@symptomoftheuniverse3862 Korn and Slipknot were always Nü Metal bands, just like Limp Bizkit. Korn created Nü Metal even before Limp Bizkit. Each one of them have their own unique sound, but they're all in the same genre.
Seen them twice live in England early 2000’s - amazing both times. Seen limp bizkit and linkin park back then also. Keep up the good work and enjoy the journey. Korn falling away from me if haven’t done it yet
I was only 18 when this came out, here in Texas I actually appreciated meeting people from California and New York and other places that introduced me to nu metal, felt like this music was made for my generation, and I have to say thank you for your genuine reaction man it was awesome, that's the same way I felt. I might be the first Texan to say I have nothing bad to say about Cali because without them we wouldn't have Korn and amongst many others as well. 🤘🏽
This is a lite version of KoRn but it’s a good track. What I like most about the vid is the end, with all those different bands hanging, all good friends together, and they got the life.
Missed you bro! Always a good day watching your reactions! Thank you sir🤘🏼🔥! Also, we need more Tool🌀! Have you done .H or Jimmy yet? Both are excellent!!
Korn is one of those bands that you totally get or you don’t really understand what it is and what the lyrics mean. I feel like people that grew up with pain and disappointment can really relate to the band. Sad but true..no pun intended
2:30 I've never seen anyone catch onto the lyrics of a Korn song as fast as you did. 🙌
Fieldy (the bassist, rattling with the drums) grew up in LA around hip hop and brings those influences to the band… fuckin love Fieldy 🤘🏻
This song is heavily Hip Hop influenced. Korn turned Nü Metal mainstream with this hit 🔥
Mainstream isn’t something to brag about most of the time
Don’t forget that Eminem was in this video at the end
@@thischannelisstilldead5645 I know. But he was just an underground artist at that time. He only became widely known in 1999, with The Slim Shady LP.
The term 'Nu Metal' was hated because it lumped great bands like Korn and Slipknot(THE original line up) with Limp Bizkit.

Many people don't know that KoRn is from Bakersfield, CA. The city even established their own street sign behind the Arena/Convention Center 🤘🏻🔥
We know where they are from
Listening to this in my brothers Legacy loud as f in 98 lol
For real. Late 90's created but at it's peak in the early 2,000's
My favorite Korn song 🔥🔥
Follow the Leader is their best overall album IMO. Worth an album reaction for sure.
Glad you are back!! You know I love Korn so this was great to see. Nice catch on WC in the vid.
@@t21luv let’s goo. And thanks

Yeah this one - video is fucking hilarious
love your commentary , my man,,,frfr
Glad you enjoyed
This song & many songs by ALL bands! Alternative & Hip-Hop collaborations. I'm also happy for Brian Welch for giving his Life to Jesus Christ 🙏🏼
I could be wrong and I’m too lazy to fact check, but I think the drummer is self taught

Jonathan tried to get an Adidas endorsement like Run DMC, they turned them down but Puma picked him up, which is he's in the whole Puma suit and gear.

If you look closely at the end of the video you can see Eminem before he got famous.
I didfdd
I did a random pick of music..... found this band that sound very similar to Korn.... they are Chaoseum "Smile Again"......
