    3:20 worth noting under real life vacuum mechanism the roughing usually refer to pump out from 10-7 to 10-3, as turbo pump typically working from 10-3 to 10-2(can be lower to 10-e) operating turbo pump above 10-3 would suffer wear(it would heat up)

    Are there ways to make the reactor stronger or more efficient? Like more laser arrays, or capacitors, or pellet feeders?

    • @oBseSsIoNPC
      @oBseSsIoNPC  16 днів тому

      @@Alex-tc8uj unfortunately only more powerful through the additional laser array as per manual, efficiency cannot be tuned.

      @@oBseSsIoNPC I found out that if you set the core purge to 'Off' during operations, it drastically reduces consumption of H2 and D2O, but keeps up the same energy production.

    • @oBseSsIoNPC
      @oBseSsIoNPC  16 днів тому

      @Alex-tc8uj well yes. That is the way you are supposed to run it :)

      @@oBseSsIoNPC ..I was not aware of that, I thought you kept that on 💀
      What is the point of regular and turbo core purge then?

    • @oBseSsIoNPC
      @oBseSsIoNPC  16 днів тому

      @Alex-tc8uj just a speed difference, but either one works just fine to purge the core.

    Batteries with an input and output?????

    • @oBseSsIoNPC
      @oBseSsIoNPC  Місяць тому

      @@Anomynous the output is what the reactor monitors on the panel. The input is for power up. You can just loop the in and out if you don't want to have a separate battery, in case you lost all power.

    Im having an issue im not sure what im doing wrong, the cryo pump simply wont turn on, its fully repaired and i have a cryo container with helium but it still wont indicate green, even the little blue light on the pump refuses to come on.

      @@RedstarBunny everything else is powered? Sounds like you are not connected to the batteries. Checklist:
      1) power to the reactor (batteries to the inlet arrow)
      2) all components should be at least half green on damage
      3) uninstall and reinstall the cryopump in a different slot
      4) verify the reactor is on battery power and LED illuminated

      @@oBseSsIoNPC yep ive actually been able to start the reactor but had to shut it down since it was getting hot (just reloaded after i realized the damage it did to the shielding) everything is connected but for some reason the pump just doesnt come on despite everything else, even reinstalled it in different ports.

      @RedstarBunny no error message when you flick the switch on the control panel?
      Perhaps the pump is glitched somehow?
      As long as you have enough helium, it should work.
      Try adding a fresh pump in the console (capital matters):
      spawn ItmFusionCryoPump01Loose

      @ I figured it out with some more help, it’s some sort of bug involving signal boxes, I had to connect the pump to it and it instantly turned on but after that I could disconnect it again not sure why this happens but yeah.

    • @oBseSsIoNPC
      @oBseSsIoNPC  2 місяці тому

      @RedstarBunny huh? Never came across that problem and I played a ton with signal boxes. Just comes to show why alpha testing with many people is so crucial. Thanks for the update!

    field coils dont show up after a failed (and almost exploded) reactor, everything else powers on fine and i get to the point of ignition but decided against it. what do?
    i may figure it out by uninstalling it, but thought i'd leave this here for others who may have a similar issue.

    • @oBseSsIoNPC
      @oBseSsIoNPC  Місяць тому +1

      @@daubenyhervis6437 what do you mean they don't show up? Don't show up where, on the panel?
      They are absolutely required and must be in good condition or the reaction will run out of control and the reactor will blow up.
      Remove the reactor, uninstall the field coils and repair them to 100%
      Unless they are glitched somehow, then just spawn in a new set.
