- arks & Spencer Christmas advert 2023 stars Hannah Waddingham, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Zawe Ashton. M&S Christmas 2023: Hannah Waddingham, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Zawe Ashton join Tan France in advert. 'Twas the month before Christmas and Marks & Spencer has dropped a surprise with festive advertising which is sure to jingle some bells. In a television campaign that will run from today, M&S appears to be encouraging shoppers to do what they want this Christmas, instead of being hidebound by endless chores, the demands of others and the tyranny of festive perfection. Using a starry line up of singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor, actresses Zawe Ashton and Hannah Waddingham, and TV star Tan France, the M&S missive for 2023 is to put yourself and your own needs first.

It’s pure satanism. They replaced the name of Christ with This and they are promoting Do what makes you happy. Do as thou wilt is a satanic mantra
No, it isn't. This is about people being forced to live up to expectations no matter what and how we all have our breaking point. In other words, you can celebrate Christmas without conforming to commercialized expectations. This wasn't about the kids or family... it was about the bad side of Christmas because certain things are expected no matter how stressful or overworked people are.

Wow that embraces all the traditional themes into one positive Christmas message. Well done Marks. (Insert sarcasm)
Judging by Twitter it looks like potentially millions of people are really annoyed, another mass boycott is on the way and the crushing of another huge company lmao
What do you expect from a company that despises Christians?
What like family arguments? Getting drunk and throwing stuff around? And to top it off using a flame thrower to set the place alight? Sounds about right to me...hehehehe...
Traditional themes: greed, gluttony, drunken arguments, increased domestic violence, spending yourself into debt (hundreds take out loans just to be able to ''afford'' Christmas), family fights, mum spending hours in the kitchen without help making food that gets thrown away, lots of effort put in which is totally unappreciated by anyone else. Looks to me as though they've got the REAL MODERN CHRISTMAS perfectly.
