dude, that TV sound is something I heard till i got past 35 years old. Normally it's just kids who can hear it since they are not to damaged yet.
    So good hearing

      not just damage.
you ears naturally lose the ability to hear high pitched sounds as you get older.
kids can hear things old ppl cannot.

it's coil whine from switch mode power supplies, put your ear to your GPU when it's under load, you'll hear it. Especially if you are generating a lot of frames on low raster load.

When I was young, I could hear my parents' bedroom TV with the volume off all the way on the other side of the house. I'm 53 now, losing hearing slightly in the left ear, but I can STILL hear the high pitched hums of some light bulbs and electronics. That and my lifelong tinnitus. My last hearing test showed I had amazing hearing at both ends of the spectrum, but normal range was diminished. Guess I'm just lucky like that. 😒

9:45 The sound everyone was hearing from old TVs is the flyback transformer. Transformers are usually an iron core and have a constantly building and collapsing magnetic field around them, so the core is constantly flexing because of the changing force. Since they're usually only held on one side, this means they tend to vibrate sort of like a tuning fork at whatever frequency the field is running at, in this particular case 15.75 kHz, which is the frequency at which horizontal lines were traced on old NTSC (the standard used in the US and Japan) televisions. The vibration gets worse as the TV aged and the transformer loosened up. 15.75 kHz is at the edge of hearing for humans so most people didn't notice. I certainly did.

The high pitched noise you hear (I hear it all the time also, musicians ear) is "Sympathetic Resonance" vibration, like what happened with the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. It's caused by the small transformers within an electrical device vibrating at just the right frequency (giving the device a small tap will usually stop it)

So weird that I finally played a game BEFORE it showed up on your channel. Normally, I come here to find whatever obscure thing you’ve found that may look interesting.
My only feedback to them was to add variant combat. They are already playing with the obscure “strange” otherworldly plot device, use that to make combat more than just firing cannons like it’s boring real life. Have like Tentacle chain hooks that tether you to enemies, have the ability to summon eldritch horrors, etc.

Your frustration with the grain getting spoiled in transport is actually a fairly common issue, but at least the game is merciful and lets you do a partial delivery. I worked with a trucking company once and recall driver who had his entire shipment of about 20 cases being refused by the buyer because 1 box got damaged in transport. The end result was that the trucking company had to pay the driver plus the expenses related to the truck, and got stuck with a bunch of drink mix concentrate.
