This video was excellent mate. Helped me change mine over in a 2006 Rio. Hardest bit was trying to get one of the nuts back on in the footwell. Zero room in there to maneuver, took ages to get it on.
I like to watch videos and learn something new. The only think I am confused about is, you keep mentioning you were replacing the clutch side and during the video in minute sround 12 you mention clutch pedal so I am not sure before that if you were talking about the clutch pedal or brake pedal because is the brake master reservoir. Otherwise is very nice and to the point. Thanks for posting it.
Kia rio 2009 just got a new clutch disk and plate and also clutch slaves. Gear shifts but when on high speed to change from 3rd gear to the fourth gear on stepping on the clutch or flattens when you reduce speed after so.e times the clutch becomes normal and not flatten
Just changed mine. This video glossed right over the work inside the car. Pulling the pins that hold the piston to the pedal was cake. The bracket at the end of the piston (that connects directly to the pedal) doesn't have to come off ... it fits right through the hole in the firewall. The 2 nuts that hold the cylinder in place were east to get to, also. Didn't have to do much contorting ... at least not as much as I expected. My replacement hose (from the fluid reservoir to the cylinder was about twice as long as I needed, and my trauma shears made _short_ work of it! 😂 I'm now working on the slave, and can't figure out how to get the bolts out to get it off. Time to find another video!
What he is changing is the Master Cylinder; the slave cylinder is down on the front of the engine and is attached to the clutch mechanism. Mere symantecs I know but I just wish they would use the correct terminology to save me having to watch a video that does not deal directly with the terminology.
I have a 2006 kia rio 1.5 crdi. My clutch pedal biting point is very low. Ive bled the clutch and still the same. Reverse gear also making a noise. Do you think i should just replace clutch or get a new slave cylinder
This squeaking sound when I press the Clutch I think it's from the slave cylinder ... Can you make a video how to make lunrecation for this part and what kind of grease we should use ?
friend, when I step on the clutch pedal it gives a squeaky sound. In the video you can also hear it when you press the clutch pedal in the last video, is that normal?

Who's the person releasing the Clutch, before you have asked them to? Lol!
Excellent vid 👍
Clutch not working still. Clutch Pedal is low. I changed master cylinder coz it was leaking.
I thought the slave cylinder was mounted to the transmission?

Well Done.
what was the reason you change it?
nico pepe no clutch operation, pressing the clutch and no hydraulic pressure to the clutch release bearing.

What about if my clutch is getting harder to press after not using it i.e in long drive no change gear almost 30mins? What is the problem?.
Have you find out what's the problem with your clutch bro? Because i'm experiencing the same problem.
Have you find out what the problem? I'm experiencing the same problem now
I am also experiencing that same problem..
Up, any update?
Also having a similar issue, looks to be common. Any resolution?
Said slave cylinder and showed clutch master cylinder.
Downvoted. title says slave cylinder replace and this is master cylinder replace. Thanks for the wasted time.
Fixed it. Mechanic mistakenly says "slave cylinder" at the beginning of the video, but at least the title and thumb are correct now.
APDTY Thanks. Changed to upvote. Lol
