣
@@offbrandbiscuitNot the point at all. The black gaskets simply doesn't look good at all because of the transparent aesthetic. The QK60 is a much cheaper board but it has white/translucent gaskets.
gmk darling lets go
finally something to versus a kohaku. imo this is so much better😊
I really like this one
No threaded inserts for the PC case? Pass.
Such a pretty keeb
The leaf spring plate looks similar to the Keycult No2?
what's the build on the other gray keyboard?
mode envoy, alu, mode obscuras, and gmk monokai material
Spacebars do often sound a bit more plasticky on PC top boards IME
Y does this sound so simlar to my ginkgo
Sounds just like my QK60
@@DonutMonster13The build and materials are very similar, so yeah it makes sense it sounds similar to the QK60.
@@DonutMonster13 bro really butt hurt about this XD
Ooo.
motto motto motto
🥵
Even though this is a 65%, I really don’t see much setting this apart from the QK60. The poly top, alu botton, sound profile, side/front profile looks almost identical.
Aside from the weight and the arrow keys it looks and sound like the QK60 at premium price point.
It's like the QK60 but with a premium design.
@@silentKeys20 I actually think the features are less premium. The weight being the only exception. Think people look at price points and call it “premium”. QK60 actually show the bottom from the front. Idk, same material, same sound profile, QK has more features and color ways. I’m all for paying more for premium designs but I can name 4 boards who do this the same or better at a better price.
@@DonutMonster13By premium yes I was mainly talking about the weight design. Not sure if it's worth the 300 bucks difference though. I have the QK60 and while I love it the weight is it's weakest point (it looks very bland). Premium price is always arguable in this hobby. I have the Tomo SE and while I like it I wouldn't say it's three times better than say a QK75. Whether something is worth the price is entirely up to you.
If I am paying this price at least I want the option of a clean weight.
looks just like a $200 QK60, how do they justify the $550 price tag? the weight is tiny as well
I have a QK60 and it doesn't really look like it at all.
@@alexotos you right, the QK60 looks better with the gray silicon socks. it blends in with the PC top
Ok buddy
I would have entered this in a heartbeat if there was a full aluminum option. Really hoping they do a full aluminum R2 in the future
I love the mix medium, I had a E7V2 PC was great. I wish I never sold it
I can't find anything about this keyboard on their site or discord. Alex do you know where I can learn more? I'm pretty interested
people keep saying oil king don't miss but i can't stand how gateron factory lube their switch where the impact points for the bottom housing are lubed. I always had to clean them up so that they aren't muted by the lube and have all the switch be consistent.
very much dislike factory lube especially the ones from gateron. the new material are so smooth i wish they would just factory lube the spring alone and it would be so much better and useable stock.
so far from what i've tested azure dragon v2 are like the worst offender. not only the lube is all over the pole and bottom housing pole they are SO SLUGGISH out of the box. clean them up and relubing them made them so so much better. a complete 180 i would say.
Seconded with ending the trend of stock lubing switches. I haven’t found a single switch that wasn’t made better by removing the factory lube and redoing it myself.
SP-Star factory lube is great, just a light coat of thin oil on the sliders, very easy to remove or lube over if you want to, and pretty consistent overall
@@maynardewm from my experience the pearlio switch has an insane factory lube job
@@farlandduck4463 That's because:
1) they're extremely polished not factory lubed (lubing them would only change the sound, not the smoothness - check sushi's video)
2) they're in the same realm of frankenswitches ($$$$) so they should not be compared to mere peasant switches that regular mortals use
3) Gateron treats Zeal like royalty (as they should) so their manufacturing is handled differently in the main processing line
@@offbrandbiscuit i only ever have sp star meteor orange and played with meteor white which like cherry switch only have thin oils on the legs. Haven't try anything newer
its look really good and the brand not from china right? i will buy it!
alex new setup tour when???
the price isnt for me but its really nice!
clean it is
The Lilith is a very nice board but I keep finding my eyes drifting towards the Envoy lol...can't wait for thing
i love all your keyboard builds :') wish i could build like you
Pass, I prefer the Kohaku
@@BreathOfDust pretty sure no one asked but it’s a comment section, who asked for your response either?
Kohaku ain't never missed, but wasn't that a bit cheaper than this too actually
