    I have been using the first generation of this product for quite a while. I’ve really liked it. Thanks for sharing the review of the Gen 2.

      Thanks for watching! I have the old version too and I miss the locking top of that one but I do prefer the lower legs of the Gen2. I guess we'll have to wait for the Gen3. Please subscribe.

    I’ve been debating between this and the new magpul moe bipod

    • @Moondog2A
      @Moondog2A  2 роки тому

      The Magpull are faster to deploy. But for the price, these are well worth it.

      I wish Magpul would make this style.

    To get the bipod level when bench shooting, do you just screw the feet up or down a tad bit or does that not work ? Considering these for one of my grandkids that shoot rimfire in an aftermarket chassis.

      @Moondog2A  4 місяці тому +1

      I have to make fine height adjustments too to get it level.

    Silicon carbide + epoxy should solve the grip issue

    Can these be attached onto a rail?

    • @Moondog2A
      @Moondog2A  Рік тому

      No, these are MLok only. They may make a Picatinny version?

  • @prestonknaack

    Would you recommend these for hunting since they don’t have cant and swivel?

    • @Moondog2A
      @Moondog2A  2 роки тому

      Depends on the hunting? If you're driving out to a blind/stand then absolutely, yes! But if you're going out stalking in the back country, I wouldn't want the extra weight of this or any bipod. Also are you culling pests? If that's the case, you may want a swivel as you'll be engaging multiple targets in rapid succession as the pack/herd bolts. But in general, for the price and the build quality the answer is: yes. Please subscribe to this channel.

      For what kind of shooting? What distance? Semi or bolt?

    Will this bipod design fit onto a Magpul Hunter stock? M
    Lok I understand...I am mostly concerned about the fore end angle of the stock and the fit of this bipod. Thank you in advance.

    • @Moondog2A
      @Moondog2A  Рік тому

      Not sure since I don't have a Magpul Hunter stock. But if I recall the Hunter has a slightly inner cant? But very slight, right?

    • @teaminvictus2375
      @teaminvictus2375 Рік тому

      @@Moondog2A Thank you for your response. Yes, it has a slight cant...I found a couple of other reviews of the first generation Recon Flex and they fit the stock just fine...I think the 2nd gen will do so as well. Once I get it on there I will update. Have a great day all.

      @good_brake 7 місяців тому +1

      I have these on my hunter stock. They fit just fine, though be aware the slight cant of the stock increases the angle between the bipod legs.

    Seems like this design gets rid of a lot of unnecessary bulk/weight.

      Bulk yes. Don't know if noticeably lighter than a Harris.

      None as far as I can tell. But I will ask at that at the UTG booth next SHOT Show.
