    In actuality, these are a large part of the basis of 'gospel chops' as it stands. So much fun to dabble and tinker with. Rock on Eddie.

      Sure! It's just the way you look at it. Chops are also just blocks or groupings.... It's all the same, I like to call it different because chops has this certain 'stylistic trade' to it. And I want to share that these are not just chops, but very useful as fills and vocabulary in general!
      For me, that's what this is about. Creating a universal language for drummers to build more freedom.

    Awesome stuff! I took some screenshots to practice these blocks around the kit. I’ve also been working on 16th note triplet variations on the snare/practice pad/around the toms…I have come up with some cool stuff and brought it up to speed. I’m looking forward to your next video on integrating the bass into these!
