FAB Defense Spike bipod is probably the best $100 bipod I've used with Magpul MOE and standard bipods, Harris bipods, and MDT Oryx bipods some of the ones I've own in that price point. MDT GRND bipods are excellent for $200 and ACCU-TAC are the best premium bipods I've owned at $280-$400 depending on what model you buy, where you buy it and whether or not it's on sale. I recommend finding a QD solution whether that be an Mlok to pic adapter pic to QD mlok adapter, Arca or ARM17 and make a standardization on your primary rifles. Bipods are one of those things that don't seem like a good investment but you'll seriously utilize a bipod EVERY SINGLE RANGE TRIP if you have one that suits your needs in your toolbox. There are also tripods but that's a whole other level of price point. Edit: I've been pleasantly impressed with most UTG products too. Haven't tried this one but people like to hate on UTG but for 90% of shooters out there, they do the job.
I just received mine in today and played with it a little bit. I noticed when you swung the legs down how easy it was, but on mine they are very stiff. Would you recommend some type of lubrication at the top leg swivel points or will they eventually loosen up with use?
@@abhithakur90 Not that I’m aware of. Odin Wirks has a 3 way ARCA rail that might let you use it as-is, if it fits your application. www.midwayusa.com/product/1025209911
I'm looking to buy a bipod and am very unhappy with the Harris bipod because it flexes so much once I lean into the rifle. What's the flex like with this one? I just don't have $700 for an AccuTac.
The tension on the ball is adjustable with the lever, so you can pretty much lock it down so there’s no motion at all. I got my first one thinking “it’s only $80 and I can put it on a secondary rifle if I wasn’t completely satisfied. It’s still on my primary rifle and I have 2 more now. lol. If you get one keep me posted on how it does.
I'm still researching it, but I'm actually considering the UTG Big Bore Full Stability Bipod, despite it's weighing 2 pounds. This is for a Steyr Tactical Heavy Barrel in .308 that I just bought a Steyr SSG 04 stock for and have a Burris Eliminator III scope on. Have you laid your hands on one of those UTG Big Bore bipods yet?
@@RealCptHammonds I haven’t. Lol. It looks pretty robust though. And has the lever to adjust tension on the left/right roll. If you get it give me a review !! 😉😂

Nice Thanks, i bought a FAB
I was looking into the Magpul bipod but may have to check this one out a little closer. Thanks for the video! Keep up the good work
I was in the same position. If you decide to go magpul, try their tab from my Linktree. I’ll earn some common but honestly think the UTG is better. 😂😉
The magpul is great on ar’s. Don’t think I’d put it on anything else though

Of the 3 I’ve had one was definitely stiffer when new. It’s still tight but is loosening up a bit.
I am looking to get this one. Is there a way to swap the mlok to a arca clamp on it ?

I am needing a bipod for an air rifle. I have been looking at these. I think you just sold me on it!!!!
@@northtexasairgunner Awesome! It’s the best $80 I’ve ever spent on a bipod. 😉
