You made that look easy, just replaced my master cylinder on my wifes qashqai and it was a real nightmare to get back in,then having to bleed pipe to get pressure back in the clutch pedal, thanks for the video bud.
Make sure ur beak fluid reservoir is topped up 🔝 plus you can try to take syringe 💉 disconnect pipe which goes from brake fluid reservoir to master cylinder and inject some brake fluid to master cylinder… just fill it up and it will give u initial kick…connect everything back together and pump clutch pedal by hand…just make sure ur brake fluid reservoir is topped up to the max… Let me know if it worked… worked for me anyway! I’ve straggled with this bleeder nipple as well a bit…
Hi have a qashqai 2011 clutch pedal dropped to the floor but my black clip attached to the pedal is not broken but the pedal goes up and down with no pressure, resevoir is nearly full and have checked the pipes you shown in the video and there is no leaks just came off motorway and pedal went does the master cylinder itself go faulty? Nothing to lose so buying a replacement anyway. Thanks
Hi, I have an NQ manual 1.5 and am experiencing problems with gear shifting, especially in 1st and 2nd gear. Sometimes it shifts without any issues, but other times I encounter resistance when I try to change gear. I recently changed the gearbox oil, but it hasn't improved the situation. I'm considering whether there might be air in the system or if something needs adjustment. When I encounter resistance, pressing the clutch 2-3 times helps, and then the gear shift becomes easier. And sometimes, when it’s in 1st or 2nd gear and I want to shift to neutral, I also encounter resistance. And when I put it into 1st or 2nd gear, I can feel the engine shaking as soon as I put it into gear. Du you think ther is Air I den system? Thanks 😊 ❤
Make sure you have plenty of brake fluid in your reservoir!!! On max mark..do not let it run dry!!! If still struggling perhaps try to prime master cylinder itself be injecting brake fluid with syringe 💉 take needle off , fill syringe with brake fluid, take top tube off which goes to ur master cylinder…take it off there it connects to ur brake fluid reservoir and inject brake fluid into ur master cylinder… pump clutch pedal…perhaps press in once…then inject more brake fluid… reattach tube back … and try to bleed it now… Hope it helps!!!
I am struggling to do the last step. I cannot get the bleeder valve pipe into the “2nd position” I am trying to push the metal clip downwards and the pipe to the right? Is this correct do you have any tips. No fluid or air is coming out.

Isn’t it possible to just buy the plastic that breaks off , I think it’s called a clutch master cylinder buckle/clip , it’s a white plastic thing right ?
I’d say everything is possible if u can get spare parts… Complete master cylinder price starts from around €50 if you shop around…So it was no point trying to rebuild it considering it was in service for nearly 15 years 🤷♂️ But would be interesting to see someone would actually rebuild it 👍
@@rowanabrahams9280 not sure, but keep pumping it unit all air is going to come out.. make sure you keep topping up bake fluid as well. Hope this helps 👍 👍 👍

You may have saved me alot of dosh as I was told my slave cylinder had gone but Inthink its the master cylinder after watching your video.🤞👌

No. You can do it on your own no problem!
Most excellent 👌👍
is this hose that you disconnect and connect at the end the clutch release valve
hi did you use a tool to get it to bleed position as i cant do it with my finger?

I have a question, is there a seal in the pipe that you connect to the pump?
@@GrzegorzMi99 it’s just a basic push in connector. 👍

when buying this part online, theres only "left hand drive" ones available. Are they different for RHD?
