I LOVE "EM! Chicana from Los Angeles, when younger my Mom and Grandmother made this on Sunday's when we drove out to our rancho. They made a salsa and poured that sauce over the fried pig feet, along with Spanish style rice and beans, 'n homemade flour tortillas. Roll that pig foot in your flour tortilla, Mmmm mmmmm mmmm! That was some good eating ❤. AND, no, this is not garbage food! It is Chicano Soul Food. Thank you for sharing. Rosie from Cali...
This is “true country food”, I grew up on fried pig feet, pig feet cooked in white beans, pig ear sandwiches, smoked pig tails, pig tails in cabbage. My Dads theory was simple, “It’s what we have for dinner, eat or don’t eat at all”. These with a pot of greens, some Pot Liquor in a cup with pinto beans and cornbread, that’s a meal. Dad always said, “If you go home hungry, its your own fault.”
You are right, cooked oxtails are up to 30$ a plate at mikki’s in pearland. i guess i won’t be eating any because that’s just ridiculous to charge that for oxtails!!!But i love them so! Good video chef!👍🏿
