Ah「Reset」, this song, this game, even after four years, it has always been, and will always be, the most heart-moving, heavily-impacting game I have ever played in my life. Now, to complete my experience, I would need the original Japanese PS2 version.
Shadow of the Colossus is a tragic game that nearly left me in tears (maybe it would have had I not been spoiled about the ending). But this scene in Okami has left me in tears multiple times. Simply listening to this cover is bringing tears to my eyes. SotC is one of the greatest games I've played, but Okami is the absolute best game I've ever played.
It's amazing what music can do to you. While the original sounds happy, this version sounds absolutely beautiful, hopeful, and even somewhat sad. It makes me want to cry but also be happy at the same time. I actually haven't beat Okami yet. I've only had it for two months or so. But all the while, even if I've only reached Taka Pass, I'm having a completely wonderful experience. This game is a masterpiece, a amazing piece of art. I'm sure even more so as I play on. This song......it represents a point in my life where...... I lost almost everything except a game, the system to play it, a banboo flute (exactly like Waka's.) , and my family........I lost my voice but I sang in a different way.....I love this game and this song. The art in this game touched my soul. In a world of unkind people and painful memories, it stands to show that we do not have to be the same way. Currently learning this piece on the piano. It feels so good to be able to play a majestic peice like this. Okami is a really memorable game, and you can relate to it. You start out as an alomst powerless wolf with the title "Sun God". But, you progress, keep going, until you become strong enough to even defiy fate, or the inevitable...
if Okami taught me anything i need to work hard to earn the things i need i cant just sit around and hope things to work out themselves... I just hope the world can have peace one day in the future
Wow, this is one of my most favorite songs on the piano. I haven't gotten to play the game in full, but I started to learn how to play this on the piano....almost done with it too!
Nearly the entire soundtrack. Not to mention you can easily find and print sheet music out online for this. Personally I learned this [exact] from the start up to 2:11 . I need to practice the rest of it.
And, now I'm up to 4:04. I really need to dedicate more time to playing the piano. Granted from the start up to the 2:11 mark is pretty beginner sorta stuff and there's a vast difficulty curve at 2:11 with the arpeggios. Slow progress is still progress.

Capcom owns the rights to Okami, so I don't think Nintendo can legally put Ammy in Smash without some sort of deal with Capcom. As far as I know, Nintendo's only relationship with the Okami franchise is the Wii port of Okami, and the DS-exclusive Okamiden.
I get pure nostalgic meltdown when just beginning to think of Okami,succh a good game,like @antitank01 said,nothing has ever touched my heart like Okami has,what a pure nostalgic Japanese game,people may not like it,but I'm just glad a game like this exists,and that I get to play it,just an extroardinary peice of Japanese art.
The most touching and beautifully evolving in case of scenario game is Okami... Though by all means the scarriest games are SCP-087 and Slender Man... Those 3 games (of course along with Portals) are my favs in all terms...

I do not love the game itself just because it has a wolf in it, that's not even close to the important part of the game, it's the calm state of mind you feel whilst playing it, the music, atmosphere, and even the smallest pixel of the game had a warm feeling to it. Even without a wolf included, heck, even if it was a squirrel, it would still be the most amazing game toe exist. Okami forever.~
i can play this on my clarinet :'( i cried at this part cause even the people who didn't believe amaterasu was a gad were praying for her.... it makes you think that everybody whether a god or not can make a difference
