- Needed a new Bipod for a rifle, and yup I fell down that rabbit hole.
.
Decided to give some of the cheap ones you see on amazon a try.
Spoiler alert they aren't that great.
.
CvLife Bipod.
Paid $15.
Cons: Feels cheap, Flimsy, Not sure it will last.
Pros: Spring loaded legs, Grippy feet, Mount seems solid.
.
CHDN (Atlas Clone).
Paid ($24 Gold) ($30 Black)
Cons: Very Gritty, Adjustment not easy, Screws rotate getting tight/loose. Mount doesn't seem solid, Feet are slippery plastic not rubber. Will most likely Return.
Pros: None
.
BIPOD MLOK.
Paid ($51)
Cons: None Yet.
Pros: Feels a lot like my MagPul MOE. Easy adjustments, No button to release legs. Feet are nice semi soft grippy rubber. Mount feels solid, Doesn't need any adapter (Mlok Design).
.
Going to test them out, and get back to you guys with my opinions. Don't forget to subscribe still pushing toward my 1k subscriber goal, and it makes me happy. Plus its FREE!
"Believe it or not, Im going to mount this"
Man if I had a dollar for every time I've said that returning home from the bar.
And another dollar for saying " you can put spikes on it if thats what youre into"
😂
Needed this. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Cheap means poorly made. Affordable means well made at a low price
Agreed, and I’d say that sums it up 😝.
The atlas copy can be fixed with 2 orings and some loctite. Been using a couple of them for years and they are good
I’ve seen guys comment that on some places that sell them. If that is all it takes I’d say it’s a great buy.
I have a carbon fiber version. The only solid part of it was the base.
Yup 👍🏻 😝 thanks for watching
Hi kitty your nice cat has come to help .nice
Sounds like this review started out with a biased opinion.
To be honest if I’m biased it wouldn’t be to any of these. I like MDT, Accutac, and Harris. These were some budget options I just picked up to try them out based on reviews.
@@2A_CaliGuy Right on! I wish you the best in your efforts and success.
This is not valid until you actually test these devices. Anyone can buy them and just look at them. This is not designed to attack you but meant to increase your viewership.
I completely understand, and sadly the only test I needed for some was the fact that they come loose, and or become increasingly difficult to operate. For those reasons I decided not to field test them as they didn’t even meet my standards upon installation, and basic bench top manipulation made up my mind.
Excellent answer. Thank you.
