People wonder why we car guys like our cars so much and why we're so protective of them. This is why. It is the same bond. I brought my car back from the edge of going to the junkyard. She's nearing 300,000 miles now, and I know every little bolt and nut on that car. My friends try to convince me to replace the car with something newer, but it wouldn't be the same. The sound of an engine running because YOU took it apart and fixed it. The feel of the steering wheel in your hands, the sensation of going down the road in something you, only you, fixed. It becomes more than 2,400 pounds of steel, glass, and plastic. It gains a personality. It has likes and dislikes. My car doesn't run well unless I use one of only two brands of oil. If I were to put the wrong brand of spark plugs in, it won't start. This video makes me tear up at the end every time, because I can imagine it being my car getting wrecked, or something like that. Those of you who never do things with your hands, I feel sorry for you because you'll never know the pride of accomplishment. If you've never felt that, go build or fix something. Even if you're not good at it, you will be one day. The feeling is like no other.

I brought my car back from the edge of going to the junkyard. She's nearing 300,000 miles now, and I know every little bolt and nut on that car. My friends try to convince me to replace the car with something newer, but it wouldn't be the same. The sound of an engine running because YOU took it apart and fixed it. The feel of the steering wheel in your hands, the sensation of going down the road in something you, only you, fixed. It becomes more than 2,400 pounds of steel, glass, and plastic. It gains a personality. It has likes and dislikes. My car doesn't run well unless I use one of only two brands of oil. If I were to put the wrong brand of spark plugs in, it won't start.
This video makes me tear up at the end every time, because I can imagine it being my car getting wrecked, or something like that. Those of you who never do things with your hands, I feel sorry for you because you'll never know the pride of accomplishment. If you've never felt that, go build or fix something. Even if you're not good at it, you will be one day. The feeling is like no other.

I should also add the car I saved was the car my parents bought for their honeymoon. They needed a car, so they used the money they had saved for a honeymoon to buy it.

You can find some interesting information about gamemodes in the comics, too. For example: Did you know that Gray Mann murdered his two brothers Redmond and Blutarch and that was the idea behind MVM? Those robots are Gray Mann's mercs. And that's also why you could push Redmond's and Blutarch's corpse on Helltower.
