Thank you for a wonderful update. Your tree is growing well and gives me hope for mine that I am currently still growing indoors. All the best and looking forward to an update. ❤❤🌻🌻🌿🌿🌾🌾
This is so nice to hear my friend. How old is your tree? They really suffer indoor, so I would suggest to put it outdoor if the temperature is not too cold 🤞🏼💚
@@howtogrowfromseed I live in Brooklyn NY in an apartment, and my little tree is only a few months old. I cannot put it outside because the winters are still harsh here. I will look into giving it away if I cannot keep it. There are wonderful botanical gardens here in the city, and I think they would welcome tree donations. Thanks so much for your advice.
I see. When the weather forecast will forsee a frost you can bring it indoor. If you generally keep it indoor in winters and outdoor in summers it on't have problems like the one in this video ua-cam.com/video/miIAdbnuAbg/v-deo.html which is mainly due to the lack of humidity indoor. Good luck 🤞🏼
Someone who actually updates their progress
Love from Saudi Arabia, I'm currently planting 9 avocado. I know they can't survive the heat here but currently its 42 degree and rhey still alive so I'm having a hope
Cool
Wow!! great progress.. ❤ please keep us posted with latest and when we can expect fruits , do we need male and female tree? How does pollination works.
Hello, I will. I will make a video about it 😊
It looks beautiful! I have 5 plants on the go and I'd love to have them outside more but I'm not sure they'd like the UK weather. I like the wooden supports that you've used. I was thinking of doing something similar so that they've got a bit of help when it's windy 😊
They defenitily do not like UK weather. I'm also growing in the UK and the winter is difficult. The cold would kill a young avocado and the wind pulls them down. That is why I put quite a few cords around it attached to the fence. Good idea to support them as they can't make it on their own ✌️❤️👍
please do grafting on this please
Looks very very healthy now. Where are you living? I'm in Colorado. I planted an avocado seed this summer and I was searching to see should I continue it. Wish I could show you how.fast it grew. We are about to start hard freeze here this night for the coming winter season so I took it indoors. Its in a huge pot that has chives with it. So excited. When do you expect to produce fruit? This next year or?
Oh, that is nice! You did well bringing it in for winter if the tree is still so young. After the spring is back in put it outdoor again as it likes the humidity. Mine is in London, and it gets pretty chill in winter as well. But this year that is 3 years old, I will leave it outdoor as it became quite woody. Fruit, it can produce it from next year yes, so excited, however, it can take many years before it does it. If it doesn't do it next year I will graft it.
Hey thanks a lot for the update, love from India, I was just wondering if you would have sown it in the ground, probably it would have grown faster, what are your thoughts !?!
Yes, definitely. I left it in the pot to be able to bring it inside in winter.
Mine dide last summer😢
