The story in my opinion: - Gray Mann send The Ultimate Tank to bomb the underground facility, where all of the important data - including the respawn machine - were kept. And send horde of unarmed (or armed with no ammo) robots to act as a blockade to prevent the mercenaries from stopping the tank. - Engineer was maintaining the facility and couldn't come out to fight. He send the signal for his fellow mercenaries to come save the facility. - Heavy was the first one to arrived at the battlefield but he was blocked by a hoard of robots. He might be able to fight through them if he tried, but he knew that he will not be able to reach the tank in time. - Scout, Soldier and Demoman then rushed to the field, ignoring the robots and moved as fast as they could to reach the tank. - Sniper, who was patrolling the area, knew that he won't be able to damage or stop the tank. So he just observed the event and waited for the end. - Soldier and Demoman was trying to use the shortcut and flanked the tank, but Gray had ordered the Giant Pyroes to block the way. Knowing that they had no time to fight with the robots, Soldier and Demoman had to changed their path to went around the Pyroes. - Using BONK! , Scout was able to reach the tank and prevented the bomb droping into the hatch just in time. He used all of his strength to try to pushed the bomb back. But his power, even combine with Soldier's strength, was not enough and the Ultimate Bomb was going to be delivered. - In the end, Demoman had to sacrificed himself and his teammates's life by destroyed the bomb above the ground with his mighty sword to protected the facility. His deed will not be in vain as long as the respawn machine is saved, which it was, right? ...Right?

The Giant Pyrobots are not the spy, they just didn't attack the Soldier and Demoman because their purpose were to block the way and slow the mercenaries down so the tank can do its job. As for its thumbs up, I guess it's trying to taunt the Demoman and the Soldier. Like, "Good thinking trying to go this way, human. Too bad your way of thinking is so obvious that my master sent me here in advance so you shall not pass! What are you gonna do, fight me? I want to see you try!" or something like that. 2. I can see some Bonk! and Crit-a-Cola cans at 01:47 and the way the Scout ran faster than before, so I assume he drank some Bonk! to achieved super speed (and maybe super strength from Crit-a-Cola to push the atomic bomb back). 3. He's holding the bomb with his hand directly in the fire because he's The Soldier. Which, in my opinion, more badass than Chuck Norris. (lol) And wow! MvM War Part 2 is out!! Gotta go see it now! :D
Guys... it's a metaphor for a bad MvM team. You've got the AFK engineer sitting in the spawn, the huntsman-wielding sniper who totally fails to do anything useful, the soldier who didn't upgrade his ammo capacity, the heavy who's completely out of position, the demoknight ('nuff said) and finally: the single skilled scout who has to carry the entire team. You can't tell me that this doesn't look familiar.
I dont know why i keep coming back to watch this, Probably because its one of the best sfm's of all time. The Build up to them delivering the bomb to scout single handling stopping it until his team gets to help was just perfect. The music to, Evangelion's ost worked great here and i cant imagine a better sountract for it. If there is a 2020 best sfm's all all time this better be on it.

This reminds me of a time when I was playing wave 666 and a ton of giant robot soldiers was spawn camping us with robo medics and one of the soldiers was carrying the bomb, then I had a tele far from base and there weren't other enemies coming until we killed the spawn campers, I had a Eureka effect... I start shooting them and they almost found my tele but I got them away and everyone was like FREEDOM, but then the incoming enemies crushed us.
It would be more epic if all 9 classes lifted the tank. Scout,soldier and demo:what they did in the vid Medic:can uber himself and help scout Heavy:Pull the tank backwards Engi:Breaks open the tank Sniper:Throw piss into the tank where the engi opens Pyro:Burns the inside of the tank Spy: Saps
I've seen people saying that the engie and sniper should have done something. The engie most likely had his sentry destroyed, (Being an engie and getting you sentry destroyed in the middle of a round is devastating, there really isn't anything you can do.) and snipers aren't the greatest class for that map or MvM over all in my opinion.
Sniper is nowhere near the most powerful class in MvM. If you are talking about taking out medics, demo does this well and even spies can do this. If you are talking about damage output, a half decent engineer, heavy, demo or soldier will easily outclass the sniper. You may have one in place of a demoman but it is nowhere near as good as a great demo.
Best cinematography I have seen in an SFM in... a long time. This is just... wow. Absolutely amazing. You, sir, have talent. You could work in making a full length movie for Hollywood or something, this really is just fantastic
I wish you can do this in the game, where you can avoid the tank from putting the bomb in. And the others have to protect the 1/2 player(s) to stop the tank.
This should be a plugin or update where, if you're a Scout, you can stand under the bomb and mash the space bar to keep it from deploying for ten extra seconds. Drawback: you would always die when the ten seconds are up, unless the tank was destroyed. If you're a Soldier on the same team as the Scout, you can rocket jump onto the top of it and maybe mash the ctrl button to hold the bomb up. Drawback: You would sustain fire damage at a constant rate, slowly killing you, unless the tank was destroyed.
Mortis Dredd I think you should be a heavy if you want to stop the tank deploying the bomb, because it would fit in with the heavy being the strongest player in the game. Plus, if the scout (who isn't exactly made for destroying tanks) were to be under the bomb, the team would still be getting a fair chance to destroy the tank. Instead, to compensate for having extra time, the team should give up a stronger character.

well, to answer most of ur questions, except for the friendly pyro, this sfm is based of the scene from rebuild of evangelion 2.22 go search for sahaquiel evangelion rebuild on yt and u would see that this sfm is basically a tf2 reimagining of that scene

STATS My opinion for the stast its Only 1 person can use the taunt for stop the bomb. When u stop the bomb the enemiges hit u whit minicrits and the taunt hurt 6 points of hp per 10 seconds. why that of hurt u? Becouse when scout stop the bomb in 1 part his arms start to bleed
kikizana He doesnt really suck, but rather it requires alot of practice time and skill to really utilize the sniper efficiently in mvm. It's rather more or so knowing how to use him then basing things off of first hand looks.

I saw the title, and the soldier in the thumbnail, and thought the soldier would be facing off against a tank in his little taunt tank, but then I saw the release date. 2013.

Few things to say: 1. That was FACKING AMAZING!!! 2. Sniper is being totally useless. 3. Demo actually saved them all, as a. it was obvious scout and soldier were about to die, and b. the tank doesn't kill anyone until the bomb actually goes in the bomb hole.
I know this was meant to be a remake of a scene from a move,but...the sniper,heavy,and engineer see all this crazy shit going on,yet they stay where they are and watch from the sidelines...if they came in,the heavy/soldiers strength alone probably would have been enough to hold back the bomb for a while. (If you look at how the soldier pulls up the bomb a couple of inches like nothing,think what the heavy could do) Now think,if they all came and helped scout,the bomb would be able to do shit with all their strength combined,and the bomb probably would have been stopped.
Well I'll have you fucking know, The heavy was at the front with all the fucking robots at the start, how is he going to get through it? The scout has the speed to bob and weave through all the robots. The demo has damage resistences and speed from the shield and the soldier can rocket jump. The sniper doesn't do much damage against the tank hence why you shouldn't attack it as a sniper. The snipers job is to destroy the bomb carriers especially and large groups of enemies and giants.

The reason for the soldier, scout, demo, and heavy coming from the back of the robots is because they we trading hats when they relised the bomb was reaching the whole. Sniper was the only one in my opinion doing what he was supposed to do and group of robots at bay, but he couldn't destroy the tank since his guns weren't strong enough.
We can all only hope one day part 2 makes a glorious return. It was so brilliant in terms of visuals effects and musical direction in specific. (For those who remember them; scenes like the bullet deflection between heavy and the giant, the laser beam of doom when fully charged, etc.) it was a surprisingly emotional crossover between the two IPs and the people unable to view it are being deprived of hard work in sfm.
For anyone who doesn't understand: This is based on the movie Rebuild of Evangelion 2.22. Or is it 2.0? X3 Any other Evangelion fans around who know? Btw, I LOVE this video! :D
Even though Soldier wasted all his rockets rocket jumping, him, Scout and Demoknight basically won the game with their sacrifices and that's what I like to see in MvM, players giving it their all to destroy the enemy eben if they have to get themselves killed for the team

I went demoknight on MVM, did pretty well, used half-zatochi and upgraded +2 seconds of crits after a kill.

This reminds me of a time when I was playing wave 666 and a ton of giant robot soldiers was spawn camping us with robo medics and one of the soldiers was carrying the bomb, then I had a tele far from base and there weren't other enemies coming until we killed the spawn campers, I had a Eureka effect... I start shooting them and they almost found my tele but I got them away and everyone was like FREEDOM, but then the incoming enemies crushed us.
It would be more epic if all 9 classes lifted the tank.

I've seen people saying that the engie and sniper should have done something. The engie most likely had his sentry destroyed, (Being an engie and getting you sentry destroyed in the middle of a round is devastating, there really isn't anything you can do.) and snipers aren't the greatest class for that map or MvM over all in my opinion.

Quinn Sargent Sniper is arguably the most powerful class available in MvM.
Sniper is nowhere near the most powerful class in MvM. If you are talking about taking out medics, demo does this well and even spies can do this. If you are talking about damage output, a half decent engineer, heavy, demo or soldier will easily outclass the sniper. You may have one in place of a demoman but it is nowhere near as good as a great demo.
Best cinematography I have seen in an SFM in... a long time. This is just... wow. Absolutely amazing. You, sir, have talent. You could work in making a full length movie for Hollywood or something, this really is just fantastic

This should be a plugin or update where, if you're a Scout, you can stand under the bomb and mash the space bar to keep it from deploying for ten extra seconds. Drawback: you would always die when the ten seconds are up, unless the tank was destroyed. If you're a Soldier on the same team as the Scout, you can rocket jump onto the top of it and maybe mash the ctrl button to hold the bomb up. Drawback: You would sustain fire damage at a constant rate, slowly killing you, unless the tank was destroyed.

Mortis Dredd I think you should be a heavy if you want to stop the tank deploying the bomb, because it would fit in with the heavy being the strongest player in the game. Plus, if the scout (who isn't exactly made for destroying tanks) were to be under the bomb, the team would still be getting a fair chance to destroy the tank. Instead, to compensate for having extra time, the team should give up a stronger character.

go search for sahaquiel evangelion rebuild on yt and u would see that this sfm is basically a tf2 reimagining of that scene

kikizana He doesnt really suck, but rather it requires alot of practice time and skill to really utilize the sniper efficiently in mvm. It's rather more or so knowing how to use him then basing things off of first hand looks.
Sniper can be one of the most helpful and powerful classes if the user knows what they are doing.

Few things to say: 1. That was FACKING AMAZING!!! 2. Sniper is being totally useless. 3. Demo actually saved them all, as a. it was obvious scout and soldier were about to die, and b. the tank doesn't kill anyone until the bomb actually goes in the bomb hole.

The music and the camera angle for the arming of the tanks bomb is great its so good.
I know this was meant to be a remake of a scene from a move,but...the sniper,heavy,and engineer see all this crazy shit going on,yet they stay where they are and watch from the sidelines...if they came in,the heavy/soldiers strength alone probably would have been enough to hold back the bomb for a while. (If you look at how the soldier pulls up the bomb a couple of inches like nothing,think what the heavy could do)
Now think,if they all came and helped scout,the bomb would be able to do shit with all their strength combined,and the bomb probably would have been stopped.

Well I'll have you fucking know, The heavy was at the front with all the fucking robots at the start, how is he going to get through it? The scout has the speed to bob and weave through all the robots. The demo has damage resistences and speed from the shield and the soldier can rocket jump. The sniper doesn't do much damage against the tank hence why you shouldn't attack it as a sniper. The snipers job is to destroy the bomb carriers especially and large groups of enemies and giants.

The reason for the soldier, scout, demo, and heavy coming from the back of the robots is because they we trading hats when they relised the bomb was reaching the whole. Sniper was the only one in my opinion doing what he was supposed to do and group of robots at bay, but he couldn't destroy the tank since his guns weren't strong enough.

We can all only hope one day part 2 makes a glorious return. It was so brilliant in terms of visuals effects and musical direction in specific. (For those who remember them; scenes like the bullet deflection between heavy and the giant, the laser beam of doom when fully charged, etc.) it was a surprisingly emotional crossover between the two IPs and the people unable to view it are being deprived of hard work in sfm.
