Restart and collect all of the Karmic Transformations! This game can never end! This game just has an amazing feel that you can't let go of! It's a game that'll stay in your heart for a good reason!

This song was...was beyond words when I first heard it during that final boss battle. Letting the conversations play out it happened to work out that the song had looped for me and the part at 1:14 is where it cut back to Ammy with the first prayer hitting her at 1:25 and I just couldn't believe the sheer beauty of the moment. The music, the prayers empowering her, the constellations returning, and then her revealed in her true form. It was beyond gorgeous. Many tears were shed that day.
The greatest soundtrack I've ever heard. Other then the difficulty, Okami is damn near perfect if not perfect. Took Skyrim's spot as my all time favorite game :)
It may not look as good graphically... but let's all be honest here; when a game has this good of a story, characters, soundtrack, gameplay, etc. we don't need good graphics! Okami is one of the few games that deserves the title of masterpiece. I will concede there are some slight technical issues (( my copy crashed more than once )) but it's still an under-appreciated masterpiece.
She didn't exactly grow up, because she didn't have to. All she had to do was listen to the fervent prayers of all of the friends she and Issun made on their journey to gain the strength she was robbed of. By drawing power from the belief in her from her friends, even King Yami's damage to her and the brush gods couldn't stay damaged. By listening to their prayers, she mustered up the power to fight the lord of all evil and fight for her friends, balancing the evil and the light of the world with her dazzling iridescent glow.
Such a beautiful song. I've platinum this game for my PS3 and obtain everything there was to obtain. After five years I have decided to replay Okami, one of my favorites games of all time!!! Even ordered one of the Exclusive editions F4F statue to always remember Okami. How I miss this game and characters so much, makes me sad. So many memories, I remember being heartbroken in the end seeing Ammy leave Issun on the Ark 😢.
There was one thing I could never do, collect 100 Stray Beads. I got 99 but that one where you need to hit that talking walls' 8 weak points, that's the one I never got. What happens when you do collect all 100 ? Do you get an item? If so what's it called and do?

I took forever to get that last one. By far the hardest ever. I used my phone to record the footage over and over until I got it. May have done it for an hour before getting that last one!!!!! Was really intense. I also did it to platinum the game on my PS3. Really happy having that trophy 🏆
@@Matthew-yi3bm When I attempted it my "solution" was a bit more primitive. I have never played a re-release of this, just the original PS2 one. My "solutions" were two variants of the same thing. After the weak spots flashed I'd dip my finger in a cup of water and poke my CRT TV screen where the glowing dots were. My hope was I could see the wet spot when it was time to use the celestial brush to poke them in game. Surprisingly after that method failed I replaced my finger and water for a dry erase marker. It's nice to finally know what happens when you get all 100 of those beads. Sounds like you can beat the game in under 5 minutes with that String of Beads item.
I want to play this game so badly. I'm dying to try Okami and see just why so many people love this game. Just watching clips make me stare in awe. I can already tell, it's a true and very well put together art game, and I haven't even played it yet.

(When something doesn't quite make sense. Also, yes, I am only on my first book and I have planned out at least two more) and "How do I give more of an Okami feel to this? (When I'm trying to make the audience root for the heroes). The second thing I do, is listen to this, and think about all of the story and emotion packed into the single cut scene this song plays in.
Please goddammit make Amaterasu a smash character! I know she's already in MVC3, but if she were in smash, a bigger audience would be made aware of her existence and the existence of this game. That way more people could experience the wonder, adventure and even emotion mixed into this amazing game.
Why? I really love this game I love it so much that its the only game in my posession which I actually completed 100% but I also thought that it could have been harder at some points. The hardest parts where the Demon Gate with the 3 Nagis, the Blockhead Grande and the fight with Oki (only fight i ever died and got resurrected by stomache) The rest was a little easy but the amazing world where you could explore so much, the music, the art and everything are too amazing to let that be a flaw

i've had this game for the wii ever since it came out. and i've beaten it more then 67 times. my brother says i can hold the record for the most times this game has been beaten. i can beat it in 10 hours. i find that the graphics in the first game are much better then the second.
I wasn't saying the Okamiden soundtrack was bad. It's just that you cannot expect a console game's soundtrack to be upstaged by a portable one's. What I'm saying is, they're both awesome, and go WAY above expectations.

I've played Okami and completed it over 6 times. I love this game that I am using proper gramma and punctiuation. Even though I have completed Okami over 6 times I always have a good time. It forces my emotions to show. It can evoke everyones emotions to show. I am always hapy to listen to the beggining, all the sad, happy, frightening, and exilirating times in this game. But I can never not cry when Amaterasu (AKA Ammy) has to leave Issun. (AKA Bug) It always makes me cry next thing.-

The hardest parts where the Demon Gate with the 3 Nagis, the Blockhead Grande and the fight with Oki (only fight i ever died and got resurrected by stomache)
The rest was a little easy but the amazing world where you could explore so much, the music, the art and everything are too amazing to let that be a flaw

i've had this game for the wii ever since it came out. and i've beaten it more then 67 times. my brother says i can hold the record for the most times this game has been beaten. i can beat it in 10 hours. i find that the graphics in the first game are much better then the second.

I wasn't saying the Okamiden soundtrack was bad. It's just that you cannot expect a console game's soundtrack to be upstaged by a portable one's. What I'm saying is, they're both awesome, and go WAY above expectations.
This game is awsome and had the best soundtrack in history of games. I look back on i now and i think "how is this game so underrated?" its on the same awsome level as legend of zelda in my mind. Now days people play shooters and games with blood and rock music as a soundtrack and probably gonna be like that forever. but games as perfect as this with amazing orcastra themes will be in my heart forever, i hope capcon comtinues making this series. :*)
Even though my Wii isn't working and I don't have the game, I GUARENTEE you that it will be the best game in your life. I also wish, that when I die, this will be played at my funeral. :'D
this sountrack is pure gold, something that should be remembered, something that shows us the emotions video games are capabale of evoking.
whenever i'll hear the argument that video games should be banned and are nothing more but pure evil, the person saying something like that should be shown this game, i don't think a person with a heart and a basic understanding of art could say that this isn't amazingly beatiful :)

I've played Okami and completed it over 6 times. I love this game that I am using proper gramma and punctiuation. Even though I have completed Okami over 6 times I always have a good time. It forces my emotions to show. It can evoke everyones emotions to show.
I am always hapy to listen to the beggining, all the sad, happy, frightening, and exilirating times in this game. But I can never not cry when Amaterasu (AKA Ammy) has to leave Issun. (AKA Bug) It always makes me cry next thing.-

this is in my top 5 games of all time! and i've played many games so that is saying alot! such an amazing adventure pure beauty at times. just don't get much better. i honor the game! and yes it deserved game of the year! shame it so under the radar!!!! but i don't think many people would appreciate the beauty they are to busy playing mindless shooters/hack n slash games.
