- For years I've been offering funny slide shows, playing different characters, at meetings, parties, etc. Given COVID 19, I've been doing very little. So as a means of adding some holiday cheer, here's a short piece on Understandin' Redneck Christmas.

I was in a hole of watching videos on this channel, and this one got to me hard. The thought 22 years ago a bunch of cowards killed a kid, a innocent soul who had ambitions, and a heart could have saw this. It's bittersweet. Keep being positive, Mr. Mauser. You truly are a symbol of forgiveness and strength.

I’m commenting today because I’ve been thinking about your story and Daniel recently. Can’t believe it’s been almost 25 years since you lost Daniel. He was such a terrific, smart and brilliant kid. I’m only 20 years old myself and hopefully one day I can have a son like Daniel and become a parent like you. With all of the work you have done for Daniel and for gun violence is very inspiring to me. When I heard that you still wear his shoes makes me cry, so powerful for you as a parent. I am wishing you all love and praying peace on your family.

Thanks. Many times. As I wrote in my book, a special bond formed between us, as we joined together to remove the library and have a new one built in its place. We disagreed on some issues but still were united, cuz nobody else knew what we were going thru like each other.

I believe bullying was a minor factor. I think it was mostly mental illness--one psychopath, one depressed. They came to think they were better than everyone else, yet at the same time I think they actually hated themselves--if that makes sense.

Have you sued the jocks and bullies of Columbine’s 1999 senior class yet? They’re in the yearbook and videos making Eric and Dylan’s life miserable.
And what evidence do you have that that bullying was responsible for them having to murder 13 people and wanting to kill hundreds with their bombs, which would have included people who did not bully them? Or do you believe that everybody in that school was a bully? What the fuck do you know about those two murderers? Do you think you know more than I do? Did you meet with their parents and read the police reports???
@@safemauser Bro, chill. I realize losing your son was and is a horrific experience, and I’m in no way excusing the actions of the perpetrators. The evidence supporting that they were heavily bullied, however, is publicly available, and I am sure you are aware of it: testimonials from many students about how Harris and Klebold would get picked on by jocks and others of Columbine’s upper crust; videos of Harris and Klebold being jostled by a line of white shirts walking toward them; declarations from Harris and Klebold themselves about how they were exacting revenge for being mistreated.
Their bullying may not have been the single or main cause of their violence, but the evidence indicates that it absolutely did contribute to their unraveling, leading to the attack on April 20. At that point, they unleashed the pent-up rage they had against EVERYONE, whether it was someone who bullied them or not. So the idea that they did not target bullies in no way changes this analysis and conclusion. Many who go on homicidal sprees end up targeting people at random, even though those who contributed or gave rise to their vehemence were just a fraction of the whole. Understand what I’m saying?
The jocks and popular crowd from 1997-1999 were an indispensable element in making Eric and Dylan’s lives gradually unbearable, along with the school’s administration that largely condoned the behavior (mostly on account of favoring the school’s sports programs for the prestige and renown it brought).
Eric and Dylan were in CHS from around 1995-1999. Even though the statute of limitations for wrongful death may have expired, filing the lawsuit itself would be brilliantly symbolic. If I were you, I would file suit against (i.e., NAME) every one of the individuals from 1995-1999 against whom any evidence of serious bullying exists. This includes, for example, all of those white shirts ramming against Eric and Dylan in the video of them walking through the Columbine hallways.
If anything, your greater proximity to the matter should only bolster what I’m saying- I don’t need to have interviewed as many people as you to have common sense about the evidence at hand. Eric’s and Dylan’s malignancy was massively exacerbated by the bullies who were essentially allowed free rein by the administration. JeffCo further covered for certain influential or affluent families whose kids contributed to the perpetrators’ states of mind.

You don’t have a clue what it feels like to lose a loved one to gun violence. (Maybe you have lost a loved one to it but I’m just assuming you haven’t considered how you are acting) On top of that, even if it is true that they were bullied, I don’t think filing a lawsuit is gonna do any good. Even though you don’t seem like a troll to me, your comment is still not needed because who are you to tell him what to do. You obviously have done a lot of research on this, and based on how you worded your comment, you seem like a knowledgeable person in the sense that you use smart words to explain yourself. So considering all of that, I just hope you use that intelligence of yours to not be an asshole. Rethink how you interact with people in situations like this, because I honestly don’t see what you are trying to gain from this. It doesn’t matter how much research you did. There isn’t any amount of research that you can do that can make you understand how Tom feels
They were open about how much they hated anyone not like them. Harris was reported to police for his threats to Brooks Brown. In the basement tapes they insulted a Rachel (who may or may not have been Rachel Scott) for her Christian faith. They allegedly called Isaiah Shoels the n-word when shooting him. Sounds like Eric and Dylan were the real bullies...
